I attended a film festival and was lucky enough to see a film called 'You were never really here' starring Joaquin Phoenix and it was brilliant. I have seen online that there is a rectification for his chart putting him as a Virgo rising. I think it's possible but I really think he's Sag rising (Neptune in the first house, with a Scorpio stellium in the 12th) and if not Sag rising maybe Libra rising with Pluto conjunct ASC. He's very introverted, quirky, soulful, charitable, private, intense, humble, awkward ... Do you think the rectification of 'Virgo Rising' is accurate? [img]i.imgur.com/svW3y6J.png[/img]

No. A fixed or cardinal sign is far more likely. Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius. Possibly Cancer.

I'd say taurus ascendant. He has a very down to earth appeal but what aries said fits too. It would put Aquarius on the Midheaven and fit in with the kinds of roles he choses. IP: Logged |

I would also say Cancer Rising, emotional but friendly (the familiarity) facial expressions, putting a lot of his planets (Scorpio) in the 5th house. Saturn Rising for his solitary status as an actor.
