Do you know someone who has this aspect?

this is one of the most fascinating astrological aspects to me! I can't seem to be able to figure out what this is about!

I don't know how it feels like to have such a powerful source of knowledge in the first house especially close to the AC!

I only know one person who has this aspect...his NN is right on his AC in leo...

the effects I can attribute to this aspect based on what I have seen in his life are: he has access to a lot of "contacts" i.e important people who have helped him advance in his career (he lives and mainly works in the same place he was born)...the area of relationships seems like a rough place for him, and it's like he's so over relationships (south node conjunct DC)...also, he's very attractive but that may just be me because his AC is conjunct my jupiter

something else I have found very interesting is that he says he must humiliate himself and bring himself down in order to feel like he belongs in the world!

so what do you think about this aspect? any experiences?

I have it in 1st conjunct Pluto. Also have Jupiter in First. I think I have always met people who have been a big help in my self-growth, some happened to be lovers, some friends and even the ones who made a negative impact in my life for the time being.

I have my NN conjunct ASC in Sagittarius. (But it's by 3 degrees, so my NN actually falls in my 12H.)

I still have not been able to find a lot of useful information of what the conjunction means?

The only thing I've found that I feel rings true for me is, "A 12h NN means you are hoping to make a great deal of soul progress in this life, using personal power for the good of all, and a heart centered approach."

I have this aspect. NN conjunct my ascendant in libra. Aspect has 3 degree orb.
I am 22 years old female and never have been in a relationship yet. Not even on a date! I used to be sad about it but now i look at it like a blessing. Its a blessing because i am changing so much and if i were to havr started dating someone earlier we would not have lasted because i am so different from what i was 2 years ago. Its a blessing because i get to discover myself and learn about myself without having to worry about someone else in a relationship. I am a clean slate with no baggage from past relationships. I am happy about that because the more that i learn about myself (i am obsessed with self help books) the better my relationships will be in the future.

I had 3 readings with astrologers. Two were western and 1 was vedic. The first reading was by Steven Forest. He is a popular astrologer who has written many books. This is what he said about this aspect in my chart (NN in 1st and SN in 7th): "in this lifetime you have to focus on yourself and your development...be careful not to settle down with anyone too soon because you will be 10 feet deep whereas the other person will be 3 feet deep." I have to work on self development to be my best version and succeed in relationships. If i were to have gotten in a relationship earlier, it would have ended badly because my self esteem was so low i would have ended up letting the guy define my self worth for me instead of defining self worth to myself.

So i think the key with this placement is finding your own authenticity and your own self worth because otherwise, relationships have a high chance of failing. Its not doom and gloom. Everyone has a chance at a happy and fullfilling relationship its just that inner work has to be done and your own life path carved out before getting into a relationship.

Another thing that he said, is that i will meet people who will help me on my life path. I will meet a lot of gurus and people that will help me succeed. The second astrologer told me that i will present myself very concretely to the world. So i will deal with people directly and personally instead of through ideas and concepts. NN in 1st house grounds you, as he said. In my vedic astrology reading my NN goes into the second house so the meaning kind of changes. This placement says i have to rely on my own self to make money and support myself. So yeah, this is all i know about this placement.

I can relate. Whenever they're just 3-4 feet deep I tend to compromise in the short run but in the long run it always seems to harm me. But I do need them too it seems, 3 feet deep people tend to have more simplicity in their lives which kind of balances me out, brings me back to sanity let's say. Whenever I'm with another 10 feet deep person things get very interesting but it can get too complex and too intense for my liking at times, handling my own problems can be a bit of a pain the a$$ at times, now dealing with another person's issues on top of that can make my head spin, and some 10 feet deep people do tend to bring 110 feet deep problems with them, so...

I have my NNode exactly on my ASC, in Pisces . My Sun sit exactly on my DSC along with the South Node. Relationships are important to me and I have always been in a relationship my whole adult life. I do crave alone time and I enjoy the company of myself tremendously but I do have to have someone in my life, always. I don't follow their path, however, they follow my life path.
I have a very strong pull towards the future and nothing stands on my way if I'm looking at a goal. I think it's the pull of the North Node, it's a very strong pull. I myself cannot even stop it. If I start slacking, a little mayhem will happen to pull me out of it and keep going.

This so true, whenever a relationship is holding me back but I'm still clinging on to it, the other person gets into some sort of problem and then they disappear from my life. Hurts a lot in the short run, but in the long run it seems like that was exactly what was needed.

^ LOL you got your ascendant right on my stellium.

I think anything that touches our NN seems to be something we want to be running away from at first...the energy is so strong, profound and alien (opposite the familiar SN)..

but in the long run, it proves to be what our life should be about, and what we must do in order to escape stagnation in life

so it amazes me when this is the person's very own identity or the ascendant which urges him/her to move forward!

I rather like this interpretation of the placement:

http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2016/11/north-node-in-1st-house-new-attitude.html

I have NN in Aquarius/12th house, but it's also conjunct my ASC (also in Aquarius). A lot of this rings true for me.

This is so interesting.

I have the reverse, so SN in 1st house and NN in 7th.

I love that you had a reading from Steven Forrest *AnstasiyaEnchanted* - I think he's one of the finest authorities on nodal astrology that I've come across.

As mentioned, my interpretation of NN in the first would be in retaining your independence in relationships in order to follow your path - or to even go it alone possibly.

Your SN will be attracted to experiencing the world through other people - you need to find a way to forge your own path and find your own independent voice. Ironically, this may come from the influence of others - but will likely have a different flavour to the sort of NN in 7th nurturing you'd get.

Essentially - and at its simplest - your lifepath will come from being your self, and putting your needs first (not necessarily in a selfish way). The sign and other aspects will show you how you will likely achieve this.

North Lunar Node conjunct Asc, especially in the 1st house, indicates the direction in life is towards self-development and putting self forward. To be more self-aware and self-defining rather than reactive or reliant on others.
