What important transits have you been through without even noticing they were happening? Today, Uranus in my 8th house exactly squared my moon in capricorn and the 5th. I thought someone would die, or that I’d find a body somewhere and it would jolt the creative part of me back to life! Nothing. Except for anxiety. Is it true that the stars behave differently when watched?

Unless it has to do with my moon & neptune being conjunct. Maybe when it hits my Neptune it’ll make itself heard!

I read somewhere that outer planet transits trigger real outside events into our lives and that we cannot escape them.

Hardly any transit affects me. My tooth hurt about a month ago and I blamed that one on a transit.

That's really interesting cause I've heard from an astrologer that the only planet who make things happen in the tangible way was Saturn, other planets changes are felt internally... And also I've heard that those changes won't happen the very same day, specially when Uranus takes like 21 days to move a degree, so that square was in effect since days ago or will be in effect for days.

Don't really know about Saturn being the only one making things happen in the tangible world, cause I did lost weight with Uranus in my 6th which was a tangible result but from something that came from within, a radical change in my diet, and I did fell in love with someone from a completely different culture when it was moving through my 5th...

Single planetary transits rarely trigger events on the day of exact culmination of aspect to a natal point. Astrological transits work in concert, in aggregate -- not as if they were isolated factors. They continue to be active within an orb of about 3/4 to 4/5 of what would be an active natal orb. So Uranus in square to natal Moon would be active +/-5° from exact (but especially within 3°).

So you are still well within your window of opportunity for experiencing the transit.

Also houses do not define the limits or total tone of the transits -- certainly not events themselves. Uranus in transit square natal Moon is first a de-stabilizer of internal/emotional patterns with the purpose of breaking free of ruts or of the desire for safety and security. In other words, that transit is one that challenges you to take emotional risk you were otherwise be disinclined to take; to express yourself with electric certainty; to reveal previously hidden aspects of yourself that were taboo within your family or social culture. It is about you not stuff or events happening around you. If such Uranus-Moon transits seem to be about stuff happening around you, consider yourself in projection mode. It really is about you -- with you.

With Uranus also squaring natal Neptune, you can expect that it is less about raw electric emotional urges to kick over the traces in search of free expression, and far more about re-aligning yourself to a dream, an ideal, awakening to the higher aspects of yourself contained in a latent emotionally or intuitively felt seed within.

The slower moving planets (Jupiter outward) do play into the timing of life events, but they require enough fire planets (Sun, Mars, Jupiter) in simultaneous transits of some kind, or at least Mercury.

That's right. It actually goes back into Aries for a while longer 6 November 2018 - 5 March 2019.

ah Uranus...

You think you can pinpoint when exactly Uranus will strike and what it will do? OP, all I am going to say is that Uranus will surprise you when you least expect it. That is how it operates.

True.

I am an Uncle

My Asc Gem,Scorpio Sun/Moon Aries little sister birthed a Taurus Sun/Gemini Moon Asc in Scorpio boy yesterday at 4:22 pm.

We didn't expect him till the 24th. And he has the Uranus-Mercury conjunct square Mars chart signature.

Uranus hitting my luminaries years ago brought a bunch of changes in my life LOL......Transits definitely impact our lives.

Tr Uranus just hit your moon, give it some time, let the energy build up some more LOL.

If there are changes you want to make in your life I feel Uranus facilitates this process.

Guys, Uranus goes retrograde every year in August from here onwards i.e 2018,2019, 2020,2021,2022,2023.

I only got up to 2023. Every year without fail(according to the Swiss Ephemeris) Uranus will go retro in the month of August.

I am not sure how to feel about this. Sun/Neptune are near to Uranus by trine in the next two years.

Can I just deal with Pluto & Saturn right now please? Can all that drama of Uranus just take a break for much later?

True. It presents the element of least predictability, even from the starting place of the natal chart. If there are strong Uranian factors there, the person's transits and progressions timing often won't allow consistent event-related prediction as with other less Uranian persons.

Same if there are strong Uranus factors in transits or progressions. The best thing is to understand the widest window of its associated opportunities and to focus on what intent to hold for that period.

I am seeing a huge amount of things starting to happen, as I have a lot of people in my life with luminaries at 0-3/4 deg fixed.

My sister is a 0deg leo sun, her partner has been made redundant, a couple of months back her son was born 6 and a half weeks early (he's doing great).

My mum has 3deg sun, and possibly a late aries ascendant (needs rectifying) - she's in the middle of selling the home she brought us up in, and it's moving much quicker than expected.

One of my team at work is a 0deg leo sun. Bought a very expensive new bicycle last week. Rode it twice, was stolen yesterday.

There's other stuff, too, but in general, this is out of the blue stuff. And we have another year to get through - and then those people in my life with luminaries 3-7 degrees will get the same in 2020. Hopefully by then we'll have started to get better at adapting to surprise changes.

We're all fixed. It's not easy for us!
