Hi everyone, once again I'm curious about something and more than curious I need guidance from astrologers here, my mom had an attempt of surgery on the first days of April, she couldn't be intubated and even worst than that she had a pulmonary failure due to several attempts of intubation so the doctos stopped, now she's been preparing to attempt the surgery once again, though we don't have a date, she's been checking with doctors to see if she can go in, she's actually ok, she's not sick, she just need to remove breast implants after 10 years. Astrologically, this attempt, happened under Mercury retrograding in her 12th house (she realised she's afraid of dying specially on a surgery) and the same day Mars (her chart ruler) met Saturn in Capricorn. She after that made a huge change around the New Moon in Aries she decided to quit smoking (after more than 40 years) cause obviously that played a role into the situation, she's been taking care of that, even eating better and doing exercise, and not having any issues.
I say the astrological reference cause she was really surprise to see how astrology actually made sense into the whole thing. She's a Pisces Sun, Aries Rising, Sagittarius Moon. Now as Mars being her chart ruler about to retrograde, I wonder if its ok to have surgery under this retrograde motion? anyone has experience something like that? or maybe some insight, I really appreciate all the help I get here understanding. This is her chart: IP: Logged |

Thank you Mirage! I translated some of the articles for my mom, specially cause she kinda exaggerates things lol, I was like "Mom, my chart ruler is Pluto, if you think about it goes retro for 6 months" so she wouldn't make it that big of a deal, but I'm actually worried to be honest. IP: Logged |

That's funny, Areesquivel. Actually, Scorpio is one of those signs with TWO rulers. Mars, AND Pluto. Mars AND Venus are going retrograde this year. I had to chuckle when I read in one of the articles that the best thing you can do is to hire a Competent Doctor! … (Good word of advice, after what your mom just went through???? ) If there's nothing wrong with the implants, then there could be no harm in waiting till later in the year, or even next? Excellent advice would be to get a professional medical/horary astrologer to set up windows of time for you both. For peace of mind, locate a professional astrologer who has proven-experience in this area of astrology. Contact the authors in those articles for a reference? Or, to schedule time with them personally. {It's outside my field of expertise.} You could also try to get in touch with these people.

Thank you Mirage, my mom actually loved the articles, cause yeah, she'll be more confident in a good doctor than just good aspects in the sky, we can't have everything and maybe this just shows how apprehensive I can be, I am going through a Saturn conjunct Natal pluto, activating my natal opposition to Mercury and Venus, I feel I'm kind of depressed and imagining things in a WAY worst way, with every possible bad scenario. I'm well aware of things and that's thanks to astrology too, but in this case I'm going to trust the doctor no matter the date!IP: Logged |

Thanks, Areesquivel! Don't be so hard on yourself about it. I think there's ~nervous energy out there for many. Easy to scare self with astrology (I know from personal experience! LOL) Especially, the state of things (events) happening in the world right now is causing fear and uneasiness. So much volatility.Full Moon Sag involves USA's Uranus Gemini! (wow) So glad your Mom liked the articles. ONE time NOT to schedule surgery (if you can help it) is during a Full Moon. It's known that people tend to hemorrhage more during a Full Moon.

Yes you are so right, the atmosphere already feels weird with everything going on! I made a mistake I meant Saturn over natal Neptune, which makes sense cause I'll be coming up with stories in my head.I think will be after the New Moon on June 16th or June 23rd so no exact Full Moon or New Moon date! cause they only operate on Saturday lol. I'm kinda scared about that Sag Full Moon, feeling the energy of something I've lived before, deja vu kind of feeling it doesn't exactly aspect anything on my chart though, I think trines my natal North Node in Aries and Natal Mars in Leo. I think if I'm correct it also aspects the North Node in Leo which is transiting my 10th house to my 9th house, I'm excited somehow cause I know North Node is a step close to what I'm supposed to be and do in life. Thanks for your help Mirage!
