Topic: Does (Child 1 Natal Chart + Child 2 Natal Chart) = Parents Natal Chart?

I've noticed a trend were in a typical family the first born child is the opposite sign of at least one of the parents.For example my sister is Capricorn and both my parents are Cancers. Now, I'm curious If I added my sister natal chart and mine, say using midpoints would I be able to derive my parents chart? Find person C adding person A and Person B? I know this isn't boolean algebra but I'm curious if it can be done with charts? My Planets

Perhaps, I too, have noticed this pattern. I am not sure what could beget this pattern. Influenced by the breeding patterns of their ancestors?IP: Logged |

For the first part, not for my family but good try. In only my mother and father composite, the North Node is conjunct to the first born's Sun.IP: Logged |

Yeah I've noticed this as well. Me: Sag ASC | Leo Sun | Pisces Moon Mom (also my best friend):

I'm a Taurus Sun with no Scorpio Sun for a parent and I'm the first born child. However, my dad is a Capricorn and my brother is a Cancer. It's also worth noting that the composite chart between my brother and I has a Gemini Sun. My brother and I have a Gemini Sun for a mother.IP: Logged |

That is not how natal charts work...those are simply coincidences. Anything in a child's natal chart can reflect the parent's. It is all depending on the situation. There is no one way to identify parents in a natal chart because everyone's parental situation is vastly different.For you and some percentage of the world population, you may find that a parent is reflected in your chart through the sun signs of each child born. For some, they may find that the parents are reflected through the Moon and Saturn house placements. Some may see it through Venus and Mars house placements. Some may see their parents in their degrees (ie having the exact same degree sun and/or moon as a parent even if it is in a different sign). Some may have their sun moon or asc conjunct a planet in the composite of their parents. None of these will ring true for everyone because everyone's thing is something different. So, the answer to your question is no, that does not = parents natal chart. It's just an indicator, not a surefire equalization that rings true every time. Situational logic. IP: Logged |

It won't be right in every scenario but its still an interesting clue. Astrology is similar to meteorology its not perfect all the time there are variables but its right most of the time. My Planets

Hmmm...My Dads Moon forms a conjunct aspect to my Sun. My Dads Sun forms a conjunct aspect to my Moon. My Moms Moon conjunct my Sisters Sun My Dad's Sun conjunct my Sisters Asc My little Sis Asc opp my Mom's Sun My Dad's Sun conjunct my Sisters Moon IP: Logged |

That's not the case for me. But I notice Square is pretty common in my family. For instance Im a Pisces... my mother is a Libra, father is a Sagitarrius. Pisces -> Squares Sagitarrius. My younger sister is a Gemini which is opposite Sag but she isnt the first born. My mother has a Virgo moon though, which is opposite my sign. But I think that is digging a bit too much. My Aunt was the first born of my grandparents(grandpa: Virgo Sun grandma: Gemini Sun) my aunt is a Gemini, so her sign Squares her dad's My cousin is a Pisces her husband a Cancer, their first born is a Sagitarrius. So I notice more squares in my family than opposites. ------------------
