Neptune and Uranus strong influences mostly. A lot of Pisces/Aquarius influenced people I find deal with these issues a lot....IP: Logged |

I kinda separate “mental illness”. There are those with a very quick, racing mind (such as mine-lots of Uranus going on) that have a very hard time to express exactly what it is that we want to say. It just never really seems to make any sense until days/months/years later. That can lead to a lot of mental agony and sometimes sheer frustration where stupid things will be done..Then there are those that actually WANT TO make themselves mentally ill by constantly making themselves the “victim”. Yes, I’ve met many of them and it’s equally exhausting as the first example! Then there are those, I presume, that have deeper, underlying issues that actually have nothing to do with astrology. I’ve met many Neptunians/Pisces that have been absolutely delusional and then there have been those that have been THE BOSS, with their sh*t fully together. The most psychologically, deranged, and in MY opinion twisted human I’ve ever met was a Cap Sun ( + merch and Venus), Scorpio Moon. Virgo Pluto gen. Godd*** psycho he was :-/ The Cap in him saved face however by making him APPEAR like a stand up citizen but underneath the surface there were other things going on. I know to 100% he was doing “things” with his sister (same parents). YUCK I’d say he suffers from permanent mental illness.. IP: Logged |

Well I have mercury square pluto in the 6th house. I developed OCD as a child to cope with trauma. Nowadays it's pretty mild until I become very stressed and get into mental loops or patterns to "control" the situation.IP: Logged |

I wouldn't go as far to say that my OCD is an illness, at least not yet. But I do struggle with over analyzing something, I have South Node in Virgo, by the way.

There are no "mental illness" placements in astrology. There are placements that can indicate types of mental illness', but that illness is not going to afflict someone simply because of one placement. The placements that indicate mental illness would drastically differ from illness to illness- some placements that indicate anxiety could directly contradict depression, but both of those are symptoms of mental illness.IP: Logged |
