But what do you guys think this really means? Are there some descendent signs that handle certain planets better than others?

Like say you were a Leo Ascendent and someone had their Uranus on your descending Aquarius. I feel like synastry forums write very vague things to avoid looking foolish and for that reason Astrology has struggled to advance.

The Dsc is that house that deals with relationships that are more contractual/binding or collaborative in essence.

People representing the 7th house tend to be mirrors for you. And the closer they are to represent the essence of the energy there, the more impact they have on you (for good or ill).

Close friends that shape you,the parent with the most influence,the sibling with the most influence, the partner that you just can't forget about etc. are such people.

And not all of them are people you love to be around(especially if Neptune,Pluto, Saturn or Mars are there).

Others could have impacted you negatively, but their memory is etched on to you to such an extent that you get angry or reference them on what NEVER to do again etc.

If Aries/Mars is on the cusp of the 7th, people who have the most impact on you are the Aries/Mars types. They are fierce people that came on you like a fireball.

In synastry, someones Mars falling in your 7th house can go either good/bad. And sometimes it can be hard to tell whether there is tension or chemistry?

The Mars person who falls in the other's 7th house is the fire-starter,the one who challenges,encourages,excites,dares,pushes, leads,initiates the relationship.

It could start spontaneously and progress very quickly into a friendship/attraction but with lots of hiccups.
