For me, Pluto(like Uranus) is best not touching the personal angles.Pluto is the planet of extremes. Its all or nothing and things get so serious. Too serious and deathly so. When in 7th, these people (like Venus-Pluto,Venus Scorpio,Scorpio Desc) can infuse drama in the relationship in order to feel closer to the mate. So there are upheavals, up/down motions that mean that the relationships get saved at the very last minute or transform at the brink of collapse i.e falling inlove with each other right after calling it quits. Choosing mates that are emotionally raw or are very dramatic about their feelings etc. Is the marriage doomed? No. Pluto in 7th usually is bored with marriage that is without major storms to affirm the passion and commitment they feel for the partner. Mars conjuncts the DC in my chart. Its similar. These guys want the relationship to be fire, sparks and passion. So mates that are reserved in letting that hang out, will not last. IP: Logged |

I'm not coming from a traditionalist standpoint - and I don't think a planet in a certain sign of house has to absolutely indicate a particular event (horary might be another story but I'm not expert in that at all). I have Pluto conjunct Mars in my 7th house natally. I have never been married but I did have one very long-term partnership, with a Scorpio sun in fact, and it ended pretty wretchedly. However, it has provided me with a whole lot of insight as I process it over the years, reflecting on it in different ways and gradually letting the pain go. It teachers me a lot about myself. Pluto has the potential to do this. Pluto in the 7th house can probably be massively hard - on the person who has it and perhaps also on those they relate more closely with. It's about the soul... in deep relationship. personally, mine is in Scorpo so it's all amplified. Pluto in the 7th house may indicate a lot of pain in relating, but it also offers opportunities for tremendous growth and insight into oneself in the context f relationship. Relationships offer lessons no other things in life can. I think it is also is significant to take into account the sign of your natal Venus when considering the power & effects of a 7th house Pluto. I'll be honest - during this past year I'm going through a lot of fears and pains around relating to others in my life. I've gone through a period of massive isolation and mental illness. I have, for one reason or another, had to let go of pretty much all my past relationships - family, friends, partners, co-workers, etc. - and move forward into an unknown territory, basically entirely on my own. My Venus is in Aquarius, so community connection strongly factors into my 7th house relationships, with my Scorpio Mars and Pluto there. Soemtimes it really feels like I'll never be able to find satisfying close relationships - including something like marriage. Yes, I do wonder about the "bad luck" potential of having an energy like luto and Mars in the 7th house. But I don't believe the hype - about some absolute, fied outcome in my natal chart. I have some perspective, and know I'm learning as I go. We all do the best we can. IP: Logged |

No placement, even in the 7th house, by itself determines outcomes of relationships. It does mean you'll experience profoundess, transformation by close contact and relation to others, usually particular individuals, or even with the masses. It really depends on how you handle the Pluto energy in relating. If there is an eye to the meeting place with others, expecting to be challenged and changed by others, and you can make the ego adjustment, then there's no reason you can't have successful relationships. ------------------ The Declinations Guy > Expert birth chart rectification > Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |
