For over a year now I have been receiving emails from Mary, who claims to be a psychic. In the emails she would give me little teases of her forecasts for me. Sone of the things she said hit home for me and seemed strange that she knew these things about me. Like she mentioned that I had gone through something a few years ago that is stil effecting me til this day and holds me back from being a happy. Kind of creepy because a few years ago I did go through a severe depression and it still affects me because I habe constant fear of going back to that state. But I didnt think I should believe it. So a year has passed, I never purchased any of her readings, but she continued to write to me. She can be quite convincing because she really seems like she "cares" about you and claims to have a "special connection" with you. Which she probably tells everyone the same thing in every email. But today I gave in. Since she took money through paypal I thought why not? I thought it would be safe or else she probably wouldnt except PayPal. So I purchased through paypal. It was 20 dollars so I thought it was a good deal. She said it may take a few days for the reading. Anywho I decided to look up reviews about her (so stupid of me to do it after the fact) but I was a bit worried about what I read. Some people were saying she was a fraud. Others said she was accurate. I dont know what to believe. Im scared. Have I been scammed? Anyone have an experience with her? Please give me your honest experience cause I dont know what to believe. Im really hoping she's legitimate.

I do think there is some type of scam going on here as she feels she has a personal relation to you. I think this is probably how she gets others to pay for her as a sales pitch but as a scam for wrong readings I am not sure of. Try posting this in personal readings and see what others have to say there, they could probably tell you more about it.

It's marketing and it's how most online marketing works.

She hasn't been writing to you for a year . Not technically.

When you gave your email, you signed up to the mailing list, and everybody who signs up is sent the same email. She's not writing to each individual in her mailing list. That'd be way too much work. The way it works is they make a bulk mailer account with premade emails which are coded to use your name. You could try it again with another email and call yourself "Sparkly Unicorn McPanties" and that'll be the name you're addressed with.

It's how email marketing is done. It's how Amazon does it, Ebay, when you sign up for free samples. They ain't talking to you personally. Sure if you reply they'll get it usually if it's more independent. So while they say they care for you and feel a connection ( :P ) that email's being sent to everyone, and it is scheduled.

I just signed up with my designated spam email.

"Hello SparklyUnicorn McPanties,

This is Mary your Professional Astrologer.

Thank you for subscribing to my website.

You will receive your Free Personal Report in about 2 hours to your email, as I need some time to prepare it."

The thing is that she's not actually doing it herself (the reading i'll receive). There's a program that does it. It doesn't actually take two hours, but that's just to give it a personal, authentic feel. It might not be wrong but she certainly isn't doing it all herself. It'll be a program with pre-written responses which does the calculation itself and delivers the description designated for each aspect and such. It probably isn't wrong but it also probably isn't great. I guess I'll have to wait 2 hours :P
Most the emails you get are just pitches will pulls.

As for were you scammed? That's debatable. It is cheap, so the product will be cheap as well. We'll only know when and if you get your results. And if you want maybe post your results somewhere for others to help determine the accuracy.

It is quite disheartening to feel we've been scammed but we all at some point have been there either at a store, market, shopping, or online. And feeling we wasted such money can be awful, but live and learn, I suppose.

I dont think they would be able to because I paid through PayPal right ? 😬Im just hoping she doesn't scam more money from my account or something. Ah Im only 20 years old and just started my doing things on my own 😫

Paypal is pretty secure, so it is unlikely since it's another party.

Aww don't fret too much. Independence can be scary, and the world can be rough and full of traps. But just know you've gotta be extra aware that you don't know what you don't know yet, and second guess things just in case. You're going to make mistakes, but at the same time embrace mistakes when you've made them. As in do your best to learn from them because the more mistakes we make, and can learn from, the stronger and more confident and self sufficient we become.
