I don't mean flat out lies, Libra would never be caught in an outright lie. But withholding the entire truth. For what? To spare feelings? To avoid a fight? Newsflash! When you get caught up in your half-truths, fights happen. Only, the repercussions of that situation is that there is not only the thing you didnt want to discuss, but now there is trust lost. Is that really better?

It's infuriating and exhausting.

Not to mention with the Libra in question, we have Sun (me) conj Moon (him) in each other's 8H. I know him inside and out.

I'm so tired of it. I feel like every time he opens his mouth I have to question if there is something he isn't saying.

Nine: Libra is my BFF, she wouldn't lie to me like that.

I don't understand it at all.

People accuse my kind (Pisces Merc) of being liars and I can admit that I have done things like declining invitations to things by saying I'm busy when I'm not, but I can't imagine being asked a direct question and lying about it.

That's been my experience with Libras; cold, unprovoked lying. I grew up around this sign, it was no fun having to question everything your closest friends told you.

It was some guy from a different country. They were exchanging messages, she was flying out to meet him, get engaged, and if things work worked out eventually marry. This is what she said before she flew out. After she came back she showed me the pix and video of her "engagement" party. I always heard she had a lying problem, but we were besties I had no reason to question her story.

Some are the devil's advocate that people complain about because they're too argumentative (and they can also be very crabby, one of the risks of a Libra who is out of balance).

But in situations where I would lie:
1. if my life is in danger
2. if I can't trust the person I am talking to (they may have backstabbed me in the past, or known for gossiping)
3. if I am protecting something or someone else

I personally don't like being lied to, but if I can understand the motivation behind it, it bothers me a lot less. I have noticed a few Libra Suns that lie about really big things but mostly it's half-truths. "I went to the movies yesterday." Not the full truth: "I went to the movies yesterday with Sarah (your ex-best friend)." Loyalty is a finicky thing with Libras. In their heads, they're loyal to you as long as they always come back to you. But it's what they were doing during the interim that most people wouldn't consider being loyal.

Actually, I know I’ve complained about Virgo Moons on here and ironically, the 2 biggest sh1t-head liars I’ve ever met are: Libra Sun/Virgo Moon!

Person that got me into astrology from sheer exhaustion and bewilderment was a :Libra Sun/Libra Moon. The lies were endless and I couldn’t keep tack of them all anymore :-/

Well he has pluto in libra and is super idealistic, very high ideals, not the type to waste his mercury in scorpio energy on lying and been sneaky. He spends his time learning new things. His mercury conjuncts eros, has lots of interests.

I can say she trusts me the most out of the family, but I am lied to in the same ways as well. Half truths like no other.

I just really don't care though. If you wanna lie to me about your life? Great. Don't lie to me about things that will personally affect me, and you can lie all you want otherwise.

You have to pick your battles with people, and I find most of the lying that Libra Suns/Mercuries do is harmless and for the sake of avoiding conflict.

Same. It was also a Libra who got me into Astrology of all signs. Didn't want to be fed another lie, so I didn't push for the birth date or age. Just that the birthday was in 'first part of October' This one had Diarrhea of the Mouth of Lies.

Yeah. I won't attribute it to all Libras, but for me, it was re-written history, and a comment that we were never really friends. She once sent me a card with a picture that had been coloured in by her daughter, and a "we made it!" (We got through that winter). my mistake was believing the pretty words, all along.

I’m gonna get pounded for this, again, but I’ve tried to convey that it is MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with Virgo Moons and none have been pleasant!! Yes, they are detailed, analytical, practical, sexual (some) and so forth but it always seems to get taken too far to the point of lies. It’s been lies about needing to borrow money because “I’m short for rent this month” which turned out to be a new bag purchase. It’s been lies about wife leaving and taking kids which was actually not the case at all. It’s been lies about going to whichever store downtown and it turned out to be somewhere else. It’s been lies, and tears, about being depressed and “messed up” and “omg I need help” and it only turned out to be diversion of my suspicions of.....lies.
I’m well aware of Virgo/Mercurial ways of “changing” but it’s one thing going with the flow and a completely different one to tell lies all the time. Seeing as some of them (I only mentioned 2 above) had Libra Suns I can’t really pin it on the Sun or Moon but I just found it an odd coincidence.

I had a childhood friend who was a Libra, and I was pretty certain, even as a kid, that she didn't care, based on her actions. She would make plans to hang out "just in case" she had nothing else going on. If something else popped up, she would call and cancel our plans like 5 minutes before we were supposed to meet. It was awful.
