Can we talk about how Sun and Moon expresses themselves differently in same sign?

What are main differences in needs/wants/expressions etc for:

Sun/Moon

Aries Aries
Taurus Taurus

and so on

Reason for wondering is because I’m nothing like MOST Cancer moons I’ve met!

Look to outer aspects. Even the trines and sextiles count. Also look to the house your Moon is in.

A Moon in Cancer is typically said to be emotional, nurturing and home loving etc. And this is a general description.

However if the Moon is square Uranus for instance, things change a lot. This person may move around a lot, nor be close to family/Mom or be the type who doesn't stay in one place(home) for long.

If the Moon is in the 9th house of the same individual, they may live abroad or be the type to travel incessantly.

The square to Uranus may suggest that they even break immigration laws and travel illegally or indulge in risque behavior in other countries/in their own homeland.

The square to Moon in Cancer increases their changeability. But it is likely to be concentrated in a life that is outside the domestic scene- as is atypical of Cancer.

But true to Cancer energy, they may be the types who can make a home anywhere and are often forced to(square). So there are lots of friends in many places, but the bonds are unceremoniously cut or abruptly severed because they have to move somewhere else or be on their own.

The above doesn't sound like a "I will make the cookies" type or Cancer Moon you know of. The Uranus square will force them to be more independent and self sufficient. Marriage or settling down to a "normal" domestic life may not happen for these Cancer Moons.

I for instance have Moon in 3rd closely conjunct the Ic. The Moon also squares Mars and trines Saturn. Being emotionally mature has been something covertly taught to me at a young age.

I am not close to my family in the "call them everyday" sense. To see them once a year is enough. My life is not built around them so I don't relate much to the Cancer descriptions also seeing that my Mars/Mercury squares the Ic.

But I do relate to the sensitivity, the emotional aspect of Cancer and the strong desire to feel safe and protected. Although this is more through intellectual feeding (3rd house) than hugs and kisses.

I find this really interesting,im curious to see the replies on this topic.i have moon in pisces and i dont like pisces sun so much, maybe cause the moon in a sign knows very well all the characteristics of that particular sign and cant control them easily,on the other hand sun in same sign feels good having those characteristics cause sun is more conscious,so maybe he can control them better...

Don’t you have sun/moon in the same sign? I’m really curious what your personal experience with it is, especially in Pisces. Without considering other aspects, sun/moon in the same sign is said to be well integrated. I also read, people born on a new moon are more of an Aries type.
