In esoteric colours hold the energy of certain planets.Moon - white, silver
Sun - red, orange, pink
Mercury - lime green/sea green
Venus - off white/cream/champagne and glitter of silver and gold combination
Mars - deep red, pure red
Jupiter - yellow
Saturn - black
North node - blue/dark navy blue

I think I am Mercury dominate. My favorite colors have always been greens, especially light greens and pastel greens. I also really like blueeee. Weird, since I have several planets in the same house as my South Node but nothing conjunct my NN or in the same house as it. I think SecretGreek may be right that the colors need to reverse for that. That, or maybe I am just unconsciously gravitating towards my NN with my love for blue? Hm. I don't think I am Venus dominant but I like those colors too. I have Venus conj Pluto both opposite ASC IP: Logged |

Good topic. Astrologer, programmer, and engineer John Willner did color test studies and confirmed the following:Sun: orange
Moon: violet
Mercury: yellow
Venus: cyan (light blue)
Mars: red
Jupiter: blue
Saturn: green
Uranus: saturated green
Neptune: saturated blue (navy, indigo)

This is esoteric not assumptions and me makin up things with feelings. We all have different associations with colours because of our individual life experiences with it so our intuition/feelings are not reliable source for knowing the objective truth about colours and what planets they're associated with. According to esoteric astrology you don't have to have the planet your dominate in natal chart to use the colours associated with it. It actually depends on an esoteric technique of transit which can tell what colours you most probably attract or are attracted to more because of the planet affecting you dominantly in that specific time phase. Depending on what planet that time phase can vary from 5 to 20 years. IP: Logged |

I barely wear black. Its a colour I dislike. Its just so dour and dull. Metallic grey?...maybe. I prefer yellow,gold,pink and orange. And that's Sun/Jupiter mostly. And Sun conjuncts Jupiter in Sag in 9th house. IP: Logged |

That's interesting. Right now, I have Neptune transiting my 10th house. Pluto is transiting my 8th house. They have both been there for a while and will be there for an even longer while. What colors are associated with these two planets in esoteric? Do I just look at Venus and Mars for Neptune and Pluto respectively? It might be why I like the venusian colors more.
