I've been trying to analyze a chart that belongs to someone who I have yet to see clearly. His Neptune is in my 12th, but only squares my Mercury. Yet, to this day, I CANNOT see this man for who he truly is. Looking at his chart, I see gifts and strong abilities. Yet the truth that I am uncovering is pretty ugly. Can you see what I do not? It would probably help to de-clutter the chart of fixed starts, asteroids, etc, and make it more basic. That should help clarify things a bit.Moon conjunct Mercury, and Mercury contra-parallel Mars are the tightest aspects I can see in his chart. How do you see those in him? ------------------

He fits the Moon conjunct Mercury personality. He is more Gem Moon like than Cancer Moon in that he prefers lighthearted topics, nothing too deep or heavy. He's very charming and loves talking to people. He is a good listener of sorts, but he will shut down and tune out if it gets to be too heavy. But it's all about charm. He does have Cancer Moon aspects too. He has emotional depth, but he doesn't want to feel it. (Mercury aspect. He compartmentalizes and puts things away in boxes.) He's moody and leans to depression. He plays the victim, always. He's very sensitive to perceived hurts, and carries it with him for a long time. He's very manipulative. (That doesn't come necessarily from the Cancer Moon. I actually don't know where that comes from... 10th house Lilith conjunct Moon and Mercury? He's very good at emotional manipulation.) On the positive side, he is (or used to be) focused on family and has/had compassion for children and wants to nurture others. It's self serving really, but it seems nice on surface level. Mercury opposite Mars (the equal to contraparallel), to me, means actions not in alignment with thought and expression. For him, I suppose this could lead to me feeling deceived? He says one thing and then does another? That was definitely his MO. He would say whatever he needed to say at the time, but continues to do whatever he feels like doing behind the other person's back.
But there's a lot of Neptunian stuff with him, and yet Neptune trines his Sun and sextiles his Jupiter. No squares, no oppositions. There's so much deception, lies... and not limited to me. After I realized who he was, friends and acquaintances of ours came out of the woodwork and confirmed negative things about him I never saw. Four and a half years later, it's still happening. What is this?

Could the negative stuff be from having Pluto in the 12th house? I’ve read from somewhere here on LL before that the 12th house shows who you are with yourself when you are alone, the side of yourself you don’t want anyone to know.Also, the manipulative part might come from having Libra ascendant. I find Libra placements to be quite manipulative but in a very lowkey discreet way. They’re so nice that you don’t even expect it. He might also not like heavy topics due to this air ascendant. I have Gemini ascendant (air) and Cancer moon too. Talking about feelings makes me feel uncomfortable despite having a 1st house Moon (I notice his is in the 10th). Sagittarius also rules his 3rd house of communication. I doubt that would indicate a person who wants downer talk at all. I feel that air ascendants in general would like to keep things lighthearted unless they are close enough to you to truly open up. This is also another reason not to judge, but to understand. ...unless he really IS THAT psychotic. IP: Logged |

Interesting! I'll have to look in to that 12th house Pluto. I understand the air thing. That makes sense and my daughter is all kinds of Air and she's like that. But he's dark and manipulative. He went from being the prom king personality, the person who charms everyone and is a wonderful human being, to being a horrible, narcissistic, manipulative emotional and mental abuser. Maybe his Pluto can't be contained by the 12th house anymore? Uranus in 12th is associated with mental institutions and confinement... he checked himself in a few times to the hospital for depression. Even that was for show more than it was anything else. He was building a case for disability. I have heard the most bizarre and off the wall rumors about him over the years. They have come from the craziest sources. I never gave them credence except that I have now had six different sources tell me something degrading to his character in four years. It's bizarre, and while I never believed them in the beginning, I now feel I am hearing these for a reason. The man is not a good man, not at all. There is a lot of hatred inside him. IP: Logged |

Yes, lower path is a good descriptionI see Pluto opp north node...this can indicate issues brought forward from a former life. *Power and the abuse of power were major themes in your past lives. These issues live on for you. There are times when darkness pervades your memories, terrible events that you can't quite recall*

Thank you! He's definitely got a dark side. I find it very interesting that in a relatively easy chart, which would indicate blessings from former lives, that he could also have such a dark past coming through from a past life to this one. I also was thinking he has a lot of Cancer overwhelming him. He's full of water and figuratively "drowning" in his life. He can't seem to come up for air, to catch hold of anything. There's not much earth to ground him. He needs an Earth partner to ground him. Which would explain how post divorce he is spiraling out of control. IP: Logged |
