I can't see my mother very clearly... I never understand her feelings and motivations. I am often very angry at her and don't like to do stuff when she tells me to and I feel like the reasons for that anger never come to my mind when it's time to explain myself. My sister sides with her through everything. She even closes her eyes whenever she does something mean to me. Like bring up how I'm crazy and my head isn't screwed on right because I've had depression for the past 4 years and a BPD. I just't don't know if I really am just a bad person and it's just my vision that doesn't work with anything, even for myself. Or it's really her that's insensitive about me in particular and doesn't care to chew her words when she adresses me because ¨I am her child and I owe her my life.¨.

My chart info is:
Davina
Born July 10th 1998 at 10:16AM
in Montréal, Canada.
I am a female.

Thanks!

If the fourth house represents your mother, Nessus being there could be part of the issue you are struggling with. Nessus is also opposite your Venus.

I would research your north node being in your 12th house for hints at what is going on. It could be something in your subconscious that you can't easily see.

My mom has her moon opposite transit Neptune and she has been like this for the longest time. Not always but the longest time. We used to be really close and get along really well but then she started to treat me a lot like how your mother is treating you. Always playing the victim, always acting like I owe her everything I earn just because she birthed me, always talking down to me one second but then the next second she is crying and acting like I'm ruining her life by not wanting to stay with her for the rest of her life...I love her but it is so annoying. I want to get farther away from her every time she is like this.

Well honestly as soon as someone says you're crazy, unless you've clinically been proven as actually insane, for the most part, they're likely gaslighting you. And IMO BPD doesn't make you crazy, exactly, and it isn't the same as clinical insanity. It's likely she uses your disorders and depression as an excuse to validate her behavior.

In any event, she sounds like a real pill. Neptune is many things, including lies/deceit. So, your mother's relationship with you is quite deceptive. This doesn't mean you should simply blame her, but rather, she also probably has a difficult time understanding you, too. If she did, she wouldn't be so insensitive.

On top of dealing with your issues, it must be really hard for you to figure out when she's gaslighting or not, but when/if you get a handle on this, she'll stop having an effect on you (or not as strong). Because you've got Neptune conjunct your moon, you'll benefit from practical solutions. If you wanted, you could look up books on narcissistic parents, mothers, family dynamics, and about gaslighting, to see if it sheds light on your situation.

Usually, Gem or Sag on the IC indicates moving house. One day in the future, perhaps, getting some healthy distance could be in order.

You've also got Pluto pretty close to your IC. Generally this is good, it means you're quite strong, but also, Pluto on the IC means one could potentially gloss things over, and perhaps need to face some issues related to the home/family.

Well I thought that Moon squares Mars, but alas...

You however do have Sun/Moon opposite.

At times you are able to see other people's point of view and put your emotional feelings on the side. At other times, you cannot and can react sensitively to being 'attacked'.

The problem is that nobody knows when the one personality will show up and you can be very "its either you are on my side or against me" in your stance.

The wide Moon/Neptune conjunction could also be why you have feelings pop out of "nowhere" that you fail to understand intellectually.

Mars/Jupiter are square which can suggest that when angry, you can blow things completely out of proportion or exaggerate the extent to which you are angry.

Jupiter has a potent effect on Mars- making sure that whatever triggers Mars is doubled, tripled and quadrupled to an extent where there is a lot more to the anger than what started it.

Be aware of this tendency to blow things waaay out of proportion and look for a level ground.
This you can do BEFORE the blowout happens as it will be impossible to do it during.

Both Mars/Jupiter square and Uranus/Mercury conjunct in Leo speak of unedited/unrestricted FREEDOM.

In the Mars/Jupiter instance, it could be defying anything that seems to hold you back or have you live under a microscope- which I suspect is what is happening with Mom.

Uranus-Mercury doesn't like to be told what to do or following rules. So this is defiance due to feeling 'brainwashed" or "censored" to a point where you level of thinking and decision making you feel is compromised. This is the " don't talk down to me " aspect.

It is also the aspect(together with Mercury-Neptune) that makes everyday language seem so banal- making expressive communication so difficult or feeling like people are just not hearing hat you are saying.

I think in order for a situation to be volatile, both parties need to take part. But the volatility is neutralized if one of the parties is conscious of the triggers and steps back.

It will not always be easy to bite your tongue or avoid getting into a standoff, but if you can tell where a bottleneck is likely to be and when a disagreement is likely to occur, you can choose differently

Before getting into an argument ask yourself "How will this benefit me in the long run?", "who am I trying to be right now?" or "is it really essential that I win this?" etc. Sometimes we get into fist fights and cause a lot of dust only to come out of it an hour later(sometimes sooner) asking ourselves; "why did I get so angry though?"

When we are growing up, our feelings of anger and resentment are usually borne from a burgeoning personality that uses our parents code of conduct of whom we are and whom we are supposed to be as a benchmark from which to bounce our true selves off of.

If the discrepancy between what our parents want us to be and whom we are becoming is great, we are likely to get incredibly angry at them and wish that they "understood" us as we scream and shout to be heard etc.

The irony is that without their rules and regulations whom we are and what we want to be etc. would not emerge so forcefully and intently.

Does your Mom have a Moon/Neptune aspect or Neptune anywhere on her personal planets?

Davina, I'm sure it's a mixture of both sides, but I doubt you're really a "bad" person. People have different points of view they cling to with the rigid hands of ego. Maturing is in many ways just outgrow as much of our ego tendencies as possible. Parents usually have no clue how many years they spent wanting particular things or outcomes for their child that may not have even been appropriate. They often want their child to live in such a way as to make up for their own (privately kept) failures or shortcomings, an unfair thing to put upon a kid (young or adult).
In your birth chart, part of this is the Moon in the sign of Capricorn. I also have it in my birth chart. It is the Moon in its least natural sign expressed through the Saturnine principle of delay, suppression, rationality, responsibility, etc. So start by seeing the Moon in that context. We Moon in Capricorn folks start out having difficulty with our own feelings. So many of them can be discomforting and we can have trouble with getting close or with those who are close to us. Parental relations can be a challenge, because somewhere inside we'd prefer to just be in charge rather than go any further into the mushy, gooey, sticky territory of subjective feelings and other people's issues. But that's not how life works. The greatest achievement for most of us Moon in Capricorn people is to come to accept our parents and family as they are and not long for the family situation others seem to have.

But adding in Moon conjunct Neptune lends hypersensitivity, the need to dream and experience the ideal. But that will have to be created within you. DO keep believing in your vision of life and how you want to live, but don't see each view or current vision as carved in stone. You also have Moon parallel Uranus at 17° south. This combination of Neptune and Uranus conjunct/parallel Moon shows me you're original and inspired (or will be once you gain your confidence and feeling of self-identity), and a breaker of conventions. That's what a Moon-Uranus person is in some way. Those trans-personal influences will eventually come into play, but they are longer developing than the other planets.

Some of your transits the last few years have involved Pluto (and Saturn) in ways that could understandably account for some depression, but they won't last forever. So don't mistakenly identify yourself with "crazy." This is just an experience you are having now, and you can begin changing it at any time. At age 18-20 I had serious depression that required Rx help and counseling, but looking back it was only a growth phase into a place that had not been sanctioned by my upbringing. You have your own identity, but that does not mean it is approved by your family.
