Greetings and love my friends!

Some of you may know, but I had my son, Echo, 2.5 weeks ago on December 1st!

Of course, I couldn't help but look at his chart. He has a 12th house moon in Taurus.

Being that I know that moon represents ME, his mama, I wanted to see what I could gather about any potential negatives about our experience together so that I can be conscious of it and do my best to only manifest certain energies in a POSITIVE way.

I know that there are many ways a 12th house moon can manifest, and of course some are quite negative.

I am curious if the fact that I was in communication with Echo prior to his conception is indicitave of the 12th house connection.

I have been in communcation with him for almost 3 years now. In our early communications he told me his name and his favorite things. I would often get signs from him... I initially had no idea who his father would be, but the day I met his father, I was overcome with a knowing that he would be Echo's father.

We conceived on my birthday, two weeks later.
And yes, he was a boy like I felt and we named him Echo of course.

This is where it all goes south on my reply.

I have moon in the 12 house in Scorpio.

I have no relationship with my mother. She never wanted me and told me all the time, she would always say "your father wanted you" and always said with spite.

She hated me the moment she knew she was pregnant with me. I could feel her hating and loathing me the whole way through her pregnancy, during my birth and the rest of my life.

She was completely emotionally deattached from me. She was so incredibly jealous of me too.

I do not have a single recollection of her holding me, nurturing me, consoling me.

Not a kind word of encouragement was ever uttered from her mouth.

Not one.

When I was a toddler, she would make me stand in front of her and she would cry, telling me how they were all happy until I came along and I ruined everything.

But I was still and open and loving child as all children are. When I hadn't seen my mother for a few hours I would run up to her to hug her, she would have her arms held out and quickly push me away telling me to get away from her!

I would always ask my dad why my mother hated me, and his reply was always the same "I dont know dear".

Everyone saw how much my mother hated me.

She physically, emotionally, psychologically AND sexually abused me.

I was on life support for only 30 mintues when the doctor told my mother, if I live, I would be in a complete vegetative state for the rest of my life, so the doctors recommend she switch of life support. And she did! After 30 minutes!!! Most people leave it at least a few days!! Some even months! I got 30 minutes! Pfft!

I was saved at 14 when I decided to stop being the obedient child and stopped handing my mother the electrical cord for her to whip me with.

At 19 and lived with her again for a few months after my dad died. I injected heroin to cope being in her presence.

Not sure if the drugs are just the 12H moon or the Uranus conjunct Moon in 12th that did that.

She was and is a f u c k i n g b i t c h!

I isolate myself A LOT! I will never allow anyone to ever get close to me again, ever.

I need at least 5 hours of me time a day to be able to cope with the world.

And yes to being extremely intuitive!

And that what is like having a moon in the 12 house.

OMG my heart just broke reading this! I'm so sorry that happened to you...you must be a really strong person after going through something like that.

I like Moon-Jupiter opp. It suggests an open heart. Your relationship with your Son is likely to be strongly communicative and open.

My mother had a son with Moon Taurus near Ascendant.

He was definitely the 'favorite' child of the 4 she had. The dude could do NO wrong. He was a Charmer, AND very popular with women who were older when he got out into the world. They fawned all over him.

Sun 29 Taurus
Moon 13 Scorpio
Asc 24 Scorpio

Dejanira 17 Pisces
Nessus 8 Cancer

They say we choose our parents and our chart for soul growth.

So sorry that this was your experience! sounds like your soul did choose an extraordinarly difficult upbringing bc you were strong and resilient enough to handle it <3 I hope you are able to heal from this trauma and possibly use it for your highest purpose.

The only thing that bothers me is why aren't I a millionaire!?

I'm sure his life will be a lot less traumatic than mine was.

That's just my experience with a moon in 12H. Maybe it was worse as its in Scorpio.

But I would love to hear from others with moon in 12 and what sign it's in.

You can argue you have a wide grand trine between your moon, dejanira and nessus. If you check your declinations and your moon parallels or contraparallels dejanira and or nessus that wide grand trine would definitely count...

First off, I've always found it interesting that the Moon represents the mother, because my mother is a Gemini Sun and I have a Gemini Moon. I'm still trying to figure out how my Moon relates to her otherwise though. My Moon sign is difficult to relate to her and so is my Moon's 8th house position. To me, my Moon placements relate more to me as a mother.

My mother's chart has a bunch of Earth placements and she has a lot of "Fixed" energy. Her chart makes her seem more Earth-influenced and this is what I get from her when I think about her. This isn't to say she has no Gemini qualities, but to be honest, she doesn't have a whole lot of 8th house vibes either. My Moon aspects leave me confused as well. Her chart's dominant features, particularly the overwhelming dominance of Earth, seem to be influencing how I view her more than my Moon sign or the house in which it is placed.

What I'm trying to get at is this placement may not be as bad as it seems on the surface, because he could still grow up thinking of you as a good parent and your chart may balance out the usual 12th house characteristics. As long as your child doesn't feel neglected or unloved, your son will probably have no problems with you as a mother. You did mention you would make any sacrifice needed for your kids and 12th house tends to be a very sacrificing house based on what I've read. Maybe he'll recognize you as a very kind, compassionate, and loving mother. Do you have any placements in Pisces? Any major Neptune aspects? I don't know much about 12th house since the only planet I have there is Pluto and Pluto is close enough to be conjunct my Ascendant.

Overall, the negative manifestations probably won't pop up. My Moon in 8th house has some heavy things associated with it too and none of those things seem to apply to my mother. Maybe your son will grow up thinking the same - that none of the negative 12th house Moon qualities apply to you.
