Hiyas,Old man Saturn just went retro on the 17th of April. How does this affect us individually if our natal Saturn is in retro too? I've done my fair share of karmic work and learned a great deal of deep lessons these last few years. How will this affect those people who's worked on their karma on this Saturn Retro? How will it affect those who are still running away on their karmas? IP: Logged |

Saturn-Rx is generally a time to get your personal life organized, to do some course correcting of objectives; it nudges us away from outward ambition or work to help us look at the internal mechanisms that structure our lives. I won't comment about how it will affect people in terms of feelings (too subjective and personal) or outward circumstances (not the point). Just look at it as a window of opportunity to realign objectives, to restructure in a way that increases your sense of response-ability and decreases the 'shoulds', guilt, failure, etc. Many people may have to deal with their own fear of failure, father issues, etc, before they can move forward with their more outward agendas. ------------------

My guess is it depends on the house your Saturn is in and the sign. For example, with Saturn Retrograde in Capricorn, some people are going through their Saturn Return at this time and they will likely be most affected by this. Other people that will be affected have Saturn Retrograde aspecting natal planets. Personally, my interpretation of Retrograde planets isn't ever the best. I do think that with Retrograde periods, the effects are on a more internal level, though what happens on the inside can affect external experiences.Interestingly, Saturn is the only planet I've actually felt noticeably affected by in terms of it going Retrograde. When Saturn was opposite my Moon last year, I felt all 3 hits and I immediately felt the effects of it going Retrograde. I also felt the effects of my Saturn going Retrograde by progression. Saturn Retrograde in Capricorn is going to be making a trine to my natal Venus at some point. I'm not sure how I will be affected by Saturn being Retrograde now. The potential for a break-up is shown by at least a few indicators, but I'm choosing to avoid jumping to conclusions based on these signs. I imagine that people with karma to work on will experience this period as more difficult than those that don't. Actively running away from karma as well is likely to make things that much tougher.
