Just posting this to vent but any advice or if anyone has had experience with these transits feel free to discuss. Here are the transits i'm going through all within 1 degree at the moment: - Saturn conjunct Ascendant (and Uranus) - Saturn opposite Sun - Pluto square Mars - Neptune opposite Moon Aaand it looks like it wont be long until Saturn turns retrograde and passes right over those same points again lol. What I can report is that i've been doing some very intense, ground breaking work at my job that is requiring me to spend weekends and nights. It hasn't been easy but it is a game changer for this company. I am going to guess that is all the Saturn influence there. I've also been very tired and a bit depressed, cant tell if that is Saturn or also the Neptune influence there. Pluto square mars has definitely made me a bit obsessive about some guy I can't even be with, who I think I am also glamorizing a bit more than necessary (probably some Neptune influence there too). While I have been doing all this incredible work, it feels a bit like rolling a boulder uphill or whatever that expression is, as these days I just want to lay around in bed. *Wanted to add on, I will soon also be encountering Uranus conjunct my IC in a couple of months. Very curious what this might bring and will hope for a positive manifestation. IP: Logged |

That is definitely a challenging set of transits and I'm not surprised to hear you say you've been tired a feeling a bit depressed. I'd say because of Saturn's involvement and the Neptune/Moon transit, it might be helpful for you to bolster your energies a bit with an adaptogenic herb like Ashwagandha (or Schizandra). I say Ashwagandha because it can help you sleep at night (if taken then) and will gradually build up your strength and ability to handle the stress during this time. But you could also benefit from B-complex in high doses if you're not yet taking that. With all groundbreaking work you are doing it is good to support brain and body. Saturn conjunct natal Uranus can be hard on the nervous system, so be sure to do whatever it takes -- minerals, vitamins, herbs. White Chestnut flower is a good flower essence for obsessive, unwanted thoughts, in case that seems relevant to you. I got some nearly two years ago and it really helped. (I've been going through Pluto transits contra-parallel my Mercury and Mars). ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Declinations: because the planets move north and south of the celestial equator IP: Logged |

I just want to say since you have a mars square pluto transit to avoid putting yourself in vulnerable positions like walking alone at night on an alley. You should avoid this always but specially with this transit I would advice to be extra careful.Saturn hitting the luminaries is very rough yes but it builds up resilience and character. Neptune on your moon, engage your senses and ground yourself by reminding yourself to be grateful for what is right in front of you that you can touch, taste, smell, hear etc instead of getting lost in fantasy land, bc right now is what is real. Saturn conjunct ascendant, practice a lot of self-compassion, be kind to yourself, there is a lot of good meditations out there that help with this. IP: Logged |

Interesting, I will order some White Chestnut Flower essence and try it out. I had started taking Ashwaganda but took it on an empty stomach one day which made me incredibly agitated and put me off of it, but I might pick it up again, just need to remember to take it with a meal. Thank you for these suggestions.

Flower essences is a type of energy therapy, Is the energy of the different flowers, each flower helps with a different issue so is not a supplement/herb like Ashwaganda. I just wanted to clarify that, flower essences are not essential oils either.IP: Logged |

Ah yes, definitely avoiding dark alleys and strange people lol. This is the second pass of pluto squaring mars for me, the first time was around a year ago and I ended up in a violent situation with a male. Interestingly, we also had mars square pluto in our composite charts. I had seen the transit coming up on my chart years back with worry, but when it started approaching I told myself I wasn't going to let astrology make me paranoid... now I am heeding these transit interpretation warnings lol.
Thank you for the advice. I am trying to be less fault finding of myself, and trying to find that balance between the desire for self improvement (which I find comes with critique) and self love.

I do empathize (rough transits), you will get through this too. I am really glad you are avoiding dark alleys and strange people, take good care of yourself . http://www.healingherbs.co.uk/essences/essence/white-chestnut#.WqbsSudG2M8 Flower essences are very subtle so it won't have any impact on your stomach, it works on our energy field. I have never used flower essences before. How do you recommend they be taken? A few drops when needed? IP: Logged |

Yes as needed will suffice or a few times a a day... Honestly they can run out quickly so if you get an empty dropper bottle, put four drops in it and fill it with water and it will last longer that way. I don't do this personally but it lasts longer that way. ...So you buy white chestnut flower essence and get an empty dropper bottle, put four drops in it and fill with water then use that up and repeat. That's odd about the Ashwagandha. It is known for its initial calming effect. You may have an allergy to it. Are you allergic or poorly tolerant of other Nightshades? (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, etc) Ashwagandha is in that family: Solanaceae Withania somnifera. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Declinations: because the planets move north and south of the celestial equator IP: Logged |

I don't have any allergies or poor tolerance of nightshades to my knowledge, I eat plenty of those foods often. I think it might have just been due to taking it on an empty stomach. I'll try it out again. IP: Logged | |
