Hi everyone!I'm a newbie and I have a question:These polar opposites (sun/moon) are called masculine and feminine, solar and lunar, active and receptive,yang and yin.It is super famous!!! WHY cancer isn't the polar opposition of Leo? I think I will never get over it hahahaha IP: Logged |

Yeah I wondered this once, some time ago... I would say that is because what characterize Cancer is not THAT opposite to what characterize Leo sign... Aries and Libra yes, because it's masculine and feminine, and masculine energy and feminine energy attract each other, and are opposite maybe... And opposite signs attract each other...
Aries ruled by Mars and Libra Venus... Same thing for Scorpio and Taurus... Scorpio ruled by Mars and Taurus by Venus... The qualities really opposite to Cancer are in the Capricorn, maybe, and those opposite to the Leo are in Aquarius. I don't know more for now but I hoped it helped. IP: Logged |

Sun & Moon are complimentary, not opposites. As such you need both to complete a task. True opposites don't work together, but have different ways of completing a task.Summary, Sun & Moon are a team. Opposites, are competitors. IP: Logged |

Just z thought about oppositions. I find they complete each other. I am a Cancer Moon and many of my friends are Cappy Moons. They complete me and I do them but I would not want to be married to one because they see things in an opposite way, not a really simpatico way i.e a heart understanding.------------------
