I was thinking, how every sign has its highs and lows

for instance how wise a well-developed sagittarius sun can be, and how big bullies they can be when they're immature

so, the sun has just entered the sign of Taurus, and I wonder what more there is to Taurus than what we always read about this sign

as a Taurus sun myself, I am pretty much all about the pleasures in life...this is a hedonistic sign, but also a hard working one who is very stubborn about working hard to get what they desire

a normal Taurus can be all about food, sex and money (and all the nice things money can buy like a luxurious house, car, etc)

an under-developed taurus can be a very dissolute person who won't say no to any opportunity calling for sensual pleasures or immoral ways to make money

so what more is there to this sign, aside from being hard working, having physical beauty, being musically talented, having a fine taste, being loyal and reliable,..? I mean, what are their spiritual talents?

I can count their connection to nature for one...I have noticed that taurus people seem to have a magical connection with the Earth and nature in general...

sometimes when I'm in nature, I feel like I can hear what the flowers or the trees or the birds are talking about...the sound of a small creek with water running through it is like a perfect symphony to my ears...very soothing and utterly magical..so is the sounds of birds singing...I have written melodies based on them

so, Taurus, what are some of the profound things in life that only you seem to be experiencing?!

As a Taurus SN conjunct Jupiter (Hello to the wrong excess...) and Midheaven, I can safely say that I embody ALL of the bad things Taureans can do but I am also everything you mentioned about nature and music! People always ask me where I get my “inner sunshine” and strength from and I know it’s from nature alone! When I have a bad day or feel depressed, I head out in the woods or sit by the ocean and soak up the different energies! It’s a magnificent feeling of simplicity and beauty that money cannot ever buy.
For Taurus, I think it’s about being ONE with everything that nature has to give but not take it to the extremes.

My husband is a Taurus Moon. Very sexual. Very “foody”. Very musical. Very into money as safety. Spiritual? No. Religious? Yes. I personally like to explore different sides to religion and spirituality.

They're a fixed sign, so perhaps they're more loyal than other signs.

I think a developed Taurus is a very mature, emotionally and spiritually stable person. The presence of a developed Taurus should make people around them relaxed and happy Like a spiritual massage you know?

That is correct. If I had completed it Physical Geography or Environmental science would have been my second degree
( I'm still debating about it).

Half of the people I've encountered in that degree are Taurus or Taurus influenced females, never been a fan of the males.

The best thing about Taurus is if they care for you they'll do small simple things for you that mean a lot.

Believe it or not sometimes I have days were my mood completely changes.
Start of fine in the morning then everything goes by afternoon.

When that would happen one of my Taurus female friends would just give me a random hug and somehow that whould make everything right.

As I said its a small simple thing goes a long way.

haha totally! if I weren't an architect I too would study environmental engineering or something (I wanted to for my masters, instead I chose sustainable architecture which is actually very much related to nature)

and yeah, taurus is very touchy-feely and physical, a warm hug is totally a taurus thing!

Long memory. Especially memory of physical displeasure.

Uncommonly shrewd common sense. It sounds weird to say this but Taurus does not overlook or miss the practical details

Can be snobs and into class discrimination i.e "stay on your lane and associate with your class" types of people.

Can turn very violent. With Uranus/Mars or Moon/Mars in the mix, the anger comes quicker.

Kings and queens of the sensual touch. Few can ever topple the touch of a Taurus.

Physically beautiful(true). But also insecure about their physical beauty as they age. The challenge is learning how to grow old gracefully.

Friendships and close relationships can easily cross boundaries-;sleeping with a long time friend or having feelings for someone who is supposed to be a friend etc

Taurus tends to have trouble moving on. They tend to hang on to those they once loved possessively. Long-term relationships hardly end on a good note(sometimes even violence can happen)

So many other traits . Awesome sign energy

This describes my partner and his Taurus Moon to a "T" (no pun intended).

Sex, food, comfort, beauty...he loves to live the good life. Extremely physical...very big on hugs, kisses, cuddles, the works. Emotionally, he is a ROCK. Not easily flapped. Very steadfast which I appreciate so much. Predictable and simple...he wears the same clothes he's had for years (name brands mind you). He HATES change. Once he decides he likes something he becomes a "repeat customer" so to speak and doesn't deviate very far from what he knows he likes. Risk taking and imsulsivity are not strong traits of his. Stubborn...yes. It can take him a LONG time to make up his mind but once he does he's pretty much set on it. You have to work on him to get him to think differently. LOVESSSSSSSSSS the ocean...sometimes I think he could move to an island and live on a beach the rest of his life. I don't know if that's his Cancer Sun though adding confusion because they tend to like the water also. He is also HUGE into music. His "dream job" was always to be a DJ. He has a great ear for it. The problem is he loves money too much to pursue this passion and instead works a job that yields him a greater amount. I tell him all the time to pursue being a DJ as a hobby instead of as a career but you know...takes a while to move a bull

In summary, the best I can describe it is being wrapped in a big fuzzy blanket. If you're not a fast-paced mover and shaker there is so much warmth to be gleaned from this sign.

Oh my everything you take up here is true in my case! And that does not happen often when one read descriptions about signs.

Well ok not the class thing, BUT I was like that when I was 14-16 years old .

And yes, I have moon-mars-uranus contact. Quick to anger. But like an aries Mars, I calm down easily, often so.

My 4 stellium taurus mom, she is like a pressure cooker though. She will hold in and let it stew. And explode when least expected. She has always been this way. I learned to never trust her moods early on as a child.

Sun and Mercury in Taurus 9th house girl here, and yes, I LOOOVE nature! (and I'm very religious)

Luckily I live in Sweden with forests and lakes everywhere (we have around 100 000 lakes). The nearest one at a walking distance. I have loved nature as long as I can remember. My father loves nature too so he has during my childhood made sure to take us out for small hikes, lake swims, fishing etc so I started experiencing nature early on.

I train running several times a week and I run in one of the forests by my house with lake view. After every running session I lay down or sit down by the lake and just relax.

Also when I'm very sad and upset I will find myself by a lake or the baltic sea. I just sit there, look out over the water and cry. The water has a very soothing effect.

I'm very sensetive to things like bird songs even. I can start cry when I hear a beutiful bird song. Even light has a different effect on me, I can get wistful or melancholic just by the soft sunset light etc. Or if I walk into a room with natural light, I can get so affected by how the light is faling, by the "mood" the light sets etc, ok hard to explain haha.

I'm a also a nature/animal photographer. I love capturing beautiful sceneries and animals in action etc.

And yes, I'm a very reliable person, always there for my friends. Very loyal and, ok this is not a good thing, but I'm very possesive of male friends. If we are a group of 2-3 people, I don't wanna let anyone else near my "flock". I will be cold and distant to anyone who tries to get close and wanna hang out with us, I want my friends all to myself!

And this is with other males trying to get close to male friends. Imagine females trying to get in! Haha

I will soon have my bachelors degree in environmental science^^

Interesting that you should mention not being able to trust your mother's moods when young. That Moon-Mars-Uranus interplay of yours suggests that.

I wonder if you have Mars/Uranus or Pluto on the Mc/Ic angle? I find this aspect explains an individual whom has learned to be touchy and defensive at an early age- due to the environment they were brought up under.

I have Moon/Mars square and Moon/Asc square. The Ic is ruled by the Moon- I learned to distance myself a little from my upbringing.

I became too sensitive around it and moving out was the best decision I made.

Interesting! Yes infact My Mars-moon-chiron is 10th house. Oppo Uranus-Saturn in 4th house. They are not directly on the Mc/IC axis though. Pluto is my last dispositor and true chart ruler. And he is inconjunct Mars.

Yes I'm so touchy and I get very defensiv, and if I can not talk or show my anger/sadness I will shut down. I'm more sensetive towards being hurt by males. And yes lots of issues with my mother. She is the one who has to suffer my defensiveness etc, but she is the same so..

The good thing is, she never ever lies. Never. So I can always be 100% sure she tells the truth, and that security I have had since being a kid. She is awesome on that aspect. Also that she does not (usually) hold onto grudges like my Cancer sun father does.

The thig is. In my family all my siblings and I have learned by our mother to show sadness disappointment, feel of loss, desperation etc what ever "sad" feeling, we show it through being angry and reactive, irritated etc.

And after that shut down mood for maybe a few hours, maybe days, maybe weeks.

BUT I can pull myself together and move on. I'm very resillient emotionally, ad I learned thats due to Moon-Saturn and also maybe my Mars-Jupiter sextile.

It makes sense it got better wen you moved away! And I'm happy you were able to! What your background with family?

I always say to my mother "I can't live with you nor without you". She is my only friend and constant actually. I know our relationship would be so great if we were not to live in the same house constantly in each others faces. I just have to finish uni, get a job and move the hell out.
