I'm sure this horse has been beaten to death one too many times🤣 but I was curiouse to know what transits or progressions would indicate an automobile accident (specifically a car accident)? Other's can chime in with their experiences as well. I've heard and read about major aspects (Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Quincunx, Parallel, or Contra-Parallel) to either natal Mercury or progressed Mercury can bring about such an event, particularly the outer planet's to Mercury (natal or progressed) is this still the case? Can anyone tell me any other possibilities? I'm not sure if the Trine or Sextile would count though? Thanks!

I just checked the transits for the day I had a car accident a couple of years ago. A driver wasn't paying attention coming up to a roundabout, accelerated into the back of us (we were stationary) at around 30mph.Her car was instantly written off, airbags deployed, she broke her arm and would have wicked whiplash. We were fine, I got a minor leg injury from where the back of the seat went into my calf, miraculously my toddler was ok despite being in the backseat and taking the more direct force. Thank god for the car seat. We were very lucky as there were no cars coming round the roundabout at the time as that would have been a double impact. The major transits on that day were: t. saturn and t. moon on MC (also closely trine n. mercury); t. mars on uranus; t. jupiter widely conjunct vertex (1deg48mins); t. loosely conjunct antivertex (1deg42mins). There may be other things in the declinations I've not checked yet. None of the asteroids mentioned above feature particularly strongly, but then it wasn't a serious injury crash (we were incredibly fortunate). I'd always look for contacts to uranus, particularly with mars (over-confidence, speed); and contacts to vertex/anti-vertex to indicate unexpected nature. Other asteroids I'd check: Fortuna (19) (luck, good or bad); Tyche (258) (again, luck or fortune); Icarus (1566) (over-confidence, going too fast); Phaethon (3200) This link has some good random asteroids: http://straightwoo.com/2016/05/30/asteroids-pain-loss-abuse/ Interestingly, transit Tyche was on my North Node and natal mars. Interesting because we were so lucky - but also because it was one of the chain of events that eventually led to me leaving my now-ex (who was driving the car at the time). Was a fated experience that literally highlighted some realities to me. IP: Logged |

When I had my accident, transiting Uranus was transiting my 1st house. Saturn was conjunct my Sun. The car was totaled, I had chemical burns, whiplash, broken teeth and a few cuts. I had forgotten my cell phone at home but in a strange turn of luck a police officer had just gotten into an accident a few yards from me and was on the phone with 911 when he saw my accident. No quoting please. In my accident this is what I noticed. The 3rd house cusp is 19 Gem. Natally Mars trines the 3rd house cusp. On the day of the accident, progressed Moon in 17 Degrees Sag was sextile natal Mars and opposing the natal 3rd house cusp. IP: Logged |

Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto transits to natal Asc/Moon/Sun/Mercury. Generally the stressful transits (squares, oppositions, etc), but can be combined with flowing ones as well. In progressions, culminated/culminating aspects to the 3rd house cusp/ruler/contents/Mercury. Culminating means within 0°05' orb max. All these in longitude or declination. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Declinations: because the planets move north and south of the celestial equator IP: Logged |

With anything unpredictable like accidents, I would think Uranus would be somewhat involved. Mars is the next usual suspect. The combination of both makes it highly likely. Saturn can be involved if the person tends to drive recklessly. Also look at the person's natal chart and stressful aspects to mars or sun or even ascendant to see if there is likelyhood of accidents. I have mars sextile Saturn natally, I find that to be a protective factor. i have been involved in a relatively low number of accident and have never been harmed. In fact, there have been numerous times when I narrowly avoided an accident, I am grateful for that. IP: Logged |
