I'm afraid to be in an intimate relationship.

The 8th is an unpredictable house. Things that are unknown and mysterious. A house of emotional extremes and upheavals. Things that take us out of our comfort zones.12th house is the point of "mergence" . The bypassing of independence and finding completion by being bonded with another. Saturn are things that take time. Things that we take seriously and want to "get right" and are often extremely self critical of because we are certain that others are judging by those standards too. Saturn in 8th seeks to control/stabilize the things of the 8th house or at least minimize their unpredictable nature. -control the level of intimacy so that it does not go over to co-dependency. You don't ever want to admit you "need" anyone -control not only when to have sex but how to have it. Even controling the orgasm. -Avoiding things that pump the adrenalin and prolong stable feelings i.e averse to thrill seeking ventures and the like. -Feeling pressure to master control over ones sexual inclinations . Control/restraint with sexuality expression is better than indulgence. Ironically however, I find Saturn in 8th the most sexual position of all. Beating out Pluto and Mars in 8th. Because so much time is spent trying to properly control/organize the 8th house issues, that the individual ends up becoming an expert on them. Saturn in 8th also suggests that life is prolonged because one avoids risk. They avoid the unpredictable(accident). And die because of the slow aging of the body. IP: Logged |

Thanks a lot Iridia.I have saturn in 8th house and I'm trying to figure out my own fears.I don't have most from your list but maybe they ain't on the surface,that happens.I hope you overcome yours  What I noticed is that usually I don't get things from others because I don't let them share anything with me.I don't ask for anything either hahahha Please don't quote

Thanks a lot Aries I really like to hear your thoughts,you have a very open mind.I like to control,yes.I don't to like control people but my own stuff like you have said.I hate to be controlled.I'm like a bull if I feel someone is trying to control me. quote:

That's so true.I also have problems to give and receive.I feel sorry to take things from others especially when they don't have much.

Saturn in the 8th can show the need to learn to be responsible with its issues. For example taking responsibility that what you do can affect the other when you form an untimate relationship with them. While healthy independency is important, we can’t simply assume that we are free to do anything as we are responsible of the other person’s emotional needs to a degree.For example, you are not responsible for the other person’s happiness in life, but as a partner you have to learn to provide emotional support and bonding. To compromise and try to understand the other. Maybe 8th house in Saturn can lead to situations where they might be asked to learn to understand and care for the other emotional needs. Maybe they have a hard time and it makes them afraid to deal with other person’s needs because they can’t get it yet. Maybe they are afraid to be vulnerable too and let the other person take care of them. IP: Logged |

Love this! I would also add fear of the unknown or unpredictability moreso. I heard somewhere that Saturn in H8 are the people who bring matters from the dark into the light. They dig until everything is exposed. Like forensics, psychologists, mine workers etc.

Empty Spaces I love the way you put that...I think I get Saturn Uranus and Neptune transits confused the most because they all seemed to have similar affects in my life. I don't know,honestly.I talked with some other people here months ago and they believed that saturn transits could raise obsessions which I agree cuz that happened to me once. I had Tsaturn squaring my venus,well libra rules my 5th house and suddenly I had this deep desire to be have a child.I was very obsessed with this idea and I didn't have a boyfriend lolNow I have Tsaturn conjuncting my mercury (1st house ruler) but I don't see any effects?Some think this could be negativity but I'm feeling positive and ready to start my life from scratch.It seems a different effect every time. I think saturn transits could represent a time when you become more grouded.Maybe it solidify an idea into you head too.

You might not feel the affects this time since saturn is home in capricorn... I think it's being nicer to most of us this time around. Hopefully!!When Saturn was directly in my 7th last year I was obsessed with being in a relationship. Didn't get one but I was always thinking about one. It's still in my 7th so I'm still like this. But my impeding Saturn in 8th is making me very stressed out over money matters... IP: Logged |
