Sun in 1st house is really like having a sun in leo?

Moon in 1st house is really like having a cancer sun?

so on...

This theory is true or not for you?

I would say not true, I have my Sun conjunct my Asc in the first house, in Scorpio and I'm anything but a Leo.
Having your Moon in the 1st house makes a person wear their emotions on their sleeve, an extreme case being self harm.

I'm a 1st house moon and I don't wear my emotions,I mean I went through a depression and no one notice lol

I'm moody though and sensitive.I hate to be observed, smells and sounds can easily change my mood for the better or worse etc

and I love my family so much. (Is that a cancer trait?) I'm happy if they are happy. If I'm going to eat something I think about them.I feel sad if I don't share my stuff with them.

I don't know if I have 4th house traits FC maybe a little bit?I don't know.

I'm a capricorn sun, maybe that's why family is so important to me?

No, not true for me. I personally don't agree with this theory.

I have Leo Moon in the 1st house and I love it! It makes me emotionally expressive, open, straight foward, direct, warm hearted, and pure. I always know how I feel and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I could not put on a pokerface. I think that displaying emotions is a strength not a weakness. Unfortunately I can be impulsive, selfish or childish emotionally at times and I often have a "me, me, me" attitude when it comes to my emotions. In my opinion is it quite similar to Moon in Aries. Also, my Moon/Mars sextile just adds to that energy.

I have noticed that generally speaking there is no consensus among astrologers when it comes to interpreting planets in the 1st house.

Some say that for example Venus in the 1st house adds Taurus/Libra Rising energy and Mars in the 1st house adds Aries Rising energy to the natal chart.

Others say that the 1st house is like any other house and point out the fact that it is associated with the Aries/Mars archetype, therefore Venus in the 1st house adds Aries Venus and Mars in the 1st house adds Aries Mars energy to the natal chart.

I personally agree with the latter. I'm not saying that planets in the 1st house = planets in Aries, but they do share similarities. The energy of planets in the 1st house is very much "in your face", it would be hard to hide and it needs to be expressed directly. This is very Aries like in my opinion.

I would say use the system that works for you the best, neither is right or wrong.

I agree with what you wrote.

Planets in the 1st do add the "I am what I am" persona.
They know not of any other way to be and can come across very self centred or "selfish". Objectivity is not their strong point

My sister has Moon in 1st. When it comes to feelings, she can describe her own well. But she is blind to how others feel and projects how they would feel if she was in their shoes.

She is not like me(Moon in 3rd) as I tend to examine feelings as separate from me and interrogate them. She does not. Her feelings ARE who she is.

My ex was the same-Moon in Virgo conjunct the Asc in Virgo.

Venus in 1st(another ex) tends towards the aesthetic. They can be easy discriminators of what is "beautiful" and what is not. Often they look like art-even if not handsome or beautiful.

The ex paid attention to how he looked. Bad clothes or fashion sense used to get him worked up. He would judge people harshly for not putting effort in how they looked.

I think he wanted to be "living breathing art". He loved places where artistry or creativity was strong. He was an aesthetic individual and saw himself on tv or among those fashionista types. He wanted that decadent life that is "sex and the city".

Omg that is sooooooooo swweeeet

That reminds me of my mom who is a highly sensitive person, I dont mean that negatively. There is a book about this..

She has sun in capricorn with jupiter in pisces and saturn in libra. I think the combo of those three things really explains this about her.

Not my experience.
It does add an extra "flavour" to the first house, but it's not like having an additional Sun sign. Thr first house is how you're perceived, what you show to the world and your physical representation, so with Moon there, a person would show more emotions and appear needy, moody and susceptible to other people's energy, just like Cancers. But the Sun is still the boss. For example, I've got Jupiter in the 1st, and although I sometimes take a role of a clown, and I appear laid back, optimistic, philosophical and broadminded (and broad-bodied ), at the end of the day I'm still a pure-blooded Aries. It's just that I sometimes demonstrate some Sagittarian traits, but that's not who I really am.

I actually know a Leo sun/ Leo rising and shes very much as described.

Although she has some Virgo in her so shes not very flashy or shes a "matured" leo.

As person I very much like her.

She knows how to get things done, do it right and then smile at the end....very good Leo traits.

I have a libra moon in the 1st conjunct pluto . IDK , I can be easily hurt and use to hide my feelings deep inside always more caring towards others wanting to make everyone happy etc.

As I got older this became more of an anger management type thing as repressing emotions are not very healthy. I think this is the Libra scales thing so I tend to be a little more direct if something grades me yet while trying to be kind and considerate to others. If I am hurt or ****** , it's usually doesn't matter what the other person is feeling and I can explode.

I think the sign of the moon or planet does have some sway in how things are projected or perceived.

My libra moon is conjunct pluto in the 1st so I see more into relationship dynamics than most. It's like I try to find the heart of the situation and help two people find middle ground because I like peace and harmony.... Not sure why but it seems like I can just hear people talk and figure out what is going on with them a lot of the time yet I am not always sure because I am not in their minds or body.

Ok, I'll play

I have always felt like a Gemini. I love words, I love playing with words, people know me as 'the one who is great with words'.

I'm a Taurus sun, with aqua rising and moon in Leo. Empty third house. I do have Venus in Gemini, but that's it.

And then along came placidus (and an excellent chart validation) and threw mercury into the first house - and the Gemini attachment makes more sense. That merc is tightly trine my MC, and my Asc is tightly trine my Venus in Gemini.

And it makes more sense.

I am not a typical Gemini, by any stretch, but the first house mercury and the other tight aspects definitely explain why I'm so at ease with being a very twin-like Bull.

This placement can give confidence but too many planets in the 1st can make it hard to see things from the point of view of others.

I have my Sun (Aqua), Mercury (Pis) and Jupiter (Aqua) in the 1st house and my 1st house in in Aquarius. I thought the 1st house was more of an Aries flavor since it's the first zodiac. Also that the 1st house person never sees themselves clearly as someone else. I've been told by others how I'm perceived and i'm always like "huh??".

Haha, that's true. I have a hard time balancing my 2 1st-House placements.

------------------
Cancer Rising
2nd House Leo Sun
3rd House Leo Mercury
6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto
1st House Cancer Venus & Mars
9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC.

I have Pluto in Scorpio in my 1st house.
Let me tell you, Pluto in the 1st house is merciless and not for the faint of heart. It has the power to completely destroy you in order to then rebuild you and this cycle repeats itself until you defy all the odds of fate. I have lived through this cycle many, many times and greatly define myself and my identity through these extremes I've overcome. It's hard for me with this position to show vulnerability but on the other hand I'm very good with people who experienced unjustified suffering because I know all too well what it feels like. I noticed that I polarize strongly. The eccentric, the old, the weak, the disabled, children, or the afflicted like me while other people feel triggered by me and reject me completely. These are often people who have their own not confrontated shadows or people who have things to hide... However, I'm usually friendly to people because I'm so aware of my polarizing effect.
Do I wear a lot of black how often is associated with Pluto? No. I don't need it and I know that I'm already intense enough. I still like a certain aesthetic (sun glasses and rocker style). Having Pluto in the 1st house also means being elusive. I need my alone time and can literally disappear when I've had enough.

You say it well.
I would say positive ignorance of my Jupiter helped me shake some Pluto experiences without affecting me as much as they could. But I have hard to relate to regular positive people living regular life.

It scares me how much I can change and I try to hold on old parts of me for dear life when they get destroyed. And Pluto is pounding with lessons again and again.

Sometimes, I would like to wear all black and color my hair in very dark, but I know I cannot handle this style for long because eventually it would start to bother me whether I’m too intimidating and I would want to bring my Libra face back. So I usually dress dark when I don’t plan to socialize.
I often walk around in hat and sunglasses and don’t like to be recognized.

I too have Pluto in first, but I think it is mellowed out at the surface because of my personal planets in Leo. But that urge for self reflection and reclusive tendencies—definitely still there.

I used to think that planets in the 1st house were "1st preference" planets. But now (after viewing lots of charts) my thinking is that planets on the angles are ones who take centre stage.

On solar astrology,the Aries/Can/Cap/Lib
are cardinal points. They "hinge" on a turning point and are located around critical 29th degree of mutable signs and 0 Cardinal (otherwise known as the "Zenith" points)

Sp metaphorically speaking, your Asc degree represents tye "Zenith" point where the energy is at its edge. Like a movie that reaches a crucial point in the plot. All eyes are on the screen. So tye zenith point DEMANDS attention and planets in asoect to it(right 3 degree orb) also(by extension) take precedence over the others.

If Pluto is conjunct the Asc, it will oppose the Dsc. Similar to someone who has Pluto on the Dsc/ Mc/Ic, all their lives will have a common Pluto theme of loss & rebuilding. The destruction before the rebuilding.

So these people(as the earlier respondent mentioned) will know all about the heartache and pain involved in having ones life fall apaprt. And then from the rubble, having to rebuild again. Or start from ground 0.

Saturn in the Asc/Dsc or Ic/Mc will highlight delays and interruptions. Ones life doesn't go according to plans. It matures later in life and one may need to work twice as hard to get things moving.

There is little to no assistance. The native may grow up very quickly or assume responsibilities very eaely on. Life can be characterized by labour intensive pursuits, discipline and sticking to schedules/rules. Sometimes a chronic or life threatening illness will accompany this instillation of self discipline and consistency.

I have Mars conjunct the Dsc. Mars represents aggression, passion, martial expression, tension, accidents or injuries to the head or 5hise involving loss of blood, severance or spontaneous startup of bonds.

My life has been characterized by the above mentioned. I even have a scar on my head and head from an accident that occured when progressed Mars was parallel the Dsc
