Hi all!
My apologies for being so inactive, I originally signed up with the intention of being more active but life got in the way.

Just a little update on this (for those that may or may not remember) http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/237086.html
Me: Gem sun, Aqu Moon, Cancer Asc, Cancer Venus
Him (roughly): Sag sun, Scorp moon, Cap Venus

So, we ended up going on a couple of dates back in January. There were some rumours flying around and the boss warned us that if he found out that we were dating, we would be sent to different stores. So that was the end of that (plus there was some other stuff about the him not being ready to be in a relationship/gotta work on himself mentally blah blah- coming from the guy who was planning our 3rd date right after the 2nd one).
We stayed friendly but a few months ago he started flirting with me again and like before, was constantly asking me to the movies etc but never following through. He rarely contacts me outside of work. One of our co-workers at work told him we’d make a cute couple and he told them that he didn’t want me to be sent to a different store and that he enjoyed being ‘cute’ with me at work.

Lately Mr sag/scorp has been awfully close with this other girl, following her around etc. Despite all this, he still says he'll take me to the movies/out for ice cream/whatever. I thought I was over him, but when I saw him following the girl around, I got SO MAD.
So, to keep my sanity I started to pretend he wasn't there. He also ignored me too....and lasted about 3 days, where afterwards he texted me asking why I wasn't talking to him and if he could fix it, saying he didn't want to lose me as a friend(…yay).
I was honest and told him why and, seeing as I didn’t view him as a friend, I have to continue to ignore him.
He told me that he and that girl were just good friends and that he didn't want to risk losing me "forever" (gee, really?) so would give me the space I needed but would like for me to start talking to him sooner, rather than later because he misses me at work. I ended it by saying that we could talk sooner if he stopped being chicken(nice way of putting it)and just asked me out already but, for now, I won’t be speaking to him.

A couple of days later his friend, who also works with us asked me what was going on, as Mr. Sag/scorp had been upset about it for the last few days. His friend reassured me that there was nothing going on between Mr sag /scorp and the other girl. I told his friend that I was 100% sure Sag/scorp didn't like me "in that way" which is why I'm avoiding him. His friend said that he wasn't so sure as, he talks about me a lot and says only good things. He said the Sag/scorp had been in a 3 year relationship up until a year or so ago, where afterwards he lost his confidence and went thought a 'slutty' phase (we didn’t do anything sexual but it seems I was part of that phase) but according to his friend he has definitely done some maturing since then. His friend thought it was a good thing that I was sticking to my guns and ignoring him.

After contacting me, Sag/Scorp is back to normal and acting like his did at the beginning of the year. Even waiting 5 or 10 minutes for me to finish my shift just so he can say bye to me(I just glance at him and keep walking). And he STARES at me all the freakin' time!
His friend is wrong. Sag/scorp doesn’t like me…I gave him the opportunity to own up and tell me his feelings and he didn’t. I feel like it’s more of a game of cat n mouse.
Grrr. What is your deal mate? I know you’re just trying to get me to crack so I’ll talk to you again. Go away and stop playing with me before I stab you with a fork!

Me thinks that when a guy really likes a girl, it brings out the animal(Mars) in him. So am curious where his Mars is.

Some of us dont wear our hearts on our sleeve. And this is typical of Moon in Scorp/Venus in Cap. It really is a matter of fearing rejection.

Work relationships are tricky. Some people prefer their partner not to see them all day long/being disciplined by the superior or having to live in each others pockets etc. Mystery somehow adds to the attraction for some(Scorpio Moon especially).

It could be that he doesn't like u like that. Or is torn between maintaining professionalism at work vs being with you. That is if he takes his job seriously.

My advice is that with most Sag people, giving them space and being open ended is best. Just keep things light and friendly.

You don't seem to mind having relationships at work I see. Is he comfortabe with that too?

Hahaha thanks hypatia238

His Mars is in Cancer.
Unfortunately it may not be 100% accurate because I don't know the time of his birth.

Yes, work relationships can be quite difficult, especially if you see the other person everyday. Thankfully, we only see each other twice a week (if that).

I don't mind workplace relationships, as long as we're not working closely with each other and we keep things quiet.
Seeing as he was the one that initiated everything in the beginning, I would say he didn't mind either. That would have changed though, since the boss did warn him about dating co-workers (didn't stop my boss from dating his future wife though, heh).

Mars in Cancer? Hmmmm. Very defensive position. Also very strongly influenced by their emotions which suggests a personality that is prone to be prickly sensitive and typifies the Cancerian traits which at best can be protective/romantic or at worst moody/erratic.

You can seduce him by appearing needy, damsel in distress. His protective nature may pop out. But he may be terrified of you seeing his gooey centre. So he is a quite a tricky guy to crack because he may be prickly and icy at times. His emotional nature colours his actions very much.

If you are thick skinned and can take the on/off attention he gives. You have it made. Just dont expect a straightforward guy and all will be well and work out in ways unexpected. Friends or otherwise.

Thanks for the info Aries23.
Being a needy damsel in distress is the part of me I rarely let out. That could be a tough one.

Today he left work without saying anything to me. I sort of ignored him on and off...which probably confused him.
Admittedly, I would forget that I was ignoring him and would happily include him in the conversation (oops! ), then suddenly remember that I WAS supposed to be avoiding him (because it hurts talk to him and I'm avoiding those feelings...at least until I stop liking him, silly I know). Regardless of whether I was ignoring him or not, he would still STARE!! At one stage he was standing by the door and I was a little way away doing something else and everynow and then I'd turn around and catch him staring.

Bah! Betcha he wont give me the time of day once THAT girl comes back to work. Now she's the real damsel. Guess she wins huh?

You would think these things would happen naturally? But i guess its heavy-going if there are mixed signals.

Try to focus your attention elsewhere. Its not connecting.

Sorry for crashing your topic Cerulean, but caught my attention since I have been wondering about this lately myself, how guys seem to slip over to their Mars sign in some occations. My crush for ex has Venus in Libra, and when we are in a group setting he is ver bubbly, happy go lucky and for ex he will laugh out laud and be super cute.

But when we are in one on one interactions he is more calmer, serious and also a bit more in control and seemingly cold. He will still act out his libra sides but yeah I can almost only sence Capricorn, which his Mars sign is! I'm very sure he likes me! I just don't get why he is not "bubbly" with me when we are alone. Not that he is cold or so, he is still very attentive, caring and touchy feely, but more controlled.

Why is that? Why does a mans Mars come out to play in one on one situations? Is it because they "flirt" with their Mars?

Don't know really. It could be a primal thing i.e to assert oneself etc.

Mars in Gemini will talk and like to share an array of topics with their mate. Communication is life to them. And if the native also has Venus in Cancer, expect the topics to go into his family/close friends or yours.

I have more people with compatible signs to my Mars i.e Sun/Mars/Jupiter as friends and lovers. I don't do well with those who don't have a sextile, trine, conj from those planets to my Mars (by degree or sign).

Oh well that is interesting. So, a man with Libra Mars will what, give you an expensive bottle of rosé, and caress your skin with petals?

Such ANIMAL! Rawr!

Thankyou Randall and no problem Melinn!
I need to learn more about how "mars" works too.

So a small update:
Mr Sag revealed to my co-worker (THAT girl) that he does like me but wont date me because he's afraid the managers will transfer us to different stores (Who cares? I can keep a secret!).

Well poo. Understandable but...poo, there's no way I can get around that.
Guess that's his Capricorn Venus coming into play?

The odd thing is, the first time Mr Sag told the manager threatened to transfer him to another store, I wished and wished that something would happen to change Mr Sag's mind, so we could resume dating. 10 minutes later I received a phone call with a job offer... which I refused because I enjoy my current job too much. Looking back, I realise something was probably trying to grant that wish! Funny how the universe works.

Actually, I had a friend when I was a teenager, he had Libra Sun and Mars. I had a crush on him. He was acting like a libra at first, you know, kind gentle etc etc. But then after some time he turned out to be a terrible person! He would treat me like **** sometimes, (and be a gentle libra at other times) and I would let him!

I had saved all our sms conversations in gmail storage, years ago, and I read them just today, man he was nasty even through texting! I'm so angry at myself for putting up with his behaviour! I have now delated all the "back up" texts. No need for that kind of "memories".

Looking at his chart now, I'm not sure what made him so nasty :/, a true dr jekyll and mr hyde situation. We had good synastry also, so well synastry means nothing if the person is a rude idiot!

So those who think Libra men always are all fluffy pink cloudy guys, has it wrong!

I know how hard it is to let go when you have invested so much emotions on someone! To me it sounds like he has commitment issues. It truly is him, not you! A man with his **** together would never let anything come in between you and something simple like work policies, I know it! He is not worth it. But yes I know its hard dear <3 sending you hugs <3

Thanks Melinn <3 and in the back of my mind, I knew it too, but still held on to the hope that things would work out. Looks like it really is time to stop hoping and move on. Thankyou so much

Maybe females go ultra Venus? I really dont want to generalize. But from what I have experienced, Males access their Mars when in pursuit.

Interestingly, I tend to pick up the masculine Moon in women quicker than men. And Mars signs quicker in men than women.

Two women with Venus in Aries I know tend not to be very subtle about whom they like. Perhaps the Martian energy of Aries is the source of all that?

My sister and I have a Venus(hers) and Mars opposition. And there are times when i just can't stand to be around her.

This Mars in Gemini(hers) being in trine aspect to mine does smooth things a lot. But she expresses this energy more in her social life(Mars in 11th) and tendency to travel about.

Its worth looking at....

Cerlean. Moon in Aquarius. From "Australia" breathlessly in love with a Sagittarius.

Curious.

Actually I dont find this sign confusing at all. Quite straight forward.

You didn't say if you are man or female?

Yeah it is very true! In my experience and of what I have read, females goes ultra venus and expresses their Venus when trying to charm a man, in social situations etc. Since my Mars is so well aspected in in my Mc,and touches all the fricking angles, I feel a bit blind to my Mars :/. While my Venus I can feel very easily.

In males I'm not sure, but one male friend who has Libra Venus is very libra, in group settings. And less libra in one on one settings, so dunno. But Mars should be the energy more easier for males to express I guess?

Maybe "easier to express" is not the right word to use. But because most Males are about "getting" stuff,Mars is the "how" they will get it.

Mars in Libra uses charm. Its influenced by Venus to get what it i.e seduction, manners, using looks, niceties, being diplomatic etc.

Mars in Cancer uses intuition. Its influenced by Moon to get what it wants. So it pulls back and forth depending on feelings. The stronger the feelings towards what they want, the more determined they are to get it.

Most women try to attract that which they want to them. So it could be Venus playing out. But they try to be the ones who will be "taken" rather than "takers" generally.

I am male btw
