I just had a thought about the conjunction of Venus and Mars in the natal chart. I have my Venus conjunct Mars in Aries, both in the 2nd house at 1.15 degrees. Is this a close conjunct? Is it positive and does it make for a great long love life if your Venus and Mars are in conjunct closely together.

the problem with the aspect is that people are turn between be too assertive, or being to people accommodating. venus want to consider others when acting, mars could not care less about other. mars want what he wants.. that tension produces the sex-appeal but also the switching between these two contradictory energies.

I have Venus in Leo conjuct Mars in Leo by 1orb in 2nd H like you! Mine ate afflicted by Pluto in scorpio thouugh.
It makes you attractive not physically, but people are drawn to you. I don't if it like that because I have it in Leo.

Every aspect with Mars IMO is like a knife.

You can cut with a knife. But you can also kill with one.

Venus/Mars conj is a contradiction.Love and aggression. Its about balance. But with Aries, the emphasis is more on aggression (Mars in Aries rules Venus).

Your energy could in one breath be a great motivator(a knife that cuts). But it can also be a source of irritation( a knife that kills).

The conjunction in the 2nd suggests a love of making a living being competitive(Mars) and then using that same money to buy stuff(Venus).

there is grasciouness in movement. for instance a person with this aspect in dancing have a charming way of moving, maybe they are not more flexible than someone else, but their movement would have more grace.

that is part of what makes them sexually attractive. the way the physical attractiveness is conveyes (not to be confounded with physical beauty) is coloured by the sign of the conjunction. pisceans with that conjunction can be very attractive and the elements of mars are soft shades.. instead the opposite with aries where mars person wish have some venusian shades.. in anycase that combination it attractive

Sat-Mars conj in Vir is square Sun-Merc conj in Gem. Your weapon of choice is the mind.

Saturn and Mars in Virgo has perfectionist tendencies. Its not an impulsive "go getter" position. But one that is quite careful, prudent and exacting.

You are not much of a gambler. You can be very careful in asserting yourself and put much pressure on yourself to get things right the 1st time.

So this can make you easily irritable,self critical and self doubting.

In social situations, your flirtatious nature may be inhibited. But at work or when you are productive, it may come out.

I don't think yours is not being used at all. It could be that it is used at awkward times i.e where you are supposed to be relaxed, you tense up. When you are supposed to be more focused on work, you find more relaxation.

When we are alone one on one, I think his Mars comes out. He will be serious, almost cold, and have a wary expression on his face.
