Chiron will go into Aries on April 18 2018 and will be there until 2027.So, collectively, what do you think this could mean for humanity as a whole? And individually, for you, what do you think it means? It makes me think of the old saying "men are from mars, women from venus." Which always reminds me of what George Carlin once so eloquently said: “Men are from Earth, women are from Earth. Deal with it.”
I think for the masculine duality in all of us, it will have a lot to do with redefining that aspect of ourselves, healing our identity, and finding new ways to assert ourselves. Individuals who have especially martian aspects to themselves, to their whole personality, regardless of how much mars or Aries is in their chart, will go through a wild ride. And Aries is also our identity, so those with a particularly wounded identity, or feeling worthless and powerless could have it rough until they finally discover themselves. IP: Logged |

I am not getting much of a sense of the change from water to fire, since Chiron will remain in the 3rd house. The IC will be hit around 3/22/2022 which is close to the SN. The NN has Pluto and Venus on it, but more so Pluto. Something major could happen then.IP: Logged |

I'm getting close to my Chiron rtn. Hopefully it won't be uncomfortable. I have maybe 13mos until it hits my natal in cnj. Then he does go retro too so he'll be cnj my natal one awhile in 2019. In my natal he is cnj my pre natal LunaEclipse and trines my Neptune. There's little in my natal he doesn't aspect actually! I feel like all my years I've been a caterpillar, perhaps this period is where I transform into the butterfly. [ aha, my post# makes 11:11 in away anyhow. ] Here's a nice link on Chiron: http://astrologyforthesoul.com/chironreturn50.html IP: Logged |

An an Asc in Aries, I identified more with my Draco Asc in Aqua. But I really like your insight to the Chiron in Aries move.Yes. I think masculinity will have to be redefined. The "macho man" role is outdated now and is slowly being replaced with male masculinity that is not afraid to appreciate the power of gentleness. But not without first facing a struggle. As many gatekeepers of the patriarchal system(women included), are yet to be comfortable with the "soft" man. There will be a lot more resistance before the shift. A lot more people talking about where the "real" men went? i.e. John Wayne,Clint Eastwood stereotypes and the like etc. More men may embrace therapy; whether to deal with cases of being abused. Or else they will voluntarily go for the sake of improving the relationships they have with their wives and children. Do u see how many men are taking advice from Steve Harvey on how to better relate with their partners? There is shift that is gaining momentum. And I feel positive about it. I myself am confronting some masculine issues of my own with Uranus in Aries in my 1st house. I feel like as a late Aries Asc, I got the memo later than others and am expected to "catch up". Because I don't see Taurus Uranus continuing the same thread. Its a whole new ball game there. I feel like all late Aries Asc people or those late in the Aries Sun/Moon or whatever, often catch a wake up later and have to take the " essence" of what the transit is teaching them before making changes. No time to ponder too deeply.

Last time Chiron moved in Aries was January 31, 1969. Don't think it had anything to do with masculinity.IP: Logged |

I feel that redefining masculinity is about learning to value the feminine. For example, in general, females are more in touch with their masculine side than men are with their feminine side. Hopefully, men will begin to connect more with their feminine traits without feeling less masculine for it. If femininity gains more value, especially with men, this would greatly improve how men and women interact with each other. For example, women would start to feel more empowered by their femininity rather than weaker for it. I'm not ashamed to admit that I like men with feminine traits - both physically and personality-wise. Anyway, on a personal level, I have absolutely no clue what will happen. I've Googled and Googled and all I could find on my next Chiron transit was some information about transiting Chiron conjunct their Mars just making people angrier. Angrier. I'm not sure I need more anger. Maybe I should order that stress ball soon. IP: Logged |

Masculinity will never go away. In nature vs. nurture, nature wins every time. IP: Logged |

I think the danger faced by upcoming men is they might find it difficult to express their masculine energy coz it is branded "toxic".IP: Logged |

Many women crave masculine energy, new or old age. IP: Logged |

I used to run a couple hundred head of female cattle on several hundred acres I owned. I had a set of top dollar bulls to follow up artificial insemination. One bull per 25 heifers/cows or so depending upon how mature the bulls were. The older ones had a higher appetite than the youngsters, believe it or not. Plus, they were huge. There was no need to own males other than the set of bulls. I didn't even need those bulls. I could have kept artificially inseminating the females. My efficiency rate would have dropped though. No need to feed the males because they eat more. One bull can provide a bunch of semen. It can be frozen in liquid nitrogen. They don't have to pay child support either.Men could be obsolete. Just need semen. IP: Logged |

When I was in my 20s, I knew this attractive straight lady. She was a tad older than me. She had several non-straight female friends and asked me if I would like to go dancing with her because her friends were going. I agreed. We got there and it was standing room only. I was the only male in there. That place was huge too. IP: Logged |
