What aspects or placements in a natal chart do you think would make a person seem enigmatic and mysterious? Or sometimes, when you just meet someone and they have a kind of special presence or star quality?IP: Logged |

My guess Pluto/Neptune on Sun/Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars or Angles. This includes water placement heavy chart. This could also be the case if Neptune/Pluto is conjunct Sun/Moon, Mercury/Venus or Ven/Mars midpoint. Or any other cross personal planets links and angles. I seem "mysterious" to a lot of people and Neptune sits on my Sun. And my chart has heavy water placements with Moon in Cancer conjunct ye Ic(private) IP: Logged |

Aquarius in 12th house or Pisces in 11th house. Aquarius is literally known as enigmatic, and Pisces is literally known as mysterious. Put those two in either house, stuff an inner planet in there, and you've got the sure mix! (planets apply too). Add some zing with Neptune, Uranus or Pluto aspects and you've got one of the most enigmatic and mysterious people in the woyld. IP: Logged |

Any Pluto contacts and prominent Scorpio placements definitely give off some kind of in your face intensity to me.I think Neptune is mysterious in an alluring way. Venus is alluring too, but not so mysterious. We all know Pluto conjunct Asc is enigmatic, but I wonder would Pluto square Ascendant be enigmatic/mysterious too? Is there a difference? I think the emotional elements, fire and water, would be noticed the most for their "star quality." IP: Logged |

I'd say both...and more.Thing is that Mars is not engaging in my opinion. These personality types are direct. There is very little to "figure out" or "discover". Mer/Ven types are also not mysterious Perhaps both can throw curve balls that make people distrustful by being less than outstanding in their fidelity. But that's not deep. Uranus/Jupiter can both be chaotic, weird and crazy. I wouldn't say these types are enigmatic or mysterious. Just plain disturbing most times and fascinating in others. Uranus being the former and Jupiter the latter. Moon/Neptune and Pluto types are another kettle of fish. Many not quite " all" in planet earth and VERY layered. This"mystery" or "magnetic" aura is not on purpose. They are often people that when others meet, they will say "who is that person?". Because they seem so immediately intriguing. Marlon Brando was very "Mars-like" in his approach to his life. And he was admired for that. But look also at his Sun/Moon/Mercury/Mars cardinal square in aspect to Pluto. And he is admired still and renowned for his "charisma". In his case I guess it helps that his numerological number is Venus ruled 6. So even with the usually brusque Moon in Aries, all is forgiven.

You also have Pluto in parallel aspect to Saturn (its like a conjunction). So that makes you " brutally frank" or realistic.IP: Logged |

I think the list Somna7H gave is pretty good. I've had this energy in my lifetime, two of the listed aspects at least apply to me. Also a close aspect to the great Attractor or GC are magnetism energies. My natal asc Cnjs them. This can be a blessing and a curse though!IP: Logged |

I agree with the majority here. Pluto/Neptune conjucting ASC or DSC Pluto Neptune hard aspects especially conjuction and then opposition And personal planets in Scorpio or Pisces. I have Pluto in 5th H trine ASC, square Venus, Mars and Jup in Leo. I don't feel like I give Pluto vibes (except of when I'm flirting with someone) but others think I'm a Scorpio most of the time even though I am Cancer Sun, AsC and Mercury and Pisces Moon. Cancer, Pisces and Leo are the most child looking signs and I have them all (unfortunately) I find that Neptune aspect give that ethereal mysterious vibe when there is a bit of Scorpio or Pluto hard aspects in the chart. A Pisces ASC by itself is not mysterious imo. Ascorpio one though yes. That is because Neptune gives that innocent sweet dreamy vibe by itself very similar to cancer which is nit dreamy but more childlike. I also agree about Libra ASc especially being alluring, it gives the Neptunian vibe but in an airy way if that makes sense, it mysterious just not that deeply mysterious. Having Uranus and Neptune opposite ASC and Sun I don't know if people see me as out of their reach because of Neptune or Uranus. Like I am there but they feel like I am not really there, I think elusive is the right world. I don't know if it'd Uranus or Neptune and if that seems mysterious though. It makes me sad because people close to m feel it too.. even if I am with someone all the time and we are close for years and U always support them emotionally and practically they still feel like they are going to lose me for no real reason and I bet it has to do with my Sun and ASC oppositions. They can't take me for granted no matter what. IP: Logged |

"Cold the close you get"? You mean, they seem warm/friendly initially, but seem cold when you are closer? IP: Logged |

This generally indicates some type of Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto emphasis re: Asc, Moon, Sun, etc. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged |

Yes. They are friendly but I wouldn't call them warm at all. Even when they are friendly they are aloof. You feel the distance. The closer you try to get to them the bigger the distance becomes. An an Uranus opposite Sun and ASC person, with Aqua in 8th H I am like that myself, so I get it IP: Logged |
