What does it mean to have a grand cardinal cross between Mercury in Cancer, Neptune in Capricorn and then Lunar Nodes in Aries and Libra? I tried to do some re search about this, but couldn't find how the lunar nodes get in this.IP: Logged |

I have that but in mutable signs between my nodes and mercury opposite moon in pisces. They call it the skipped step. Stuff you need to resolve from past lives, lessons you did not integrate in a past life but now you need to. With my mercury opposite my moon, I feel I am meant to experience the power of emotions taking over in my lifetime and then learning about the power of the mind in helping regulate emotions, learning to find a balance between the two and honor both. I use my mutable nature to help me flow easily between one and the other to achieve and maintain that balance and access my intuition by honoring both sides of me. This skill I now teach others as a therapist (e.g. DBT, the wise mind). You have Neptune at play instead of the moon in cardinal signs...Neptune is imagination, faith, creativity...mercury is the mind, communication...you said you wanted to be writer, am I correct?! Perhaps this is were this desire is coming from, is your skipped step!!!!!!! You have to find a way to integrate your imagination, creativity and faith, and ability to dream into your writing skills (mercury), you are here to integrate neptune with mercury, to communicate neptune by putting it in writing. Just a thought I also think since the nodes are the nodes of the moon and the moon rules our emotions that there is a lesson for you around faith and using faith to keep your mind strong. Thank you hypatia! the way you just said it was so beautiful! I have a different perspective now. Long ago I remember telling this girl the way I had to cope with emotions was writing, writing my thoughts, emotions, stories... What you say about faith is also so meaningful specially cause of the past few days I've been so conscious and self aware of that feeling of not being alone yet emotional wounds bring that up once again and I have to learn to deal with those wounds, abandonment issues, knowing and being sure I'm not alone, maybe I should start writing those feelings again. Thank you so much! IP: Logged |

Well said, and nicely put, Hypatia! quote: Originally posted by hypatia238: ..there is a lesson for you around faith and using faith to keep your mind strong.
yes! the transiting nodes have just switched houses in her chart-- NN went from her 10th house into her loaded 9th House very recently. (Go for building more 'Faith')... 'Writing' and journaling, with SN Aqua now crossed into your 3rd House IP: Logged |

Nodes are very important. I look at them most mainly because birth times of day are not needed. However, if someone has a valid birth time, I sense the Vertex might can be used to discover deeper information. For example, soul uniqueness to be recorded and be held for accountability, etc.The Vertex seems to be related to whatever houses are along the axis. In my case, they are currently (based upon rectification) the 5th and 11th representing the Vertex and Anti-Vertex respectively. But if meeting a partner, the partner will also have a set. It might be related to how opposites attract or a way to bind two together for spiritual purposes not normally known in advance. I envision the Vertex a little different than most people. I think of the Vertex like a spinning gyroscope. At conception, where she lands nobody knows. So with the combination of the other axes, the Vertex makes the addition similar to a gyroscope. It seems to adds variance relative to all other individual souls for the purpose of being unique. My twins are two minutes apart. The granularity of a natal is not low enough (Planck time) because the ASC and Moon potentially being at the same locations even though two different souls exist. But the two minutes could be at least enough for soul variance. I think milliseconds should change the Vertex. Such that the Vertex could be dependent upon Planck time.

I read that the Vertex is only possible to be in certain houses and signs in someone's chart due to its reference to the ascendant so it is very important to make sure the birth time and location is accurate. For this reason, I have thought that the Vertex is more important than the Nodes since it is more individualized. IP: Logged |

And to the OP, I think this grand cross is showing a heightened talent and karmic destiny for the associations of those planets. You might make a good writer or public speaker, publisher, actor, or singer or something associated with those planets. If you pursue those careers, you might even find that you are receiving more karmic blessings than others. You might struggle more often since it is between squares but the end will always bring something very grand for you and your mental state.IP: Logged |
