I think of Saturn transit as the "minimal" effect. You try and compartmentalize your life as much as possible. It may start with your body/ physical appearance- you may stop wearing clothes that are too "young" or unrelated to the image you want to potray. -your appetite for many things(incl Food) may decrease or become more linear i.e you may adopt a strict vegie regiment or eating only 3 times a day and stick with it -you may lose interest in complicated dishes and opt for the traditional ones. - interests in fads i music/celebrity culture and movies wane. An appreciation for what you have or the bygobe era increases. -you may have a more conservative/cynical outlook. Critical of what you disprove of on the "new" -you may want to do or own something tangible i.e a flat, a position at work, a baby or even a spouse through marriage Saturn on Asc may suggest that ur body will start to "feel" like u can't do some physical stuff that you used to do anymore. So if you had multiple things that you did-pulling u in all sorts of directions. This transit may suggest u pulling out in many to focus on just one or a few. The term "if you don't use it, u lose it" comes to mind. And after the transit is over, you may find that you have gotten rid of quite a few things that u didn't use.. I remember giving up sports at school altogether to focus on Drama when Saturn was in Aries. It honed in my focus to where my energy would flow for many years thereafter. I also was wrestling sexuality issues that made me introverted and shy IP: Logged |

I have saturn conj in Capricorn too, I currently have transit: pluto conj saturn, then saturn return, pluto conj asc and saturn conj asc.If only the saturn return causes the effects that Aries23Degrees indicated. Could it be said that all the traffic that is approaching in my natal chart is a complete transformation of my person? I appreciate an answer. IP: Logged |

I'm actually worried about this as well. My boyfriend has a Capricorn Ascendant so I can only imagine what he'll be going through for the next few years. He doesn't tell me a lot about what he has to deal with. I'm worried he'll be more stressed out over the next few years and I'll never know a thing about it. quote: Does anyone know impact on Asc?
I can't tell you what impact it will have on your Ascendant, but I can say with certainty that the next few years will probably be tough and challenging for you. All I can tell you is what Saturn was like for me when Saturn's conjunction to my Ascendant was within orb and as it moved through my entire 1st house.Saturn recently left my first house. Its visit through my 1st house was exhausting, and after suffering constantly for my entire life, it was during Saturn in Sagittarius that I nearly gave up on ever being happy. I have been hit with issues non-stop since my birth, no exaggeration. I felt like Saturn going through my 1st house destroyed everything that makes me who I am. Many people get Saturn in their 1st house and it's hard. For me, Saturn was in my 1st house, and I felt suffocated and overwhelmed, because here was more hardship. The entire time, I also had almost no breaks from the pain of what was happening to me. It was around 3 entire years of non-stop destruction of everything that I was and I felt like I was going to break down. From my perspective, I was quickly approaching my limit of what I could handle. Saturn's visit through my 1st house pushed me past what I thought I could handle. It felt like pure torture, but Saturn's conjunction to my Ascendant was also my turning point. I most certainly did not see it that way at the time simply because all I had ever known before recently was hardship and I was losing confidence in my ability to be an adult. I felt like I was being left behind by my entire generation before this transit and that I was stuck with the mentality of a teenager that could not mature any further. This transit made me grow up, which was honestly what I needed to do, and it helped me become happier toward the end of its visit. There were likely other factors as well that played into the improvement of my life, but all those factors came into play while Saturn was going through my 1st house. More importantly, Saturn going through my first house is what pulled me out of my identity crisis. I now have a much stronger sense of who I am and I didn't really lose anything about myself during the entire transit. It just felt like I did. Instead, rather than lose anything that was important, I have made more gains than losses. I can't exactly say I have lost nothing, but at the very least, the things that were important to my identity have become stronger and I have made significant progress toward getting to the point where I can begin my life from a much stronger place of self-confidence and happiness. Hopefully, Saturn's conjunction to your Ascendant, and from there your first house, will not be as tough for you as it was for me. If it is, however, know that there is probably a good reason for anything that happens, just that it may not necessarily be apparent at the moment it occurs. As long as you are willing to stick things out, this transit will help you grow. IP: Logged |

Exactly what I feel is "stuck in an immature mentality" which has brought problems to my family, so I hope this transit as soon as possible and take it in the best way.Capricorn is my ascendant and part of my 12th house where I also have Saturn, Uranus and Neptune .. I do not feel identified with having had a hard life, since I was blessed to be born in an excellent family that was always present, very healthy and never made me miss anything .. but inside me it was always a fight, I was stuck with the immature mentality, I feel that everyone is one step ahead of me .. I always chose the bad way, bad friends, at school I was a disaster .. I always had bad choices .. I have another stellium with 4 planets in scorpio, so imagine they are half cap and half scorpio, I guess they are two very difficult energies. for that reason I am looking forward to this transit, it completely transforms me, to finally take the leap of maturity and above all so that my family can trust me and give them happiness because it costs me a lot of commitment and responsibility (strange for all the Capricorn) Sorry for my bad english. I'm happy that Saturn will be leaving soon the Sagittarius ! I think Saturn in the first house gives a detachment. And I read somewhere that when Saturn returns, we're often a bit depressive, it's the 30 years old crisis... But there must be, of course, some good sides IP: Logged |

Saturn in Capricorn, more seriousness.Saturn on Ascendant, the beginning of a new Saturn cycle. The previous fifteen years have been focused on the outer world. The next fifteen years the focus is on your inner self. Transiting the Ascendant is like going from a loud crowded festival to a cold empty room. Saturn in the 12th can be depressing transit, so it's kind of a relief when it leaves that house. But the 1st house transit can feel isolating. Some people turn mute during this transit, some lose a lot of weight, and get more serious about their appearance and approach to life. The Saturn Return is not bad for all. A Cap/Saturn individual will see growth or rewards during this time. If you have been immature or irresponsible, Saturn's Return is not going to be fun. I know people that lived carefree in youth, the Return was difficult for them. They had to get married or get a mortgage or return to school in order to grow up.
Late 20's to early 30's is a transformative period. Youth is gone and the Saturn Return is the start of a new life. The first thirty years was preparation. IP: Logged |

I have Capricorn rising, too, so I'm anxious to see what will happen. My Saturn Return was the only happy time of my life. My life has been pure hell before and after the Saturn Return. Honestly, the only way my life could get worse is if ended up physically tortured to death, which wouldn't surprise me at this point. IP: Logged |

I hope you get a compensation, or reward, for all the crap you've been through. IP: Logged | |
