What I've seen written about VERY slow moving planets is that you read it mainly for the (placidus) house it currently transits.When it gets within a degree or so, it shifts.
Right now, Uranus is 0.34 ON my earthquake asteroid. (Mt Kilauea Volcano JUST set off within the hour).
Reaches H5 CUSP-line at 0.42 Taurus... next Tues, May 29.
{Might as well 'call it' H5 IN that degree of 0}
biquintiles my Moon-Gaia Virgo H(9)
sextiles Mars Cancer
We have a thunder-lightning storm right now.
Pretty exciting!

There are other house systems used.
Koch usually takes planets within 5 to 6 degrees and throws it into the next house. This is used more in Predictive astrology. It is not exact.
Depends on your chart and how you 'personally' feel each one of your degrees and planets.
It's up to 'you' to decide if you 'feel' it or not, then take it from there.
Thanks for the reports you give.
Helps us to understand.
ADD -- It's good in the beginnings to choose ONE way, and learn it not only intellectually, but to discern it viscerally/feeling/sensing the energies.
Then, using THAT as your baseline, you can begin to 'explore' the timings of other kinds of houses.
I learned off the placidus.
