Seems seriously odd to me! It's always about love with Venus!

Venus/Neptune = delusional love...
Venus/Uranus = cheater..
Venus/Pluto = sadomasochsitic as s twat..
Venus/Saturn = cold hearted b itch..
Venus/Moon = social misfit..

etc etc etc etc

Why cannot Venus be more about things related to Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder? I have the DREADED Venus sq Uranus and I also happen to have Venus conj Saturn and opposite Moon. NOT good placements in the Relationship Bible....
Funny how it is though, that I am warm, loyal (unless you cheat on me or treat me like crap. I WILL get even..) and very stable in relationships but where I am unstable is the way I dress, the music I listen too and everything else in the ARTS that I consider worth my while.

The few times I have messed up in relationships I feel strongly it's been for my Cap Moon and that Cap Moon alone. My EMOTIONAL needs have not been met and I needed to fill the void.

Neptune is the higher octave of venus, Venus is exalted in pisces, venus in aspect to neptune is an aspect of unconditional love.

Venus in aspect to the moon is someone who has a very open heart and may be hyper sensitive at times because of it, its an aspect that makes you feel emotionally vulnerable but it DOES make you very open hearted and the need to be connected to others is higher, hence these folks invest more on their social contacts and people or shut down and isolate to protect themselves maybe. In synastry you feel automatic this love for the other, you feel at home with them.

Venus/pluto loves deeply, they have the ability to open up all the way and take big risks in the love department at least once in their life. The ability to open up all the way is not something everyone can do. Venus/pluto falls deeply and is a powerful aspect in synastry for that too especially if you both have this natally as well.

Venus/uranus is NOT a cheating aspect, it indicates a relationship that starts fast and out of the blue and or that is based on friendship and companionship or a love at first sight scenerio.

Venus/Saturn: Saturn glues people together, this is a relationship that people stick out if they come together and that love grows slowly over time but is more lasting in the end.

I think Venus relates more to ones ability to open up to pleasure, what one finds pleasurable and how in touch one is with their sensual side.

Love(at least the initial stages of attraction and falling in love) are the domain of Venus. But I think Moon governs
relationships(as the Chaldean system suggests with Moon ruling the 7th)

So are we talking about pleasure or relationships? Because love is wide, it varies. Even Mars has some claim to "love".

Venus-Pluto- I don't flirt much.I am scared of being betrayed. I can open myself up to love, but it takes a long time. I obsess about you. But that's only because I want to cover myself by gauging your intentions for me.

Venus-Neptune-I can seduce you and play along but that's only until you show clay feet. I am open to romantic love,i get infatuated easily but I fear the real, mundane " choose me everyday" stuff. I want to live in the beginning stages of love throughout our relationship.

Venus-Uranus-I get excited by attractions. I find it hard to stay committed to one person. I see many possibilities in the beginning. I can flirt up a storm but don't settle easily. I can do romance but I fear intimacy or needing anyone.

Venus-Saturn-I feel awkward with all superficial and frivolous things. And I think that romance is one of those things. I may not flirt or open up easily, but I can commit when I see longevity and value in that. I take time to feel pleasure but am not immune to it. I dislike dating but like domestic trappings of marriage.

Venus-Moon-I fall inlove easily. I want to take care of everyone. I take chances in love but its sometimes painful. I can commit and open up but I am easily hurt by indifference or rebuffs. Romance is the stuff of life. Its hard to let go when I fall for someone. I dream of getting married and cooking for the one I love.

Venus I feel plays out always, at the beginning of a relationship but throughout the life span of a relationship as well. Its a broad energy that when it aspects other planets manifests in different ways.

For example my husband and I have venus conjunct venus in leo, I see this happens a lot with people that end up getting married actually bc they have similar styles, tastes* and needs in the love department, similar ways of expressing love, similar love language, similar tastes in food and music and entertainment!

I think my husband and I have very similar tastes in food, entertainment, and music although he is into techno and I am not as into it as he is, I do enjoy minimal techno more. We both have venus conjunct venus in Leo trine neptune and sextile pluto but his venus also squares his mars conjuct uranus hence his love for techno but I do loove electronic music like him too, we both love dubstep! You can see the style of dubstep I like is influenced more by venus trine neptune and sextile pluto, his is also bc he has BOTH of those aspects but again you can see his uranus conjunct MARS squaring his venus influence his taste in music and how some dubstep music he likes I may not be as into bc is too harsh lacking the neptune and pluto influence, similar to some of the techno he loves, I may find it too harsh, I think his mars conjunct uranus squaring his venus has a lot to do with that.

In a nutshell our taste in music, food and entertainment is VERY very similar for the most part and helps a lot our married life bc we can enjoy those things together.

@Charlie, have you ever looked into your declinations aka parallel/contrparallels.

Your first mention of being warm, seems like there is something else going on that could be obvious if you looked into your declinations.

Case in point, I have Venus opposite Saturn/Uranus, but can't say I'm all that cold and prudeish. I just recently discovered that my Sun is parallel Venus - which lends to Sun conjunct Venus. Definitely a eye opener.

look just because you guys don't resonate with a planet's certain themes does not mean it does not rule over those themes... You are one person out of billions and you have dozens of aspects and house placements that can alter the way a planet plays out in your life. Not to mention the environment you grow up in can also affect these things. So, to answer, we associate Venus with love because in Roman mythology Venus is love and beauty and feminine sexual power and grace and passion and pleasure, it is the love of the arts and beautiful creation and resonates with the Greek counterpart of Aphrodite, love and affection and beauty and sexual desire. We associate Venus with love because it's just been that way for centuries, to be quite honest. It rings true for most cultures as they all have their own Venusian counterpart with the same attributions so there is no point in changing what she stands for at this point.

In your case, you are either being overdramatic or simply accidentally misinterpreting what is happening in your chart. Just because someone has Venus conj Saturn natal does not mean they are a cold-hearted ******* with no morals and no sense of being loved or giving love. You have to look at the bigger picture of your chart before you make such assumptions about yourself or others. Astrology is good for soul-searching and building a better you, not tearing yourself or others down to the point you are constantly questioning why you are like this just because of (or despite of) this aspect or placement. Find the bigger picture and then work your way into the details. Looking at your own chart, why do YOU think Venus is associated with love? Can you interpret another way in which your Venusian aspects have played out in your life, besides the generic "you're a heartless ***** " or "you're lacking love"? At the end of the day...it can all be interpreted differently for different people. There are simply not enough degrees, zodiac signs, aspects, and houses to give one-dimensional and vague interpretations to billions of people. Your Venus conj Saturn plays out how you see it playing out because you are the only one with your specific chart being raised in your specific environment. Not to mention you have others planets at play in your chart that affect the outcome of another planet.

Could it be because majority of time, people go to astrology in regards to their love life?

So the topics are more relationship oriented? Even in the books.
I do associate Venus not just how we love, but what we value, see beauty in things, fashion, interaction with others in order to make friends, etc. Then we also got the whole chart to color the whole picture.
