Can I first off say how excited I am that you brought up this subject. I love talking about it.

The meaning of the Draconian chart should be yours to explore by perhaps starting backwards from Pluto to the Sun.

Truly analyze each sign condition in its own merit to see if there is a part of you recognizable therein.

The Draconian chart is like peaking into the inner earth and coming to understand that there is a whole world underneath that which you have been accustomed to(Natal).

Of course at first blush, there is denial. Because you have been so comfortably attuned with what you know and so the existence of this world underneath your world was never even a thought.

It does not make the Draconian chart "more" important that the natal. But a story within a story that is inextricably combined with the natal.

Look at the Sun/Moon combo of the natal and then the Sun/Moon combo of the Draconian placements.

In my case, Sun/Moon is Sag/Cancer natal IS "The receptive traveler- one who learns a great deal through intuition and using the emotional mind".

Sun in Libra/Moon in Taurus in Draconian is "The pleasure seeker- one who is a inclined to seek the path of least resistance and where there is minimal strain on the emotional mind".

Thanks for this thread
Aries do you think your sun in draconic is what you somehow repressed within you?I need a honest opinion of somebody who like you, love the draconic chart.I feel people don't even compare they just say no.

What I mean is:
Sun in natal = what you became.

Sun in draconic = what you were once before you started to be shaped by your parents and your envirotment?Maybe who you really wanted to be?

Its hard to tell the nurture vs nature divisional line. And to be honest, I don't think its all that necessary to separate the two.

I don't believe I "suppressed" the Draconic Sun. I think its a evolutionary identity does not necessarily contradict what is on the natal

The North node is Gemini/Sun in Sag-

Sag can be very preachy, passionate, too academic and judgmental in self expression (Sun).

The North node in Gem suggests spiritual evolution would be to learn to less morally evaluative, to get in touch with everyday people and be less attached to finding the answers and more in asking the questions

The middle ground here is the Draconic Sun. Here the expression of the ego(Sun) strives to be neutral, fair, palatable and balanced (Libra).

As a Sag Sun, I really do try to steer clear of being preachy and forcing my opinions down someone's throat. Even going as far as to accept those counter opinions that I do not agree with.

Its not always easy. But it seems it is something that maturity makes second nature to always strive to do.

Someone with North node in Aries will not have the same stance.

Their Draconian Sun will be in Sag so for them, being all out preachy, opinionated and righteous will be their approach.

They will be the "textbook" Sag Sun.Not compromised in any way to speak their mind etc.

Aries I was just looking at this draconic chart thing on astro.com

The weird thing is, I did somthing that displayed chart, and now I can't find that same chart again! I have no idea what I did, but I did just select, "draconic" where the selections topical, sideral and draconic is. And the first time I got a type of chart that was on a white background, and natal chart in the inner part, and draconic placements on the outer.

But I can't find this chart now! The only ones is the "synastry" type of overlay. And seperate draconic chart! I'm loosing my mind! haha do you maybe know what I did wrong/right?

It looks like you changed the "Chart type" to "Comparison natal-draconic." The chart type you selected is under the "Other" category at the bottom of the selection options for "Chart type."
