What do you think of no planets conjunct the North Node? I have sun opposite North Node, Neptune opposite North Node, Midheaven is quincunx, and a few squares and sesquiquadrates to the North Node but nothing conjunct it. I want to maybe be an actor or a singer, do you think this will make it harder for me? Maybe I won't be able to focus as well? Also what does it even mean when you don't have any planets conjunct the North Node? I have a few asteroids but that's about it. I know that we aren't meant to completely disregard our South Node to pursue our North Node and are meant to be more of a mix of the two, but what if you only have a bunch of planets aspecting it in non-conjunctions? What are your thoughts? Do you have this in your natal chart? Do you know of anyone who does? Is it worrisome for them? Most successful people I have seen have at least one planet conjunct the North Node and so this has just been stressing me out a little bit (being a Capricorn and whatnot haha) IP: Logged |

I don't have any planet conjunct my NN neither, nor my South Node. I just have Pluto square my Nodes. And there are some celebrities having no planet on the North Node, but on the South Node, like Britney Spears. I'll try to find celebrities who have no planet conjunct the Nodes. IP: Logged |

I have no planets conjunct NN. Just asteroid Vesta.I don't think that this will define how successful you are. Just like a square filled chart doesn't mean that the person will have a hectic existence. IP: Logged |

It is not necessary to have any planets conjunct the N.Node, and not having them has no specific meaning. quote:

So those are your 'back foot' planets to use in pushing off towards your spiritual direction, symbolized by the N.Node. And Sun-Neptune conjunct S.Node is perfectly in line with artistry/music. Develop that, do it, and later on you'll know what to do from there. quote:

No. No worries there. quote:

That's fine. You work with the energies of the planets and aspects that are there. I don't have any planets conjunct the N.Node either. It doesn't matter. There is no rule that you 'should'. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

Thanks for the reply. Really helpful, it's nice to know I'm not the only one out there like this. It seems like all of my friends and relatives have something conjunct the north node. I was just a bit stressed because all I ever read about "becoming your true north node" is how it is so much easier and such to do that when you have planets conjunct the north node and that life is harder to grab good karma when there is a lot of tension on the south node...Been stressing my poor capricorn soul out.

Often when a person is born with a particular planet conjunct the N.Node, it indicates that they are headed to bringing that planet's energy into fuller outward expression -- not necessarily in this lifetime, quite possibly in the next lifetime. The Nodal axis is not an illustration of 'must do' with a deadline. Nor is it a 'goal', but a description of the direction of your spiritual or soul development. Get the feel for the direction. We create stress or worry when we look at the astrological chart as if it holds commands for us or descriptions of 'shoulds'. We're all here by choice anyway. Enjoy the journey as we take it together. If you have a planet or planets conjunct the S.Node see that as positive -- a strength to be utilized. If you see it as somehow negative your conscious mind will create unnecessary dissonance with who you are as a soul and what you naturally bring to life. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |
