The forum isn't as good. There used to be intelligent, prolific posters and readers. Now that I'm finally matured and ripened with experience they're gone. I miss them. I wonder how Kerosene is doing..

I agree. Karka, My mind is matured as well and my inquisitive nature has been attracted to the old members (via the search tool) whom I never had the honor to even learn from at that time. (With ability to join in those discussions) In this time the energy here appears much different. Frankly I spiraled around topics, many that were only filler for me. The intensity 'LL elders" shared then was certainty the best 'LL' had. Imo of course!
I've become burnt out because the depth isn't
even close in the particular time continuum.

I especially miss RunAroundScreaming. I remember her first post where she didn't know anything about astrology. Then because of the people that existed on the site at the time she went to full blown chart reading. My Mercury trine Jupiter loves that to see someone grow based on whats kind of knowledge is available to them. Yeah and to no offense, a lot of people here are not really astrologers now and don't come off nearly as... smart.. or inquisitive.. witty. I miss the energy they gave to the forums. I genuinely learned from here. It's very disappointing man.

LeeLoo was a 2014 member. I remember her in 2014/ early 2015ish.
Can't remember my interactions with her much, but I recall (and shifting through the archives) it was positive. Aubyanne is also a 2014 member. I didn't have much interaction with them but I'm sure I appreciated their presence. I'm not comparing members but I'm seeing how the atmosphere and discussion of LL has exponentially gone down the mediocre drain since then.
I'm not the only one who notices this, evidently, by my private conversations with members.

I joined in 2015. Based on posts I've read by using the search engine to find older posts related to information I'm looking for, it seems like Lindaland isn't the way it used to be. This doesn't mean the forum is full of stupid people now, but the atmosphere feels different when I read posts from before I joined the forum. People seem to bring less knowledge into the threads that are posted here and it was much easier to exchange information and learn when there was more to discuss than there is now. While I can certainly still post on many of those older threads, any conversations that are started up in revived threads and such don't result in much of a lasting discussion. Members now have less to contribute. Maybe one day the forum will get a bunch of new members that bring with them new knowledge, but it's hard to say if this will ever happen.IP: Logged |

I know where some of them are, but a lot are on facebook, or have just moved on. Disappeared, at least those I didn't know very well. I've been here since 2002, so as much as I don't like to think I'm anything close to old, almost sixteen years is a lot. Ugh. *edit. I can't link, but the people who left a year ago, are doing well.
