We all know so far that signs are related to houses e.g. Aries - 1st, Capricorn - 10th, etc. What do we make of houses and planets in opposite signs, not necessarily the cusp. For example, the cusp of my 12th is in the last 10 degrees of Leo, but 2/3 of it is in Virgo. 12th house is generally associated with Pisces, so to have 2/3 of it in Virgo is confusing, especially when trying to interpret celestial bodies or points in that area. I ask because I'm trying to interpret my own N. Node which is in Virgo in the 12th house, and I can't seem to come to a solid conclusion about how that shows itself or what it means. However, most of my chart is like this, so any information is helpful. Anybody else have any tips or tricks on how they synthesize this information? I've got aspects and sign interactions down, but now I've gotta work on dispositorship and house placements. IP: Logged |

Similar themes are maintained. For example with Virgo items in the 12th, service. For Pisces items in the 6th, service as well. It may also involve greater sensitivity to the links between mind and health, since the 6th/12th house pair relates strongly to themes of physical/mental health and the body-unconscious/mental-spiritual-subconscious or superconscious. ------------------ The Declinations Guy - Expert birth chart rectification Clickable Rising Signs> ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

I mean I can understand the selflessness aspect that they share and that Virgo sets up boundaries where Pisces dissolves them, but I can't seem to reconcile Piscean energy focusing on the big picture and Virgo energy focusing on the details. My thinking is, Virgo in the 12th means shining light on the specifics of the subconscious and unseen world while Pisces in the sixth means I have already blurred the ideas of bodily perfection and what physical health is in a past life (S. Node). I mean, I really want to define it and understand everything that it entails because it's my N. Node. Any other planet, and I'd be fine with a little ambiguity, but life is coming with a lot of changes. I'd like to use my chart to look for a few more unexplored ideas about what my future could look like. I know there's no "I should" in life, but there's "I want" and that might help me decide. I think it does, I don't feel good when my emotions are a wreak on a physical sense. It's learning mind of matter, positive thinking type thing or handling the emotional aspect to work on a physical aspect. My NN in Virgo is in the 12 house.

I think the error you're making is associating the signs with the houses. Aries = 1st house. Libra = 7th house. This is not true. Thus why you're confused. quote:

I also have this placement. Truthfully, I'm still unclear what the Nodes are meant to represent in a natal chart. IP: Logged | |
