Hello, I would like to know what exactly this degree means ?? I think it's like nothingness, emptiness, I think because I've got a planet in 0 degree... Or it could be spiritual ? (I read that 0 relates to God) ? Or what else could it be ? If you've got a planet in degree 0, how to you experience it ? IP: Logged |

I don't have a 0 degree planet, but I do have a 29. Saturn is at 29degree Leo. Its square my ASC at 28 Scorpio. So I actually do feel it.I feel a lot of heaviness and restriction, but it's self imposed. Combined with the rest of my chart (I have a Cap moon and personal planets in Virgo) it just seems to emphasize the need to be structured and serious about life in general. I know you asked about 0 and this is not that, but I think my perspective is that if 29 is critical, like "urgent, deal with me now" ((which is how my Saturn feels!)), then I would think 0 might feel fresh and open and new. And then how you are geared or equipped to handle that would color what it means or how it acts in your chart. Are you ok with freedom and openness? Like no boundaries, wide open road? It's funny because I feel like my Saturn at 29 (and the rest of my chart set up to handle this) makes me thrive on pressure and structure and the urgent need to accomplish "something." And the thought of an open road with no boundaries feels a little suffocating, like I would not know how to focus! IP: Logged |

Yes you're right about the "fresh, new" : after posting this topic I read on a website that 0 degree is about new start in this life (for example Venus is a new start in love, after an end of a cycle of incarnations)... And degree 29 is having great experience... I think it's very interesting, I didn't think about this new start thing before reading it, well I thought about this I think, but not relating to past lives.
I've got a planet in degree 29 too, Venus... And Jupiter in degree 0... Your Saturn in 29 degree in Leo, as Saturn relates to experience, maturity, it surely means you have much experience and maturity from past lives (experience relating to the Leo sign)... IP: Logged |

I think the 0 degree ushers in a new /fresh energy and could signify a new beginning.When we had our first major move transiting Uranus in Aqua 0 opposite progressed Moon 0 Leo. Transiting Pluto 0 Sag conjunct progressed Venus 0 Sag. IP: Logged |

Wow! You're full of beginnings and endings. It has to signify something for you in this life, I think. I didn't think about my 29 degree Saturn bringing wisdom from past lives, but that makes sense. I am young (ish) but have always joked and been teased about my "geriatric" habits and tendencies. 29 degree venus- do you feel you have wisdom in love and matters of beauty? Or is this urgency? I posted in another thread that my daughter's ASC is 0 degrees Virgo. I feel like for her this is new territory and she's learning to transition to this new regimented way of being as opposed to something wild and free and untamed as Leo. IP: Logged |

Yes and my Mercury is at degree 28 (but not 29... So maybe it doesn't mean anything)...
I haven't much experience in love actually. And in past lives I think I had more arranged marriages (according to what my psychic said, but maybe she didn't told me about love relationships and love marriages I had). But maybe I have some maturity in love and in my values, I don't know. And my Venus is in Capricorn conjunct Saturn so it's supposed to be even more mature.

Maybe you had been through hard things in past lifes and so you learnt things, it made you grow… I saw your topic on your daughter’s ASC in 0 degree but it’s not sure it’s in 0 degree, is it ? Is her hour of birth accurate ? Actually when a planet is at 0 degree (for example Mars at this moment, or sometimes the Moon) I feel like a nothingness, I don’t feel fit, for example when the Moon is at 0 degree I don’t even really want to listen to music. Then I see that a planet is at 0 degree and I then I think it’s for this reason. I’m going to try to think what the 0 degree means. IP: Logged |

I can feel this in Jupiter. Feels like Jupiter and the sign it’s in takes over most of my life for long periods of time when it’s not actually a personal planet. Zero degrees is meant express the energy of the new sign (and house) that’s it’s in. Can be a bit reckless and extreme. Not sure how uncommon or common it is. Found an interesting article on the British Monarchs as it seems to be in most of the ruling (or future) monarchs

and also a 'transition' degree.
Can also be called "30 degrees" of previous sign, depending on motion in astrology. Poetically, metaphorically---
0 is like a newborn-baby, taking its first breaths, opening its eyes, still all wet-behind-the-ears, but having been BORN afresh into the new world. Formality comes with the cord officially cutting it away from its mother, at 1.00-degree? At 0 (zero).. you've arrived, and there's no going back into the birth canal or the womb. All Eyes... are on it, Celebrating! "0" 0 is called a World Degree, in every sign...
especially powerful in Cardinal (season starting) signs (aries, cancer, libra, Capricorn).
Gets special attention paid to it-- in a spotlight, placed on a platform that can be experienced and connected in 'global' attention, world-wide stage. Jupiter (or a planet) 0 Aries.

When a planet is in the first degree of a sign it is at least something of a new start related to that particular energy, entry into a new mode of expression. ------------------
