I have cancer as my ascendant & frequently find myself attracting cancer venus & moon guys,, but the guy I'm currently (sorta) attracted to has his mars on my ascendant. It's a 2 degree conjunction, and although the rest of his chart is something I'd run away from (aries sun & venus and a sag moon),,I can't help but notice the sense of emotional attraction and familiarity between us. It took us a few days to notice each other, but once we did, I think we got along pretty well.

Him being the male & mars, does that indicate the possibility that he may be sexually attracted to me? Would like to hear your experiences with this placement!

Mars is sexy, you will be very attracted to him. This may also indicate ego conflicts, but women are better able to handle this than a man would in a woman's chart.

If on the other hand, you don't like assertive guys, this will be a turn off as you can't help but bring out the Mars in him.

The moon in the planet that gives you that feeling. So unless the moon in either chart is activated, it's unlikely things will move forward.

You could feel attacked by him, particularly if you have bad aspects to his Mars... But there is a huge attraction... and there could be other good things like a good energy between you two too I think.
