Sun/Mercury/Mars/Jupiter in the 9th house Ascendant/Sun/Mercury in Sagittarius Jupiter in the 3rd house Mercury aspected by Jupiter 3rd/9th house cusp in Sagittarius 3rd house ruler in the 9th house or the other way round I may add something to the list. Although, I understand what I read and hear in English, Portuguese, Italian, French and German. Spanish is my first language. I've never been in any other country. Right now “I'm studying“ , I have a German test tomorrow. I'm nervous . I don't have any of these'. I have Jupiter in Sagittarius square Sun in Pisces and Saturn. Sextile Venus/MC, trine Mars (I think my dominant planets are Venus and Mars because I have Venus conj. MC exact and Mars opposite MC). Neptune and Uranus in 9th house. IP: Logged

And I think this aspect makes people be good at learning languages. Or maybe Moon aspected to Jupiter in general (good / bad aspects) has different native languages. Otherwise, Jupiter in first house is good at learning languages maybe... Maybe Talent in Sagittarius or in 9th house planets in Gemini IP: Logged

Saturn and pluto because,structure and being able to detect nuances and structure. Uranus, makes the mind easy to adapt and process new information. Virgo and Gemini, mercury ruled. (well virgo is chiron ruled in my opinion, also chiron is about knowledge). Gemini is very good at dialects and imitation, also good at snapping up the different nuances. I speak 4 languages and a 5th I can read and write in and understand about 60-70% of it. I have Virgo Asc, Mercury and Sun in 9th house. Chiron (the virgo ruler in my opinion) in Gemini and a Gemni stellium in 10th house. Mercury is aspected by: Uranus, Saturn, Sun and Neptune and also Opposite Scorpio Pluto in 3rd house. Jupiter in 8th inconjunct Plut in 3rd house. IP: Logged

Maybe Jupiter square Saturn has something to do with this as well? - Jupiter touching my dominant planets: sextile Venus(and MC), trine Mars orb: 0 °. - Uranus and Neptune in 9th house. - Juno/Vertex in Sagittarius maybe? Mostly because I've always wanted to marry a foreign man, lol. - Moon in 3rd house. Opposite Uranus and Neptune in 9th house. - Mercury Quintile Jupiter! I almost forgot about that aspect. I have Mercury in Aquarius, 10th house. - Ruler of 10th (Mercury/Venus in Aquarius) in 9th? - Rulef of 3rd in 3rd? - Ruler of 8th in 8th? JupiteR/Sagittarius. I live in an area with a lot of Hispanics, and as a result have been learning Spanish this year, and as a result have dabbled in the other Latin languages a little as well, like French, Italian, and Portuguese. I'm not fluent yet, but around halfway there, and can do a decent job reading articles on certain topics, such as astrology (words in pretty much all the intellectual subjects are similar in English and Spanish, known as cognates... around 50% of the words are the same or similar in both languages). I know all the cognates and the regular every day words and household items, but am still working on putting it all in sentences and verb conjugation (I can pronounce fairly well). Also, when I was a little kid, I was fascinated by Chinese and Japanese characters (the designs are VERY interesting) and how many of them looked exact (in the last month or so I found out that the characters shared in both languages often mean the same thing as well). None of it has been from lessons, but from Google Translate! One of the Mexican families I'm neighbors with speaks very little English and has been teaching their kids the English they know before they start school, so I'm planning on surprising them with a custom Spanish/English dictionary to help them as a Christmas present (making sure it's the Mexican Spanish is the trickiest part, as some of the words are different in Spain, South America, and Central America, just like how American English and British English have slight differences). Virgo rising, Sun, Mercury and Venus in Gemini, Sun and Jupiter in 9th house. This year's Solar Return features Moon in Sagittarius on SR ascendant in natal 3rd house, SR Mercury in natal 9th house, and North Node in SR 9th house. My Mercury and Ascendant are in Sagittarius with Mercury in the 1st house. My moon is in the 3rd house in Pisces, and it's ruler Neptune is in my first house in Capricorn conjunct Uranus. My 9th house is in Leo and there's no planets there, but my Sun in Capricorn is in the 1st house and Sextiles my 3rd house moon exactly so maybe that has an influence on my ability to communicate. When I'm learning a language the first thing I notice are the rhythms or tempo of how natives speak, and I also notice patterns of how vowels or vowels sounds form in words. Hope that helps! I grew up speaking Cape Verdean Creole (Portuguese based) but lost a lot of my abilities because I always responded in English. I think this was after I quickly advanced out of the foreign classes in elementary school. This in turn helped my father get the practice for becoming a better English speaker. I'm currently learning Japanese but might also learn Portuguese since that's the closest to my first language on Duolingo. I also want to relearn some French. I can't stop! squirrel Knowflake Posts: 155 From: Europe Registered: Jul 2009	posted November 01, 2018 01:56 PM i speak three languages, i’m also a professional translator/interpreter. i have none of those, but i have mercury in virgo, although retrograde, squared by neptune and combust but in virgo nevertheless in the 10th, sextile uranus and trine moon in taurus. ruler of the 3rd is saturn in leo conjunct midheaven. only my venus is in the 9th in leo, jupiter is in the 8th in cancer (conjunct mars, the chart ruler). so jupiter is not that dominant or sagg in my natal chart, but rather uranus in scorpio (conjunct asc) and of course, virgo.
