It just occured to me you have Jupiter conjunct MC. Now tell me you have Gemini Mercury square that conjunction

Careers involving service aren't my thing. It is possible that people will be able to learn things from my writing, but I am not a jobs of service type at all nor do I think I'd make a good teacher.

You really need a career that makes you feel like you are constantly learning something new and or experiencing new things and were you can use your venus.
This part is mostly true. I'm not quite sure what would qualify as using my Venus, but I am a writer.

They aren't square. My Mercury is actually in Aries, but my Progressed Mercury is in Gemini.

Venus trine MC indicates a job related to art/beauty. Literature can be art. I suppose there are more obvious things in your chart that would describe your interest in writing. Other than that, it sounds like you're bothered a little too much. Remember, you are who you were before you knew about 6th house placements. Don't forget either that they hold multiple potentials (hell, it could be something that wouldn't occur even to me) and the whole story hasn't unfolded yet, after all you're still alive and young.
You are probably right about me being bothered more than I should be. I don't know where my 6th house placements fit into this, but I know that I sometimes tend to get obsessed with one specific thing in particular.

You say you're having an problem but problems can go away. Maybe a hidden health issue or poor diet are draining you. I suggest you limit your sugar/sweetener intate and check your thyroid.
About the poor diet thing. I'm not in the position to fix that at the moment, but I am aware that I need to work on expanding my diet. I will have to go through quite a lot of misery, pain, and utter torment to improve my diet at all, but as a picky eater, that's to be expected really. I'm not sure how long it'll be before I can listen to suggestions like "improve your diet," but I will at least work on learning to like different foods, which I admit will involve a lot of suffering on my end and probably several months to several years. My thyroid was normal last time it was checked. However, it may have been long enough that it needs to be checked again. In my opinion, it is more likely to be a hidden health issue. Unfortunately, I can't even begin to suggest what might be causing this. I'm theorizing that it's a deficiency in something, possibly a vitamin or something else my body needs, but I have no idea if this is true.

Maybe you have natal hard aspects from Uranus or Neptune (long-term difficulties).
Mercury, my Midheaven ruler, is square my Uranus and my Neptune. Uranus and Neptune also both aspect my Midheaven as a sesquiquadrate.

quote:
Do the people you're attracted to tend to have something personal in Virgo or the 6th house?
My boyfriend has his Sun and Mercury in Virgo. On the other hand, I have no idea how often I'm attracted to people with personal planets in Virgo or 6th house. This said, I really love all the Earth signs, which includes Virgo.

Now that I think about it, your South Node could have something to do with your struggle with the daily living.
Then I'd like my South Node to behave. :P

Picky eating...Yeah, you're likely to have deficiencies, especially if you rely on junk food and sweets a lot. Tell yourself you're changing this for the sake of your health. Or for astrology! So that your 6th house planets finally start making sense. If you like morbid humor, think of the nutritious foods you're scared of as veg monsters for example, and then eat them so that you can absorb the power of the beast

If you do check your thyroid again, check everything if you can afford it, not just TSH. That includes antibodies. Malfunctioning thyroid can be a b. Other than that I'd check iron and ferritin in the very least.

Mercury in the 5th house? That would make sense. It's fiction writing, right?

Hm. I was expecting hard aspects to the Moon or Mars more.

Why do I have a feeling he nags you about your diet? (I hope so )

My Mercury is in 5th house. Yes, it is primarily fiction writing, but I also plan to write things that aren't fiction.

He doesn't, but if he could see me eat, he probably would. However, my boyfriend will not need to nag me about my diet. My body is doing that on its own by sending me signals to stop eating certain stuff too much, which I think is hilarious on so many levels, because many people don't notice when their bodies tell them things. I used to be one of them actually. If you're curious, certain foods I love have begun to taste slightly different after eating them a lot and this experience has been increasing. My only option is to eat a bigger variety of food at the very least and I have to take this seriously.

Then I'll eat crabs until my South Node is dominated. Crabs can be eaten, right? I don't usually eat seafood so I'm not informed on what creatures are edible. I am pretty sure crabs are edible, though I have not eaten one myself up to this point.
