Your Moon at 21.5° south has been under the pressure of the Saturn-Pluto transit parallel it. This is a difficult transit. The worst anxiety and fears you can imagine can seem to overtake you -- if you let it. Those things don't happen to us because of circumstances, but because of thought patterns we get into based on scenarios that might happen and a gradually diminishing confidence in ourselves that literally follows us to bed each night. Time for cleansing of old emotions and patterns of fear from within yourself. Saturn is also in transit square your natal Mars. This is a period of hard work, but constant checks on your confidence and natural impulses of action. It is best to identify clearly the worst case scenarios you've been entertaining in your thoughts, and your biggest fears -- and deal with those separately, not allowing them to intrude upon the mental space you need for your studies. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

The transit of Neptune is also square your natal Pluto, which is a transit in which it is common to have what could be termed subconscious leakage of suppressed fears or traumas into your dreams and conscious thoughts. Or you may be coming to a slow realization of a conflict between your power as an individual and what it takes to realize your dreams. This is a difficult transit for anyone, but for someone as young as you are, it may require some professional help. I recommend you seek a counselor. You may have to consider Rx medication, but I'd like to know you checked out natural options first, like Flower Essences. Read about the Bach flower essences here to see if at least a couple match what you are feeling: http://www.bachcentre.com/centre/remedies.htm

Thank you! Like im using a 80s+ student but the anxiety that i have been getting recently causes me to overthink. It's so hard to calm myself and I feel like crying. I might talk to my mom about a consular or getting a tutor. I dont know if this makes sense but I have such a repetitive personality where I just overreact, and I can't help but do it.

Keep in mind also though, that test-related anxiety is normal in all cases. I think if anyone said they walked into an examination of any kind whistling a happy tune, they'd be lying. The key is understanding why you're reacting with such extremes. Is it the fear of not knowing what questions are going to be asked on the test? The fear of failing the test? The fear of feeling foolish? The fear of your parents being disappointed in a lower mark? These are all NORMAL feelings for a student and are brought on by a stress-inducing situation. The times I felt most nervous about going into a test is when I felt the most unprepared. The amount you studied will show in your final grade. If you work hard, you will yield a better result. You cannot study for half an hour and then blame "anxiety" for feeling scared about taking the exam. I think younger generations are so quick to blame "anxiety" for EVERYTHING nowadays when in reality it is a very real and very debilitating condition for a lot of folks. It is healthy and normal to feel ANXIOUS as a result of your action/inaction in life without suffering from real anxiety. IP: Logged |

If you are working hard, but your grades keep dropping, then you have probably picked the wrong major. Think about what interests you and how you can turn it into a career. What makes you happy? IP: Logged |

My mum had this at uni and she was fine with essays but had a phobia of exams. Tell a tutor because you might be able to have your results amended to take into account the heightened stress you exp and/or sit your exam in different conditions. IP: Logged |

I don't know if the op experiences to this degree but some people experience an extreme reaction to exams, as in my mums case - who performed well in essays, over-studied actually to try and control her anxiety but developed an irrational fear (I.e outside of her control). i never saw anyone study as hard and she was very private and unforgiving of herself about the anxiety - in fact I think that mindset and tendency to work harder probably contributed to it IP: Logged |

Mine is not that extreme, but i do start to shake. Honestly, this post was just some tips to help me with getting through anything i had right now and just to explain why I might be acting like this through the transit. Clearly this post was blown out of proportion. Not saying that you did it, but my grades are not dropping because of my career choice, and i didn't mean to throw the word anxiety around. I rather just have it deleted at this point. IP: Logged |
