Correction:

I have virgo/pisces intercepted in the 3rd/9th axis. Mercury RX squares my nodes and it also squares widely by 9 degrees my Neptune which conjuncts my AC and forms a tsquare with my Sun opposite Moon.

My Venus conjuncts Mars and they are duplicate rulers of my 5th/6th/MC and my 11th/12th are ruled by Pluto.

Do you have an intercepted planet? If so do you agree with this article?

"Generally speaking, when you find intercepted signs there are two reasons for it from an evolutionary point of view. The first is that these specific archetypes that are intercepted have been so thoroughly developed prior to the current life that the Soul does not need to develop those areas any further. If Aquarius is intercepted, yet the planetary ruler, Uranus is heavily aspected, or the Soul has a stacked 11th house, etc., then you can deduce that this case applies to that Soul. The second reason is that these archetypes have not been fully developed prior to the current life, again necessarily so, and that in this life the Soul is intended to develop those areas within consciousness. If there are no aspects to Uranus, or planets in the 11th house or Aquarius, then you could most likely determine this is the case for the Soul. These archetypes will become active through transit and progression of the natal chart for example."

The author simultaneously gets the basic definition right, but based on the misnomer of 'intercepted signs.' Signs have set definitions and are not intercepted by anything. Only houses are interceptions of an arc. As to the writing in the article ...

We always have the option of applying our intuition and using astrological factors creatively. That is not a unique feature of interceptions.

This article veers off of real interception conditions when talking about Sun, planets, etc, that take from old sign-based determinations. There is no such thing as an intercepted planet, which is the notion this article works from even if it states it by only saying they are in intercepted signs. Thus Sun and planets contained therein are seen as necessarily affected by the sign-house relationship in some special way. I disagree.

I find nothing useful in this article.

Interceptions are conditions of houses expanded beyond the average of 30° and inclusive of an entire sign. Most modern views of this are biases by the assumption a chart should look a certain way, therefore this is somehow an 'abnormal' condition.

All houses that are widely expanded introduce a greater than average emphasis, which may only have its effect with planets in transit or progression through those houses if there are none placed there natally.

I could see how a sign that is locked in a house since is surrounded by another sign has difficulty expressing itself and or expresses itself in a unique way as she suggests.

I could see how the ruler of that sign that is locked in a house can be considered an intercepted planet since it rules the sign that is intercepted (locked in) in the house. Its essentially trapped and it will come with issues or result in the person expressing that trapped sign in a unique way.

Thanks for the link, Hypatia.
Yes.. Have Moon in the interception

QUOTE
Moon - If your Moon is in an intercepted sign.., your moods are linked to your intuition stronger than many other people not having an intercepted Moon.
.. Your lunar instincts are probably extra sensitive to the feelings of others when having an intercepted sign residence.
.. Since the Moon has to do with home, it is very important when intercepted to find the right geographical location to give a sense of inner harmony, the reason being that your intuition will assist you to easier find the relationships and outlets for your emotional needs.
.. The intercepted Moon has a magical way to guide you to experiences that heal old inner wounds and soothe the pain of others.

Mercury Rx rules my DC and squares my nodes, mercury rules my intercepted virgo in the 9th house and squares Neptune at the Galactic Center which also conjuncts my AC, Mercury also opposes my Moon which also squares my nodes. Neptune is the ruler of my intercepted pisces in the 3rd house.

Pros: Lets see I immigrated to the US when I was 10 and know two languages bc of it, I am a bilingual staff therapist. I have a cute accent. I did marry a foreigner and would again if I remarry.

Lessons: But with relationships I tend to have high ideals and expectations involving romantic love (e.g.Neptune square moon in pisces, venus/mars in leo in the 8th, DC ruler Mercury Rx square Neptune widely).

I think when it comes to my love life I am here to learn to check in with myself and what I want and need and figure out what kind of relationship arrangement works for me. Its like in a past life my marriage was probably arranged for ME and I did what was expected of me and didn't truly honor my needs and desires and doing so was dangerous and possibly got me killed, I just went along with what others wanted and was expected of me perhaps. In this life that has to change and I need to develop mindfulness around relationships and balance out my romantic ideals more.

I need to come up with my own views on relationships and love while I honor my romantic side and high ideals but also challenge those high ideals and keep them in check so they are realistic. Like honor my romantic ideals but also contain them. Like I am suppose to integrate the realist and idealist in my personality and perspective on relationships so that they work together instead of going from one extreme to the other which often leads to decisions that are self destructive.

Its almost like a big part of why I am here is to balance out and integrate my views on relationships and love and come up with a more whole in depth perspective after a long process of introspection and research derived from personal experiences and the experiences of others (that is not dictated by social conditioning and societal expectations evidenced by mer been Rx and intercepted and my chart ruler Jupiter conjuncting Uranus 3rd house ruler, yet neptune in the GC conjunct my AC is the intercepted 3rd house ruler squaring intercepted merc rx).

It has been quite a journey, my views over the years have under gone drastic transformations. I feel I am closer than ever with integrating my views and cracking down my skipped steps/intercepted signs and retro planet.
