Topic: Question about the 6th house

In regards to a persons career would the 6th house and planets in the 6th house be a factor? For example I have Moon in the sixth house and it trines my Mars in the 10th house. And does moon in the 6th house indicate one having a career in the medical field?IP: Logged |

I'm not sure if this is right but I see 6th house as nature of work, and 10th house as how that portrays?For me, I'd say that 6th house moon would indicate a need to do something you feel passionately about. Could be health or service related, or just helping in general. Interestingly, mars in the tenth I'd say would indicate a military persuasion, so with a positive combination like that, I'd say something like a nurse/medic in the military or police - certainly a public-service angle. I don't know if this is true, just a feel, really! What signs are they in? I have moon in leo in the 6th and it's very important to me that I do a job that I get to make a genuine difference to people, and that I get to take centre-stage in from time to time or at least have a little pride in what I do. Moon in Aquarius and Mars in Gemini I do like the medical field and alternative medicine as well. I know for sure that I like Massage Therapy. But I had to stop going to Massage school in September because the school was too far away from where I live. But I'm definitely going back to a different massage school that's closer next year. And will have Massage as a second source of income. I enrolled in Dental Assisting classes in January. I've done well with it but now I feel like I'd get bored working as a Dental Assistant. So now I'm going to enroll into Medical Assisting because I'll have more variety. IP: Logged |

12 house is vocational? I've always read that the 10th house represents what you do for a career. Everyone says the 10th house I've read that on several sites as well. IP: Logged |

Well Cancer rules my 12th house but I have no planets there. I do have moon in the 6th house. I know the Moon rules Cancer.IP: Logged |

My sister has Moon in 6th and yes she works in psychology.. She also has the Sun and other planets in this house. The 6th house is also what atmosphere you need at work and maybe your capacity to work IP: Logged |
