I personally resonated with this part:
"Natural Plutonians can be initiated out of the ashes of childhood abuse, death in the family or some other personal tragedy that broke off a part of the soul early, prematurely killed or warped the innocence. Others are simply to the manor borne; somebody has to staff all those hospices and strip joints, run the casinos, manage shelters for battered women, prepare the dead for burial. For many of us, where Pluto is in the natal horoscope chart is where the individual wants something really, really badly to the point of behaving badly to get it; but this thing is located exactly were others will control you the most, and make what you really, really want unavailable without a lot of strings attached. Some do end up surrendering to a source of genius located far past common consciousness, performing at a level larger than life, the products of their endeavors transforming on a mass scale".

I have "behaved badly" for the things I really, really wanted and it's gotten me in a lot of trouble through the years but ironically, what I have wanted really badly IS my savior, as long as I don't mistreat it and that is MONEY!

I have Libra Pluto 2H and I want money but when I was young I wanted money because well, one can buy things. Now I know I need money because I can no longer let myself end up in positions where others control me with THEIR money! And I have been there and it's a very ugly place..

My dear sweet Scorpio mother (Sun, Moon, Mercury) once upon a time told me quote:

"I wish for you to NOT end up like me. You need to be finacially stable and not let people take advantage of you like your father did of me".

Now I know what she meant and my heart aches for her.

Charlie! That's a Powerful Post.

I hear your concern.

RE the url...
I have spent quality time at her site. Did some digging through her materials a while ago.
{{I sooo appreciate those who have worked so hard, posted their work, and let us rummage through their sites like hungry children. May these who Provide, find Great Rewards in the Spirit realms-- not just for Later, but that they find themselves showered with Blessings-- even now! while they live. May Every Need be Fulfilled in their lives.}}
Did you know she is still living, and aged 94 or 95 years old?
I wrote a short email to thank her for interesting insights she gave in an article, not expecting a response.
.. She ACTUALLY personally sent me a note back! *Love*
I was sooo delighted and tickled that she took personal time (at her age) to respond.

As your title says, she IS an interesting read.

So ugh.....

Charlie! ... *hugs*

What your Scorpio Mom said seemed so raw and real. Also, it is an incredibly important wise message. And you relay that you understand it as such.

Every Woman NEEDS Economic Self-Sufficiency, throughout her Lifetime.

Even in a married relationship-- SHE needs to have assurance, AND compensation IF she's a stay-at-home mom {or dad}.

Yes, some women from older traditional approaches, (OR even the stricter religious-modern traditionalists of today), might not have it in their minds that their male partners could ever turn "abusive," or even betray, strip the resources, and abandon his family.

An older-style traditional woman, "without" access to a generous solid stash of "mad-money" .. (and without having explored her individual self, knowing how to identify her skillsets and Talents, so she can move-on with her life).. crimps the 'freedom' for her to be able to leave a 'bad situation.'

Your mom seems to have given up?

A woman without her own funds, OR a support system, could find herself 'stuck' (even in peril) IF the relationship is not healthy, or safe.

{{I briefly saw the post you did in SP about you having to watch your Mom dealing with an abusive spouse.}}

I think I realize how upsetting that must be to you. Truly a helpless feeling to watch someone you love (even admire) have to endure that kind of treatment.

And if your own sense of Worth and Self-Esteem is wobbly, it could trigger you, as you empathize with her.

Maybe even concerned that you would want your OWN finances in order, for you to 'be there' for her, in case.

As far as your H2 Libra Pluto is concerned?
Is Pluto making any aspects to Venus in your chart?

quoting/paraphrasing
p.54
H2 Libra ... likes to share.
At the very least, one's attitude is,
"You give me something of value and I will return something of equal value to you."

Money can often be acquired through the expression of one's artistic nature.
Libra H2 has a way with people,
'which may attract positive financial opportunities'.

When the Scales(Libra) are "unbalanced", .. this sign/cusp combination may indicate life could be like a see-saw,
with financial swings and many ups and downs.

p.59
PLUTO
can act as a mine,
filled with deep veins of gold or other precious substances. {wealth}
It is an incredible 'regenerator of resources'
and certainly aids in the 'recuperation process' after any form of loss.

This is so when Pluto is well-positioned...
{author goes on to say that this position}
can be known to create a very profound lack of self-worth.

PEOPLE p.60,
associated with this house are
* Friends of the Family
* Bankers and financial advisors
* Landowners.

If you're having self-worth problems, you might want to get support for that?

What a Woman sees and feels about herself, rehearsing it in her head and heart,
can have an impact on her money.

Even the choice of partners, or friends and associations, can affect her own outcomes.

You are already coupled? ..

Keep a reign, monitor, ("balance"), on how your feelings of self-worth are doing. Make a plan to fortify that part of your life, if this seems to be an issue?

Discuss this with your partner, a BFF,
or even a counselor (IF there are good ones available--
don't let any rip into your sense of self-esteem, without good skills;
not all counselors are a right 'fit', or have good personalities for what "YOU" need).

Charlie, ...
How close are you to your Pluto square Pluto transit?

If you have a Pluto Libra, the tPluto travelling through Capricorn must be applying to your planet, or, you could be in the 'Recovery' stages and wakes after it has passed by?

Sometimes, it can take a while for you to really understand transits that slowly come into and out of your life.

I'm looking at my Planets in Transit by Robert Hand. p.517-518.

It's really not as nightmarish as some would imagine it (though, not a picnic in the park)? There are some good things that can come out of that transit if you follow the guidance.. and recognize as it happens.

Stay Forward.

If you needed it, consider sessions with a counseling-skilled astrologer.

I know a one you can try to contact--
She says that if she is not available, she has personally-trained professionals who work for her.
These have psych-training, as well as astrological.

I think there's a man who's a trained counselor and astrologer and associated with her. {not sure}

If you'd like their names I could leave it?

{I recommend this book to ALL students of astrology.
Definitely get this one for your shelf.
Even if you would never read it for astrology,
and you're interested in self-development and self-improvement,
the Wisdom contained in it is awesome.}

Take Care

And Keep a Positive Eye towards your Future.

"There's Gotta Be A Way... and I'm Gonna Find It!"

Believe! ...
for your sake, and for that of your precious Momma.

Attract.. with the Positive side of Pluto which is available to you, energetically.
Don't let a low-self worth trip you. Recognize it as much as you can, then-- you have part of that battle won.

Recognizing... is necessary, for the Next Step to occur.

Be Strong **{{big strength-giving hug}}**

Mirage, Tpluto have some degrees left before making a square to itself and being conjunct my Cap Moon 5H but I can feel something...like a "dawning"

It struck me yesterday that ALL the **** I have put myself through has been for the sole reason of being financially stable and SELF RELIANT but it all turned to a drug and sex feast instead where I completely lost myself in the chase for money.
Pluto was working subconsciously and I had no access, at the time, for the clarity I needed. I just knew I needed money. Now it just seems SO clear and almost ridiculously easy but I have gone through hell (this might be progressed Pluto 1H talking..) to get here.

Pluto is making no aspects to Venus in my chart but my husband has Venus/Asc op Pluto and it's a placement I don't like.

Anyway, I really resonated with her writings becasue she made them accessible and not overly pretentious which some authors like to be.

I have pluto conjunct Libra in my 1st house, from what I was told from therapy is that I lacked a lot of nurturing growing up and not sure how to ask for it from others. She also told me I have a really strong reaction to rejection, I'm intellectual, extroverted and I get bored really really easy.

As far as growing up, family hell is the best way to put it. I love my family but it was very chaotic and dysfunctional. I went threw things any kid should never have to go threw. I hope to one day get my psychology degree to work with kids who grew up like I did and hope to make a difference in their lives.

I just finished my Pluto square transit, and I agree with Charlie- there is a dawning! I hadn't thought of that, but the past few years have been awareness of the sacrifices I have made are all bringing me to what I want.

My Pluto is Libra 11th house. After thinking about this, I would say I want my destiny the most. I have a role to fill, and I have this desire and need to achieve it. I don't always know what it is, but I know I want it. I wouldn't say I have behaved badly to get to it. But I also have had situations with strings attached that served to benefit me.

I think the Aquarian aspect of the 11th house definitely fits because for me its about helping the collective. Thank you for the read!

PS Our Moons must be conjunct Charlie. Pluto is nearing my Cap Moon as we speak.
