It may be true that life is meaningless (although we don't know for sure), but don't you want your life to be happier than it was 10 years ago? 2 months ago? Wouldn't you rather have $2 million than $20,000?

Wouldn't you want to be a little famous? Just a few thoughts.

First off, don't try to beat it or think of beating it. It's not meant to be 'beat'. Accept it.
The more you try to beat it, the worse you feel and less you see. Every description of Neptune or Pisces is as mysterious, elusive or misunderstood as the planet itself. I don't think we're meant to 100% get Neptune, and if anyone claims they do, they miss the point of Neptune. Neptune isn't about exact science or anything tangible.

I don't think pessimism or distrust are the keys. Those can be just as deceptive as delusional hopes, and will and can also lead down a sad path. Healthy skepticism is good, though, but not stubborn skepticism. That easily becomes more like fear disguised as skepticism.

I get why they say that Pisces's co-ruler is Jupiter.

Just as Aquarius's planet is Uranus and co ruler is Saturn, to keep that insane, erratic, Earth shaking energy in mild check - Pisces needs Jupiter.

Jupiter is uplifting. Jupiter is hopeful. Jupiter is happy go lucky.

Neptune needs Jupiter, because on its own, Neptune is self destructive, depressed, "what's the point of it all?" they'll feel everything like a raw organ, ungrounded, lost and feel like they're going mad in the Neptunian fog.

Jupiter helps uplift Neptune. Like Eeyore with Tigger as his best friend.

Learning to flow with the current, rather than against it. Allowing myself to be creative and to daydream, but also maintaining a firm grip on reality. Not making any decisions based on delusions or lies (those that I tell myself or what others have told me). Keeping stable, grounded friends and family. Staying away from drugs and alcohol.

I've had Neptune transiting through my 1st house and opposing my Virgo stellium since 2012. While in Aquarius, it transited my ASC. I also have my Sun, Mercury, and Venus trine Neptune in my natal chart. I've managed to make mistakes with most of the above at some point during the last 6-8 years. But I've also managed to make some of it work for me in positive ways.

Pessimism hasn't helped me through the transit, by the way. In fact, the times when I've been most pessimistic, I've also been depressed, without hope, and generally miserable. I'm pretty sure I would not have survived if I had felt like that the entire time. It's been helpful for me to remain optimistic, with a healthy questioning attitude for that which doesn't seem quite right.
