I read an article about a girl who got multiple procedures to look like Angelina Jolie; and though it appears to be an extreme makeup transformation (check it out yourself here: http://www.instagram.com/sahartabar_official), I wondered about the charts of celebrities whose physical appearances are mimicked.People have famously altered their appearances to look like Barbie and Ken dolls, but what about those who have gone under the knife to look like Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie? What aspect(s) could Kim and Angie have in their charts that would encourage strangers to want to temporarily/permanently look like them? (Maybe we could throw Marilyn Monroe into the mix as well since her appearance is often replicated?) Edit: Justin Bieber is another example (thanks Melinn). Could Venus and Pluto, or a particular asteroid, be at work? Or, are these people points of reference because they're popular and considered beautiful by the masses? I'm curious to hear your thoughts! IP: Logged |

I have not thought about the planets when it come to this "issue". I know however that those who udergo extrem surgery, like those you listed they have gone through atleast 20-50 surgeries. Some even let remove ribcage bones to get slim waist.I have read psychology aspects about thise issue. Basicly this kind of people are "addicted" to surgery itself and to the painkillers and everything evolving around the surgery. The surgery, the recovery phase when one feels like trash and weak, they are addicted to that feeling etc, there is research about this so I won't go to deep about it. In short, its not only about altering the appearence according to this psychologic researchs, its much more complex and deeper then that! Maybe not always but often so. You seem to only mention females? Em I correct? There is as many male examples as females undergoing extreme surgery. I know of a man ho altered hi looks to look like superman. One who wanted to look like Ken. One who altered to look like Justin bieber etc so its a male and female issue. So what makes one addicted to extreme stuff like this? Neptune maybe? Neptune and Pluto (sadistic inclinations?). Uranus (wanna be unique). A weak venus. Bad seelfesteem (saturn) etc. So I think its more then venus involved atleast. IP: Logged |

Hi Melinn!Oh, I know that gender is irrelevant when discussing plastic surgery. Fictional characters aside, I'm more curious about the charts of the specific celebrities -- Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie, and Justin Bieber -- than the people who are addicted to plastic surgery. IP: Logged |

That's funny, I was just looking at an article about this just before reading this topic (I was just checking if there was something new on the asteroid section of the forum, after, but that's it)IP: Logged |

People want external validation. And as far as they are concerned, celebrities have that hypnotic power on the masses that they desire either through physical beauty, charisma, skill or all of the above.Neptune and Pluto are at play. Neptune for that intangible untouchable " ideal". The desire to embody it and become a living "god". Not for agressive power over others but for the experience of hiding urself under someone elses skin and then have others "choose" you because it was their idea. Pluto for the obsessive compulsive need to breathe in the air of "superiority". To be at the heart of extreme feelings and wield sexual power through seduction. To have the power to have people go from extreme hate to love. Never indifference Pluto-Sun Pluto-Venus Pluto-Mars Neptune-Sun Neptune-Venus Neptune-Mars
