I have been wondering this for years as well. I'm a BIG fan of Morrissey and the Smiths.And was planning on making a similar post, but I'll chime in on here. I've heard theories of Leo ASC and I just don't see it - he is a introvert, especially when younger and his ambivalence about taking about his love life lends me to think, planets on the 8th H. Plus the overall dreariness of his early lyrics - a song about the Moors murders (8th H Mercury comes to mind). With a Libra ASC - Venus would be his chart ruler in Cancer in the 9th H opposite Saturn and moon is now in Sag conjunct Jupiter in the 2nd - his values are very important to him and he is very emotional about them - hence his outspokeness about veganism, etc... This is one theory. But I'm no pro astrologer. I'd love to hear others.

Interesting. He definitely looks 'Cancer-ish' if you know what I mean? Do you agree? Like he has a lunar, moon-ish face and cancer-ish eyes. I was surprised initially to find out he wasn't a water sun and wouldn't have guessed Gemini although now that I look at it he does have mercurial qualities and has shown them throughout his career. The aesthetic is very Mercury with the intellectual looking fonts and lyrics that seemed very wordy and into wordplay. I think he is introverted but enjoys and needs connection as well so that could point to Venus in the 8th. One of his lyrics comes to mind ''Tell all my friends, I don't have too many'' He's also very into other cultures (has a big obsession with Mexico and they love him there) and this could point to a well aspected Jupiter or Jupiter in an exalted position. Although I'm not sure and it's just a theory of course. I'll also add that I could definitely see Neptune in the 1st house. He looks very Neptunian and soft and other worldly as well. Yeah good point @ StrandedSaturn.I'd love to hear other ASC theories. But definitely agree the Cancer vibe is obvious. He could be a Cancer ASC w/ Scorpio Moon???
