I have been meaning to write about this for a while. But couldn't find the time really.

I think its amazing sometimes the synchronicity the birth chart has with real life.

Sun/Neptune conjunction is the closest aspect in my chart orb 00'05 close to exact.

When we look at interpretations of Sun-Neptune aspects from astrofix.net:

"An absent father. A father with drug or alcohol issues. A father who avoids responsibility. A father who is a musician or actor. A father involved with spirituality or mysticism. Idealists."

Now i have had issues with my Dad. And this excerpt above fit him perfectly.

But now listen to this.

In 2016 August 16, my Mom nervously told me that the man whom I knew as my father. Is not my father.

The backstory here is filled with drama and intrigue. And not where I want to really go as its a really looooong story.

But is it coincidence that this aspect is the closest in my chart?

On the day of the news;

Trans Sun conj progressed Ic in Leo
Solar Arc Moon conj trans Sun
Solar Arc Moon trine trans Uranus
Uranus @ 24 Deg conj Asc by 4 degrees.
Uranus parallel Asc
Pluto parallel Mc
Pluto conj Merc orb 2 degrees

My biological father;

He had trans Uranus conj progressed Sun when we met
His Natal Sun opp my solar Arc Moon.
His natal Moon conjuncts my natal Sun
My progressed Sun conjunct his natal Venus

What do you guys think?

This sounds vaguely what Eddie Vedder went through with his father, I recommend listening to "Alive" by Pearl Jam.

I have Sun conjunct Neptune, and I cannot exactly relate to all of that. However, I do think your situation can be attributed to Neptune. Neptune likes to shroud things in illusion and confusion.

Thanks. Looked up the song and lyrics. The story is awful.

In my case, my mother said that she had been mistaken. That investigations started about 17 years ago when I was still in high school.

My father is Aquarius Sun/Moon in Cap. Totally mysterious chart to look at as I was looking for conjunctions and I did find his Moon to my Sun.

Cap 1 Degree keeps popping up.

My mothers Progressed Sun was Cap 1 degree when I was born.

Her progressed Sun was conjunct transiting Neptune.

Her progressed Moon in Pisces 10 deg at the time exactly square trans Sag Uranus 10 Deg

Her Saturn 18 Cap at the time squared transiting Mars 18 Lib.

Solar Arc Pluto at the time was square her progressed Sun.

Interesting.

I grew up part of a group of three: two Gemini, one Sag. All have Neptune in Sag.

The two Geminis had physically absent dads. The Sag grew up in a traditional nuclear family.

Recently, through the grapevine, Sag'd dad was questioning his paternity in an argument with her mom/ his wife. The Gems and Sag are now in their mid 30s.

I agree with you. The birth chart's synchronicity with real life is quite interesting. Synchronicity can also be shown through transits as well. I'm a bit hesitant to go into my own experiences with synchronicity through astrology simply because there are so many details involved in what I've experienced.

I myself am in my mid 30's and unbeknownst to me, my Dad had dreams early in my childhood of calling out my name. And then I walking over to a man that he didn't recognize.

He told my mother at the time, that he is certain that that is my real father. But they dismissed this dream as the years passed on.

I think if he were to suddenly insist on paternity tests, it would be a whole mess. And nothing would be the same ever again.

@Lerena

That is fine. I understand.

Furthermore my 5th house ruler is the Sun. And Neptune conjunct the 5th house ruler has similar tones to Neptune in 5th

The interpretation of Neptune in 5th;

Neptune in the 5th house can create secrecy around the native’s children. If he is a man, he may have a child and not knowing about it, while if she is a woman, things can get even more complicated. She could be unsure about who is the father, or the biological father could be different than her spouse.

https://theastrocodex.com

Perhaps Mom has Leo/Virgo rising. And the Neptune in Sag transit in her 5th had her confused about whom the father of her child is?

I have Sun conjunct Horus square Neptune and opposite Moon forming a tsquare with Neptune at the apex on the Galactic Center. My parents are very spiritual.

Interesting Aries, it makes sense Neptune is involved I agree.

WOW. That was a powerful dream.

I someone who also had an absentee father, but she has Neptune around the MC. There were no men at all living in the home she grew up in. She has Pisces Asc.

There is a strong "other worldly" thing with black families in South Africa.

There are numerous stories of people being 'visited' by those who've passed or a legendary snake(yes you heard that right) showing up to be in and around the baby that may bring up the issue of paternity/bloodline if intended to be hidden.

It is believed that when a child is sickly with something that boggles western medicine, the maternal family must bring the child to the paternal parents and after ancestral praises and songs are sung, the mysterious illness goes away.

This has happened with so many children its just unbelievable.

In other cases, certain clans are associated with animals like the great serpent "majola" or bees.

So a child who is born into a clan-no matter where thet are in the world, the great serpent Majola visits the child, plays with it and then leaves the child unharmed.

Dogs do not attack the snakes, nor do Eagles or any other animals. It stays for as long as it wants and then leaves voluntarily. And you are not allowed to kill it as it is believed you will go mad.

There is even a tv series that was based on this. So when the serpent visits, nobody interferes.

Apparently the snake appeared during my time in initiation school. My father says they sung it praises and then it left.

It confused the family greatly because to our knowledge, our clan is not related to the great serpent.

But now in retrospect, perhaps it was right in being there-given what I now know. And my earlier sickness as an infant weeks after birth, was an indication of my paternal uncertainty?

I could go on. But suffice it to say that bloodlines and clan association therein, is very important in South Africa.
