Topic: My 7th house is mostly Gemini even with a Taurus Descendant

I have a Taurus descendant at 25 degrees, but my 7th house is mostly Gemini. Does this have any impact on how I experience my 7th house? Aside from my progressed Moon, the first planet to become conjunct my progressed Descendant is Mercury. By progression, my Descendant is currently in Gemini.IP: Logged |

I used to think that its both. But now I think that the sign on the cusp of the 7th-even if on the 29th degree- dominates.But look at the nature of your partnerships to confirm. Taurus DSC likes stable partners. Those who are the "cool,calm,collected" types. Gemini DSC are more high strung,chatty, jittery etc. IP: Logged |

Your Dsc is in Taurus, so you're attracted to Taurus energy and the energy of the sign where your Dsc ruler Venus is.
The degree (whether early or late degree of a sign) only matters in the sense that it influences the cusps of each house.
Let's assume your Moon is in Aries and your Asc, too. A first house Moon is very different from a twelfth house Moon.
If you have planets in Gemini, they would carry Libran instead of Scorpio energy, since most of your seventh house is in Gemini and little or none in the eighth house. That's the difference it makes.IP: Logged |
