ArghhhhhhhhhhhhhH!!!!!

Just venting. Need to get this out there.

I have, for months, been planning my wedding with my fiancé (our wedding date is unfortunately ALSO going to be during mercury rx, but the actual contract signing of our wedding will not be, so whew). I have also been job hunting to get out of my current role which was signed, oh, during a mercury rx.

It seems like - for me - whenever mercury goes retrograde, every single endeavour I have been plodding away at for months suddenly gets a jolt of life and becomes active, which is awesome, except for the fact that I then wind up having to sign contracts during mercury rx (I'm sorry but has anyone successfully staved off signing a contract for a new job for 2 weeks in order to avoid mercury rx? Gimme a break), and then occasionally certainly realising that the roles were a) wrong for me, b) different from what I expected, etc.

In the meantime, going THROUGH an application/ interview process is also pretty miserable with a ton of communication or technical errors. I've said wrong things/ called people by wrong names, been fuzzy headed, etc.

But it's unavoidable eh? I feel like there is NO way to successfully avoid the hiccups of mercury rx. I am just trying to find a way to laugh, and embrace the fact that all the papers suddenly coming my way (two potential job offers), are going to probably turn out to be other than my expectations.

Anyone going through this?

I guess it depends. I'm not job hunting (but I will be soon) and I'm definitely not wedding planning but I have seen some others going through similar things around this time and it does seem to be a bit confusing for them. My chart ruler is Mercury and it is afflicted natally so I am kind of used to having issues with Mercury related things. Mercury retrogrades don't ever really bother me outside of making me a bit overwhelmed and annoyed easily. Other than that, it's not so bad.

Regardless, I would advise to keep doing whatever it is you're doing. One of the worst things you can possibly do during a mercury retrograde is...nothing. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even if there are problems popping up you just need to keep doing whatever it is you're doing. Retrogrades bring blockages but once the retrograde is over the fruits of labor you cultivated during that time will be greatly favorable afterward. It is a very unwise thing to let the blockages stop you and so I hope you keep going and everything turns out alright in the end. Jupiter is also retrograde during this time period and will be into July so that may be why you experience some extra delays in planning you wedding. Jupiter retrograde can also have many good outcomes if you just keep pushing through it though so best of luck!

Hang in there, the Mercury RX should be over in a couple days (April 15). Just keep telling yourself one more day to get through.

I've purposely minimized the amount of interaction required during this period and just set myself to routine. Not to try anything new or different, strikingly routine.
