I don't normally pay attention to sextile transits, because my understanding of sextile transits is they don't generally tend to generate action or noticeable effects on someone's life. Would this still be the case with Uranus?

With Uranus transits, I know that it shakes up whatever it touches and produces changes in what is typically considered normal in an area of life or in the way a planet functions. It opens us up to new experiences and seeing things from a different perspective.

My primary question though is how much impact can Uranus have, especially with a sextile? Transits do eventually end, plus would a sextile really have enough power to indicate an event that brings permanent, lasting change?

Am I right to assume that with a sextile to the Moon, Uranus may just shake things up for a while before things go back to normal? Is it possible for something to stay changed after this transit is over?

conjunction, square, opposition, those are the the aspects of change.

The sextile aspect, being associated with Gemini/3RD house implies a reasoned and logical approach. This is described as an opportunity aspect, because you can see things clearly, and choose rationally whether to act or lets thing pass. To benefit here requires personal action. Though there shouldn't be adverse effects to not taking any.

As the moon rules emotions, and the sextile denotes intellect, tUranus sextile nMoon implies flash insight into your feelings without emotional subjectivity. The moon can be irrational and unreasonable, Uranus will bring your attention to this as well as highlight ways in which such behaviors are no longer beneficial.

The angular aspects denote change, and the sextile aspect is not one of them. At most this aspect will allow you to continue the momentum gained at the conjunction or the separation square.

These are the aspects that I usually pay the most attention to when it comes to transits.

Based on what you've said, I assume the quincunx isn't one of them either? Uranus is making a quincunx to my Ascendant right now as well.

My experience recently has been very strange, and to be honest, my question comes from feeling influenced by Uranus on some level, my emotions being the dominant thing that seems to have been altered by the influence in question. I'm not sure it can be connected to anything astrologically, though it does seem to be significant enough to, I think, show up through a transit of some kind - even if it's just a temporary thing.

This is a good window of opportunity for friendships, variety and changes in home environment, even some travel to shake things up. Since it will last a couple years in total there is plenty of time to do something to brighten your life.

If you want something to change (not change for the worst but for the GOOD, too)... you need hard energy... sextile/trines will just allow things to slide or help make hard energy be a little more smooth... you won't even notice anything with a smooth/easy energy...

even when I have just traveled (like across the country or to a different country for a couple weeks) I still had hard aspects in SA, Prog, or Transits (and I consider the conj as a hard aspect).

About the inconjunction (and this is just my personal experience)...

Everytime I have had a medical issue OR in a uncomfortable situation the inconj shows up...

A couple examples:
When I started liking a guy and I feel weird around him this aspect shows up...(either in my chart with transits or prog) or in prog to natal synastry between two people... (like I have this going on now, and the weirdness it so off the chart that I had to back off, my Prog Venus is inconj his Sun (usually when it gets bad to the point I have to back off the orb is 12 mins applying to exact)...

I have also had this pop up when I'm starting a new job and there is training that would be happening that's causing me anxiety.

Best way to see how you handle an energy is going back into the past and looking at transits/progs/SA... (And I'm talking about aspects).

I have a Yod... (between my Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, Sun, and Moon)... and I'll probably, for all my life, have anxiety and feel uncomfortable around myself and other people)...
