Scorpio MC 29º conjunct Moon and Jupiter-Uranus.
Pluto rules my MC and it's placed in VIII house Libra conjunct Saturn Scorpio both square Aqua Mars in XII house.

Any guide? Haven't found my vocation but I worked as a teacher in the past and I was really happy in those times.

Mariamne Mara

I have a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction too in water--
in later Cancer H8.
Our Jupiter-Uranus's flow with a water trine energy.

Have an 8th House Pluto too --
(mine's a few degrees from 9th House cusp Leo).
Transformers?!!

Your Scorpio Jupiter-Uranus is with your Moon H9 conjunct MC?
{mine is a 9th house Moon Virgo (intercepted) near my MC;
sextiling Jupiter-Uranus H8.}

I have a Scorpio Saturn too.. H11.

H9 is an International house.

I worked on projects, and had opportunities to contribute to things that went 'global' and significantly touched (improved) lives in foreign countries.

Some were in the publishing fields, compiling study guides for a religious school, and work for occult-metaphysical authors, and membership organization.

worked for colleges; theologians (H9)--
organizations (H11)
banks (H8)

Was offered a teaching-fellowship if I'd pursue an upper-level degree for university's Philosophy dept {Sag Rising} -- ((but had to drop out of college, around one semester short of finishing my two separate bachelor degrees--I even had started on upper degree, but credits didn't count without a bachelor.-- never went back as 'life' had other demands of me.))

At another period of time, I had a position working in stock brokerages, and in the banking field. H8 occupation.

I worked on a special floor that handled old 'family' wealth (H8 Cancer, Jupiter)

Wealth(Scorpio) Saturn (old)
That particular boss had the same
Venus Taurus opp Saturn Scorpio aspect, as I did.
I ?think? he had Uranus (and ?Jupiter) Pisces trine my Uranus-Jupiter Cancer.
He was an elderly man.
I'd have to fact-check that.

I mentioned all these things in order to give you a general flavor ....

Thing is, the world is changing.

29+ Scorpio has a Fixed Star there..
The description I have (in my notebook) fits what you said about having enjoyed Teaching.

{quote}

Fixed Star Tolliman
{aka, The Wound In Chiron's Thigh)
..teaching others, expanding their knowledge....
These lessons that you are either giving or receiving will be connected to something 'that has gone wrong' or 'needs repairing'--
either in an individual sense, or a Collective one:

Healing through Knowledge, and through Giving of Information.

star ref Rigel Kentaurus.
{sorry, didn't note the author}

Hope that can add to your sorting out inclinations for vocations.

You know-- The earth, and Society right now, is going through some MASSIVE CHANGES.

If you can't get a read on 'exactly' what you are Called to?.... it could BE that whatever it is that God and the Universe has planned for you, has not been 'opened' or Revealed yet.

Every thing you learn (even if you think it's insignificant) through hobbies, or things you read, will ALL be 'used' in what you eventually Do.

In fact, you can even be 'Doing' some of those things, through the little things you do and did not think were important-- but are part of what you are called to do.

Never belittle whatever you do.
Everything Counts. No matter how mundane.

You are always In-Training!

"Despise-not the day of small-beginnings."
{scripture}

Some jobs, careers... have NOT been Created yet-- innovators are hard at work.

Even World-Events may alter what the world needs more of.

Don't be too distressed...
Keep plucking at it. Keep 'holding space' that "it" WILL come.

For Such A Time As This...

We live in Awesome Times.
(Make A Difference)

Hold on.... Hold on....

Mirage 29,

Wow, whe share a lot of placements!!!!

I agree with you in being transformers, in my case, it's totally true, but, relating the job the career arena?.

I can tell that when I enter a place to work it ends being transformed in a certain way, happens the same with people around me, but not exactly sure what could it mean in terms of professions. We're transformers, that's totally true, what I mean is that this placement (ruler of X placed in VIII being Pluto) is oriented to...transformative issues regarding VIII house matters?.

Tanatopractors, I was really interested in doing this but in my location is nor usual women do that job. Pychologists, sex counselors, doctors, bankers, debris recycling maybe, etc...

I worked in the bank arena, but as secretary which is more related to VI house or Virgo.

The job I loved the most was when I was a language teacher and still searching for that these days as I graduated last June. Fingers crossed.

I'd like to add:

As a MC Scorpio native I should take into consideration Mars as natural ruler of this sign. Mine is at 2º Aquarius 12th house squaring Pluto (Libra)-Saturn (Scorpio) in VIII house .

Have read that hiden places are related to career as laboratories, treasure banks, hospitals, monasterys, even certain kind of hotels.

Change Agents!

Oh. I forgot about Pluto also being a wealth-planet for our 8th Houses!

Been looking at books I have...

Mars in Aquarius--
Freedom Fighter,
Leader of the Pack, "Transformer".
p.248,249
{Lyn Birberkbeck, DIY Astrology}

Alan Oken {c1999},
Houses of the Horoscope
Ibis Press, 2009

Virgo Cusp 8th? .. p.125
.. excerpt
This is a person who does well with other people's financial resources,
and is usually very practical and discerning in this respect.
It is an excellent indication for a bookkeeper, accountant, finance consultant, economist, or waste management controller.

LIBRA Cusp 8th? .. p.125
.. excerpt
As a rule, this sign/cusp contact is very good fro the use of other people's resources.
There is a definite sense of fair play,
and a need to bring about harmony
in all of one's financial dealings,
especially when these involve one's love or business partner.
Death usually comes about without violence,
and often in peaceful surroundings.

Mars in Aquarius H12

{quote} p. 173
The nature of the more hidden facets of our life, and of our orientation to self-healing, or self-undoing, is expressed in the Twelfth House..

{{didn't know what you have on the cusp...}}

?? Capricorn H12 p. 177-178
.. a need to understand the inner structure behind outer events.
This sign/cusp combination indicates a person
who much understands 'who' holds the 'real power' in any social situation.

One is made acutely uncomfortable by the thought that one's personal power or influence may be suppressed by individuals or circumstances beyond one's immediate control.
As a result, this can be a highly manipulative position.

On the other hand,
the Mountain Goat on the 12th
can be
a rich source of hidden wealth and resources.
It may indicate a person who has mastered the art of giving directions and structuring life situations,
to the extent that this skill is available to all who have need of it.

It can point to an individual who has great powers of organization,
so subtle in her execution,
that her influence is barely perceptible.

If the whole of the personality is well-intended,

this characteristic makes for
an accomplished, and devoted teacher,
and a very benevolent leader.

~*~

Aquarius House 12-- p.178
.. an idealistic and humanitarian nature.
This is a person who knows people!
It is a woman to whom no life situation seems strange,
and for whom no one is a stranger.
This person senses clearly the universal stream-of-life running through each-and-every one of us.

This position brings a challenge.
The individual must not get lost in the currents of the Compassionate water she carries.

There is a distinct tendency towards diffusion,
when this sign/cusp combination is present.
So many directions are accessible,
so many possibilities for relationship present themselves,
so many doors through which one may enter {in order to serve} are open,
that it is extraordinarily difficult for this person to choose.

Discernment and discrimination are, therefore, two qualities that may have to be integrated into one's life.

Mars in the 12th House-- p.180
..can be quite secretive---one may obscure one's real motivation for action.
This tendency an give rise to a person who bottles up anger and aggression,
and who is quite reluctant to reveal his or her true intentions.
This person is likely to be passively aggressive, or simply 'unaware' of the urge to manipulate circumstances.

'Hidden enemies' can be a problem.
This is someone who may easily antagonize others,
(without being fully conscious of doing so).

{{The 12th house is where we are 'unconscious' of this. Things that you might only be barely aware you might be doing it or not doing? .. The ideal is to 'catch ourselves' at it. Don't beat self up.}}

On a more positive level, Mars H12 is
a good strategist.

This person can be counted on
to find the resources needed to get himself, or anyone else,
out of a difficult situation.

Your MARS Aquarius
makes conjunctions with
Fixed Stars--
Tarazed, Albireo, and Altair.

From what I've read,
this adds EVEN MORE 'juice' to the effects of the nature of your Mars Aquarius.
Extra strong... plus, drawing in people who get frustrated (and/or maybe even jealous?--) but then knowing that, YOU can handle it. Just be 'aware' that it might happen (and apply understanding, if you choose? LOL).

Alan Oken {c1980, 1988, 2006}
Alan Oken's Complete Astrology
Ibis Press, 2006

Aspects of MARS
Mars-Saturn p.423
Keywords- Personal Drive, Consolidation
square - Challenges
"Frustration"
We can compare the square to hot- and cold-water faucets.
Sometimes there is a great striving,
at other times great tension.
The native seems to find it extremely difficult to find a form into which he may place his energy.

Mars-Pluto p. 424, 425
Key words, Personal Drive, Regeneration
"square" = challenges
"The Annihilator" {{lol}}
.. known to have extremely violent tempers.
They let nothing stand in their way and can be devastating enemies.
In a sense this aspect acts like a bomb,
constantly clearing the way
by wiping out what has already been established.
It therefore becomes rather difficult for a continuum of growth to take place,
as projects, ideas, and energies are usually aborted before reaching fulfillment.

On the positive side,
this aspect can be used as a clearing-house for personality traits and life circumstances which are not longer desirable, providing the individual can modify the intensity which he releases himself.

Alan Oken {c2000}
Rulers of the Horoscope
Ibis Press, 2008

Quote p. 280
Ruler of the Tenth, is in the Eighth
..a powerful position presents itself as the regenerative possibilities in the horoscope come to the region of Career and Public Standing.
If the rulership factors connecting these two houses are well-placed,
especially if the signs Capricorn, Scorpio, Virgo, or Aries are involved,
and,
the rulers of these signs are well-situated in relationship to each other,
then,
there is a great support for worldly success.
As we have seen,
when the 8th House influences in a horoscope are positive,
the possibility for regeneration and added-vitality are present.

A successful man or woman is a person who
can pick him or herself up after a fall,
wisely use the experience of that failure,
and continue on to make an even greater success in life.

A strong and well-aspected 10th House Ruler in the 8th permits a person to do just that.
Naturally, this indication is highlighted
if there is a trine or sextile
between the '10th House ruler in the 8th',
and the natal or natural ruler of that house.

I've included the excerpts themselves, so that you can draw your own conclusions.

And CONGRATULATIONS for graduating with your degree last June. Good-for-You! *fireworks*

{IF you have your chart posted anywhere, please leave me a link to it-- so I can add your chart-image to my file. If not, that's completely okay.}

I'm really glad I was able to fish-out some astrology books I had packed in some storage bins.

Look at the post I just did for Mariamne Mara's chart.

You ALSO have the "Ruler of your 10th/MC in your 8th House."
Read it and see what you think?

Then this...

Alan Oken c1999
Houses of the Horoscope
Ibis Press, 2009
p. 128
quote

Pisces on the 8th Cusp
.. connections to deeper psychological or spiritual issues.
For most people, sexual expression is either a natural release of biological tensions,
a result of the urge to procreate,
or a means to express one's love for another being.
Pisces on the 8th experiences all of these but finds that sexuality is also a route of exploration into deeper and more subtle dynamics of the emotional nature.
When this curiosity is objective, this is a very good sign/cusp compbination for a
psychologist, sexual therapist, or artist.

If taken to extremes,
Pisces on this cusp can give rise to issues of sexual addiction
and the need tolose oneself insexual activity
rather than the discoveryof the more hidden and transcendent facets of one's nature.

This combination is also a good indication for
the renewal of financial resources,
because Pisces is the sign that connects us to the collective bounty of the universe.

Many people with this combination are never at a loss for money, because they are incredibly resourceful
and often are in contact with organizations or individuals who provide powerful support.

Yet it is important to keep in mind the dual nature of this sign and the dark waters and undercurrents of Neptune, planetary ruler of the Fish.

With Pisces on the 8th,
a poorly placed Neptune in the chart
can lead to financial deception and the misuse of one's own and others' resources.

VENUS in 8th.. p. 130
can bestow financial benefits from wills, legacies, and marriage.
It also indicates a person who may be highly skilled at transforming social situations,
evoking greater creative possibilities within the scope of relationships.

On the other hand,
it can show a tendency to have at least on very challenging relationship,
the results of which are extremely transformational in nature.

JUPITER in 8th p.130-131
is an indication of abundant financial benefits coming from inheritance or partnership.

If in poor relationship to the other planets,
Jupiter can also reveal the tendency to squander and waste such good fortune.

This is an individual who is greatly affected by religious and spiritual studies and beliefs.

MERCURY in the 8th.. p.130
indicates a mind that seeks to probe into the depth of things.
This is a "spy mentality," {{LOL!!}}
which tends to uncover the hidden or more profound circumstances of any given situation.
It may also indicate an individual whose thinking has a transformative effect on others.

NEPTUNE in the 5th house.. p.91
can bring about a great deal of self-deception in one's romantic involvements.
If Neptune is poorly placed, there is a tendency to become intimately involved with people who are emotionally unstable and unreliable.
Neputne here can lead to severe losses from gambling
orother forms of addictive pleasures
and may point to having a child/children who suffer form these tendencies.

The more positive indications of Neptune 5th
lead to highly creative interests in the arts,
a deep pleasure in spiritual pursuits,
and a gift for working with people in need of comfort and support.

TAURUS on MC... p.147,148
exerpts...
.. need to be more open to other people's input, if they would achieve greater success.

On the 10th,
this very earthy sign indicates that financial achievement is an import goal;
it wil be a prime consideration in any career choice.
Tenacity, strength of purpose, and determination come with the Bull on the MC
but so does stubbornness and a resistance to change.
Venus, the ruler of this sign, is a positive influence that tends to bring abundance.
Material considerations and personal security may, however, outweigh opportunities to shift careers.

As a result,
one may be stuck in a career that is financially rewarding, but creatively stagnant.

Affairs related to finance, real estate, and fine art.. are perfect avenues of professional expression.

'The father' would typically be supportive and nurturing,
but may tend to impose his values and opinions too strongly on the person's life path.
{{yeppers, You said that!!!! LOL}}

MARS in 10th p. 155
shows drive, determination, and ambition.
Cooperation with others may have to be learned,
for there is a distinct tendency to 'alienate' anyone perceived as standing in the way of one's success.

Conflicts with one's father, and other authority figures, may also be indicated by this position.

Hope that adds more value?

Sweetheart ChildofVenus ...

Only you can really answer that question, by 'trying it on' like a change of clothes.
And remember, it takes Time.
You have to start as a 'beginner', no matter how old you are.
Whatever you take up, it takes time to grow into.
You could suddenly find that you have 'the talent' and this will accelerated your progress... but there are no short-cuts. You have to 'work it'... find out.

Put on the 'feeling' or mentality of these different roles, and walk around with it in your life for a few weeks. Try the different ones.

I read a posting recently of a person who was pursuing one thing... then some of the steps they took INTO that direction 'opened' a whole other talent they had no idea they had. They now have job and mentors in that 'discovered' ability they have.

Hard to predict 'what' or 'where'..

Go online and do the research for yourself.

REALLY REALLY 'dig' into it. OWN it. Take note in yourself... 'How does this feel to me'? Would I like this 5 years from now, 10 years from now?

There will be something inside you that 'witnesses' that 'this is IT.' This is home to me.

You have an extraordinary amount of restlessness in you, background. AND you HAVE your support system (parents, etc.).

Ground the fact that they are there 'for' you and routing 'for' you. You can rest in it.

AND, take that security and try to see if you can get involved in some things, until it 'takes'. Till you find 'the thing' the 'it'.

You know that you will always have their support, and probably too (with Jupiter 8th) you will inherit.

Don't take their generosity for granted.
You HAVE their loyalty.

Now... without feeling like you don't/won't have their support.... Venture Out.

Not just taking your travels....
Make USE of those travelings.
Turn them into investigating the roles you wish to play in the future. Sense and feel it out.

I would not advise prostitution.. that is lower-vibrational, and will keep you inside that awful whirlpool of violence, darkness, lack of real intimacy, and life-diminishing or killing disease, addictions. It is filled with gross lower-grade men / animals who want to just use 'flesh' as a 'meat-thing'. .... That's really gross. It might satisfy 'lusts' but at end of life you'll have nothing-really.

Sex... Intimacy.

Go for Love. Higher Love. Intimacy. Someone who really loves you and will Care with all his being.

If you can... think about it. ... Think about learning how to pray, and develop a kind of spiritual intimacy.

You'll LEARN your self MORE than in any other way... and when you know who you are, you'll find 'the right place', the right calling.

You can have exactly what you want.
Do it 'The Higher Way'....
Develop Good Character.

I have a sense of being proud of you, ChildofVenus.
You Can Do This.

mirage29 - Thanks I understand what you mean. I am finding that I do like the Dental Assisting so far. It's odd because so many people say it's not a "Taurus" thing. And while I do like Massage Therapy. Right now I think the Dental Assisting is a better fit for me. I wouldn't get into prostitution I know nothing good would really come of that. I like travelling because I get to see the world. I know there is more to see than just where I live. There is someone who I enjoy spending time with. Because I feel that they can help me improve myself on an intellectual level. I'm not promiscuous and I don't sleep around. But Sex is something that I enjoy and I feel that it helps me connect with people on an intimate level. But having a lot of 8th house placements I think that's to be expected. I know my parents love and support me I just don't like that they try to control my actions. I have to always sneak or lie whenever I want to travel somewhere. They always have to know every single detail about where I'm going etc. I know they are like this because I'm the only child and they don't want anything to happen to me. But I always do my research before I go anywhere. And I do at least let a friend know where I am.

Excellent!!!

And I Understand everything you said.

hmmm. Taurus MC and being a dental assistant??

Taurus is about 'material' (like teeth, and food we enjoy), and aesthetics (like keeping pretty and CLEAN teeth, free from decay).

Capricorn... c'mon.??? Let's Talk Flossing!!!

This is a craft and 'skill' you CAN take with you all over the world. We ALL need tooth care-- no matter what language or geographic location. Always in demand?

You have other Opportunities you can access WITH that skill.

You could donate some of you time each year in your community,

Teach the value of toothcare, proper hygiene.

Hey~now.
There's nothing "sexier" than a clean mouth, with minty-fresh breath?!!!

You could join-forces with (add your talent to) a service organization planning a mission's trip to do medical work (which includes dental!! ..) on folks in need of care-- whether domestic or foreign.
Join your Heart with theirs. People need you.

DONATE some of your time ...
So many rewards to it. You meet people of ALL kinds. Sooo many opportunities.

I've been able to capture the 'img' images of many people's charts, which I saved to special file folder here.

In order to do a chart on Astrodienst, I sometimes have to delete other charts. (Can't afford a subscription, where they'd let me have more space.)

I placed your info on a sticky-note, and put it in my Transits book.
(I have a bad head-cold right now...

Thank you, MM.

ChildofVenus...
Go with what "feels" right to you.
Forget trying to 'match' your chart to it.

I didn't get into astrology until after I was 50 years old. Everything that I got into, not 'knowing' my chart, was reflected in the chart later.

Go with your 'instincts'.
I found later too, that asteroids were meaningful in different ways.

You need to ground yourself in something right now. Been to some online conferences. What I hear is that from Jan to March this year is the time for planting 'seeds' of ideas, and taking ONE step (in reality) towards materializing what it is.

Later in the fall, will be a time to 'cull'... where you decide what ideas to drop because you find what it is you flow in. (my wide paraphrase)

You've already been taking massage training?

That's another skill you can 'take with you' wherever you go.

Take some entrepreneur classes too.

Learn how to set up your own massage business, the insurances you will need being a masseuse, and handling clientele. Learning in self-defense classes.

Consider the different places where people are body-oriented, and start hanging out there. Gyms, Natural Foods places.

Go observe physical therapy sessions, go to a nursing home and check out the needs there. I'm sure foot massages or hand massage could feel good to these. Shoulders, neck.

Take up training in maybe Reiki or Chakra Balancing only-IF that appeals to you. Can distinguish you even more and 'add' to your service-potentials.

Take classes in essential oils? Stones?

Again.... Don't forget to 'volunteer' some of you time, and talents, out in the community. It's a great way to become more 'known'.

People will learn who you are, and pass on some business to you, OR, allow you to leave business cards there and promote you?

Have you checked out the youtubes available on massage?

It takes a while to establish a 'practice'.
Slow and sure wins the race.

Stuck?????

ChildofVenus, you gotta adjust yourself with that word!

Devote your whole Heart, your WHOLE effort into it. 'Fall in Love' with it-- for at least a year.

If you walk into those classes like your dragging brick pallettes behind you, it won't be giving this course and path a 'fair' shake.

You gotta luvvvvvv Dental Assisting, all-the-way-Love it!!!

Go in there with that luv attitude.
Fake it till you make it?

In the meantime.... You'll start making more-serious money for yourself. That should feel 'excellent', yes?

In the long run, you'll really sure-up who you are.

Believe it will work. Commit your whole heart to it.

If/since it 'lines up with your chart' (as you've been playing with that a long time, right?), then you may see this flourish. But go in with a flabby attitude towards it? .. well, that's counter-productive.

Be HAPPY to be 'stuck' with it! yay yay

Without having read the entire thread... The 8tb house is the house of the OPM principle, as in other people's money. It's the corollary to the 2nd house, the house of security (as in "don't touch my stuff").

8th houses do well as money managers, tax accountants, etc. But you can expand it to computer consultants (other people's data), law and private dectectives (other people's secrets), psychologist or astrologer (other people's thoughts/feelings) and so on.
